We are working on clients website which uses this theme. There is a slight problem and we wanted to let you know about this.
Under “Customize”—> “Blog”, you allow to change the portfolio slug and we did change it to “featured”. There problem is when using portfolio categories because the link retains its original slug e.g. domain.com/portfolio-category/houses. Can you add a way to change “portfolio-categories” slug too?

We haven’t yet tested YITH WooCommerce Gift Cards plugin so I can’t say for sure how it will work but again there are no reported issues with this plugins. You can give it a shot!

I can see you’re using a plugin to add color swatches and if that plugin doesn’t have a built in option to add a border around that option I can only suggest you contact the plugin support channel or you use custom code.

How can I remove the “Description”-heading from each product page? I understand that my support has expired, but it would still be very helpful if you could answer me. Some products have a “H2 Description”-heading and some do not. Thank you in advance for your effort.

There isn’t a built in option to remove “Description” title from the product page and you can only use custom code.

The shop functionality including the product page and shipping options are controlled by WooCommerce. By default WooCommerce doesn’t include a built in option to add shipping charges and dates on the product page. My recommendation is to look for a plugin with these options.

Dear Shopkeeper Team, I am experiencing a bug (Only on Safari and Apple Devices) where the product picture is not updating properly to the attributes set in the link. I know that you worked on the issue but unfortunately its not working on Safari or Apple Devices. This is our main customer group.

I did a test on both a Mac and an Iphone using Safari and in each case changing variations on a Variable product worked great. You should go through the Troubleshooting Guide first and if that won’t help you get to the bottom of it, please reach out to the support team and provide a link to your site and a temporary admin username and password so we can look into it.

How do I make an individual product page be the static front page? I have read the instructions on how to make a “page” or “post” the static front page, but not a “product” the static front page. I have also tried creating a new page and only including the WooCommerce shortcodes product_page id=”2221″ in the text editor, but that does not bring up the product.

Hi! I’m about to translate my site to different languages. Instead of creating a multi language site on one domain I’m thinking of using different top domains (.de and .ch). Do I need to buy licens for every top domain?

When it’s a multi-language or a network WP site setup, you need to install the theme in a single location and activate your license. A license is required for each instance, so you’re free to install it on multiple WP instances, but in this case you will be able to activate your license on one site. That one site will receive updates, the other won’t. You can switch the license to one site or the other, but it can be active on one at a time.

I have a couple of questions,
1- I do not see many options to personalize the products, that is to say same product but different color or size for example 2- I see a problem in the checkout when the quantities are changed manually (writing the number) this does not update so it has to be used by clicking on the plus or minus buttons 3- They have in mind to add an integration with Dokan or WC Vendors

If your menu items have very long titles, then you can only use custom code to change the layout of the menu to suit the length of your item titles. If you need our help, please reach out to the support team

WooCommerce is the main ecommerce engine of the theme and by default it doesn’t offer a built in option to compare products. I’m pretty sure you’ll find a plugin with such options pretty fast. We haven’t tested such a plugin for a while but you should find one so you can have this option.

Hello,
I installed the theme Shopkeeper theme nice theme and added several plugins then began developing my site. I’m almost finished with my site and it is live online. I’ve discovered there are several styling aspects I want to change but it seems the theme is not permitting me to make those changes – is overwriting my changes even though I’m editing the top-level code, not editing the inherited code.
I’m using Simple css to make style modifications to individual pages and Simple css in the theme’s Appearance section for global changes.
1) I have been editing the parent theme. If I install the child theme, will I have more control over the changes I can’t make in the parent theme?
2) If I install the child theme now, will I lose all the work I’ve done to date?

Hi, I’m trying to update the theme from version 2.0.7. My Dashboard says “There is an update available for the Shopkeeper theme. Update now.” but clicking “Update now” takes me to a page that doesn’t show any way to update. The screenshots shown on the help page for how to update are not accurate for me. It does not show an option to update from the status bar of Wordpress. How can I update? Thanks

First you need to make sure you’re using the newest version of GetBowtied Tools plugin which is 2.3.2 and then make sure to connect your website to your Envato account in Shopkeeper > Updates. You should then be able to update the theme. If this still won’t work I can only recommend yo do a manual theme update.

Hi Alexandra, how can I do a manual theme update without losing my customizations? I know my support expired but I would gladly pay for more support for help getting me on the latest updates.
Your customization option shouldn’t be lost, assuming you haven’t actually custom coded the original theme’s files. All settings made through the administration dashboard should stay in place even if you delete the theme and upload the latest version’s zip file.
I haven’t found any communication record in our database, such as previous support requests coming from this username so I couldn’t get in touch by email. Please message us the info required to look into it: a link to your site and a temporary admin username and password so we can check your current setup.

Is there anyway to remove the 35px padding provided by visual composer? The visual composer documentation indicates it can be done via its master settings panel, but I believe shopkeeper has this disabeld. Possible to enable this menu?
