Hello! I’m considering purchasing your theme, and I have a few pre-sales questions on some features I’m looking for. Here goes:
1. When applicants fill out their résume, is it possible to add skills with a tag system? Consider linkedin: the competences area allows users to start typing any given skill and completes it for them, is this possible?
2. Is it possible to display possible good matching jobs to applicants based on their skillset? For example, if a job requires “communication” and “accounting” skills and an applicant has those, will he see them first in possibly a “suggested jobs” listing?
3. Is Italian language supported?
4. Is there a logical separation between “employees” and “employers”, and it possible to add custom fields to the employer only?
5. Is it possible to keep track of search preferences, such as recent searches or search templates?
Thanks, please let me know!
Hello there Leonardo,
Hope you are doing well today!
1)Unfortunately, this is not possible. The Resume Manager plugin does not offer this option. You may be able to edit the field and make it into a drop-down to select predefined skills, but not have a tag system,
2)Unfortunately, WP Job Manager and the Resume Manager plugin do not offer a matching system that links a candidates skills with job matches. You might want to look at the Job Alerts Extension as an alternative. See 5.
3)Yes, you can translate the website into Italian: Translating your entire website.
4)The main separation is that Employers submit and can manage Jobs. Once a Job is submitted by a user they become Employers. Apart from that, the two are similar.
5)Using the Job Alerts Extension allows you to save Search Criteria and notify users when a new job is submitted matching that same search.
Hope this answers your questions.
Let me know if you have additional questions.

Hello Fernando,
Thank you for your very clear answers, I will look into the recommended solutions. Just one final clarification: I seem to understand from Transifex that the Italian translation is 10% complete, but I will be able to upload my own; will that be merged into future updates, or am I running the risk of losing the translation upon update? Thanks!
Hi again,
As long as you setup the po and mo files and save them the same way it is described in step 3 you will not lose your translation each time there is an update.
Hope this helps!
Fernando
Alright, thanks; I went ahead and translated everything, if it’s useful I’ll upload it for everyone. Purchasing now.
Just a heads up. When a company adds their description. The way it is posted looks very bad. The description is flushed up against the “apply for job” button at the bottom of a job description page. Perhaps this can be an update to fix as it looks pretty bad.
I’m not sure if the company description is just populating in the wrong area…but there seems to be a bug

Is this plugin fully compatible? as it is not listed here: http://jobify.astoundify.com/article/797-compatible-wp-job-manager-add-ons but the plugin owner states it is compatible (including redux framework) What say you?
Hi there,
Hope you are doing well today!
Sorry not sure which plugin you are referring to in particular. Currently, Jobify works best with official WP Job Manager extensions. Other 3rd-party extensions can be used but we do not officially support them. Any support would need to be through the plugin developers. This would be the case for the Redux Framework.
Kind Regards,
Fernando
Hi
I would like to as if I purchase the theme, and not install the job-manager plugin, the (popup form) that appears when user click on apply to the job button would be missed?
Hi there,
Hope you are doing well today.
WP Job Manager is a required plugin in order to use Jobify. Without WP Job Manager Jobify and the core features will not work. This includes the Apply for Job feature. As it is a WP Job Manager feature.
Kind regards,
Fernando

Hello, can this theme have people uploading their videos next to the resume and other information? The videos have to be self-hosted?
Hi there,
Hope you are doing well today.
The Resume Manager plugin will allow users to upload videos using a link that can be viewed from the single Candidate page. This is viewed when clicking the Actions widget Video button. A popup will appear.
All information can be added to the Resume Text Area for a user to fill out.
Hope this helps!

Please update the changelog, it does not show changes that happened in 3.8.2 and 3.8.3. I use a child theme as well as some changes to the core files (b/c they were not possible to override) and so beyond just wanting to know what is new, changes really need to be known for people like me who modify. Thanks!

Just to double check…. I have a single licence… can I install only on 1 domain or can I install on another one I own.
Hey there!
It is great to hear from you and I hope you are doing well!
You can use your license for multiple domains. It is not restricted to just one install or one domain. Feel free to use Jobify for multiple projects.
Kind Regards,
Fernando
Hello
How can visitors apply for jobs without signing up for the website ?
Thanks
Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out!
Jobify does not require for users to signup in order to apply for jobs. Any user can apply for a job whether they are logged in or not.
You would only need to be logged in if you integrated the Private Messages plugin. This will require users to sign up to apply.
If you need further assistance, please contact us through our Support Channel.
Hope this helps!

HI! I have a presales question. I want to setup this home https://jobify-demos.astoundify.com/classic/. Soliloquy Slider is used but I want to know if it is included in the theme. If it isnt, is there any other possibility to make a homepage like that? Thanks
Hi there,
Hope you are doing well today!
Soliloquy slider is not included with the theme. The theme does not have a default slider feature, but you can use any slider plugin of your choice and add it to the homepage widget area.
Hope this answers your questions.

On the website www.greydientjobs.co.uk when customers are entering a specific UK address like “Liverpool, England” it is flagging up when submitted as “Anywhere”. Please reply with a solution.

Please contact support for help with this one as we will need to look at your site: https://astoundify.com/account/new-ticket/

The Sign Up Pop Up box has a Link at the bottom to “Log In” that directs to Wordpress login. That does not happen on your demo…is this a bug? How is this resolved?
Hey! Please install WooCommerce, make sure theme is up to date using the latest version and all pages are properly assigned in WooCommerce > Settings > Accounts
If you still require help please contact us over at our help desk.

It still is there and won’t disappear without editing the plugin in Editor. Please advise. Anyone else having this issue?
Does the theme come with PSD files for design?
We don’t we created the theme in Sketch a long time ago and the design has since changed using CSS/HTML update.
Thanks
Is there a possibility that the candidate does not have contact with the employer and pass all this information through the administrator? And the other is if you can create a third profile?
Hi there,
Hope you are doing well today.
It can be possible to do so. In particular, if you use Ninja Forms, you can just ensure that instead of emailing the Employer, all emails got the Admin.
By default, there is no ability to create a 3rd-profile. The theme or core plugins do not have an option, unfortunately.
Hope this answers your questions!
Fernando
Which plugins are included in the theme?
Hello there,
Hope you are doing well today.
Our theme is not bundled with any premium plugins. Our Setup guide will install the core free plugins to use with Jobify that is it. Our theme works without any premium plugins as seen in our Jobify Classic Demo.
Our Extended Demo does use paid plugins that only adds additional features to the theme if needed. These plugins are not required to have the theme working.
Hope this answers your questions,
Fernando
Hello Fernando. Can I get rid of the packages in this theme? mycustomer wants the employers and candidates to post their stuff for free. Thanks in advance for your answer
Also I wish to translate it to spanish language
Hello there,
Hope you are doing well today.
Out of the box, users can submit Jobs and Resumes free. So the theme has you covered.
The theme should also include a Spanish translation, but if you wish to translate the theme, you can do so as mentioned here: Translate your website.
Kind Regards,
Fernando
