I deal with optimization every day, but a starting point of 11 is really hard to get to green even when the basic optimizations are met.

Thanks for asking. Technically there is no problem with our theme for speed issues. Let me explain.
The Google PageSpeed shows enable compression. This is not possible via theme and can be achieved by using any external plugin Like “WordPress Gzip Compression” and others. For other points like CSS minify, than can be achived by “WP Super Cache” or “WP Total Cache” plugins as they are providing options for this. We cannot provide this options in our theme as it’s plugin territory.
Also we are working on this and will provide you update with high score. Also we will share steps to improve score too.

I will probably move forward with this theme and work on it myself as a base line. You see, I believe a WordPress website should be as lean as possible.. if you have to apply cache modules, you have the wrong hosting – but that is just my opinion.

This theme is very slow!!!! i did a google page speed test and it ranked in the 40’s for both mobile and desktop. This is very poor.

Thanks for contacting us. You didn’t provided the report. The speed related issues may be not related to our theme but related to some option need to be active or related to bigger images.
We are using WordPress standard code structure so this cannot be due to our theme. Most of our buyers asking us this, but after our analyzing we found that most of the points are can be solved by using some plugins. The most favorite plugin is W3 Total Cache which can solve most of points.

Support site is perfectly working. Please check again via proxy or VPN so you will be sure for if our site is block via your ISP. Also we recommend you to open our support site via different internet connections.
Also we tested Visual Composer plugin and it’s updating perfectly. We tested on two different systems and it’s working perfectly. So that may be some other issue. Hu guys. I’m a proud owner of your theme from long ago… but today I’ve a really strange problem with Apicona. Every medics page, with correct link and so on, gives back a 404not found page and I really don’t know why. Even if I try to look at the preview I’ve the same problem. What’s happening? I really don’t know how to solve this. Nothing changed in the last week except I had to buy Visual Composer in order to have the last version because it didn’t upgrade with the theme upgrade. Can you please help me?

Glad to hear your trust on us.
First, you don’t need to buy Visual Composer plugin externally. We already released latest version of Apicona theme with Visual Composer v5.3 and this is latest major update of it. Also we need to check each VC release with our theme to make sure nothing will be broken so it may take some to release but we will sure release it.
For the 404 error, it looks like your server may changed something. The URL structure is totally handled by server and WordPress itself and we are just using it. To quick check it, just go to Admin > Settings > Permalinks section and save it. This can solve the problem it any small change happened on server. If still not solved than please contact us via our official support system at http://support.thememount.com/ and send us site URL with admin login details so we can check it. Also we recommend you to contact your hosting service provider so they can also guide you on this.

How do I edit a doctor page with visual composer. I only see lots of shortcodes and no options to edit in visual editor mode.

The doctor page editing is very easy. You can edit it with drag-n-drop page builder like a normal page. If it’s not working than it may be conflicting with some other code.

Great theme! Is it possible to have a subsection of the site with its own header image and menu? Such as a landing page with minimal menu, or a subsection for events or a conference, which we’d like to have a different header and maybe even a different logo.

I sent an email for support but thought this should be here for other purposes…It appears the new “Advanced” theme options break everything, while the Classic seems to work but without the use of Font Awesome…meaning, the icons don’t actually show up and you can’t seem to see the collection on the backend. I am sure with more digging I could find a lot more bugs, but basically, this release (v15) is super broken.

Hi – I am concerned you are not providing answers to a serious issue with this theme. On ipad PRO (Landscape) the navigation menu does not change to hamburger icon / responsive menu. When there is a sub page or drop down the user has no way of seeing this. Your team has given me no support and there is no settings to change the responsive view when the screen is 1366 pixels or less. No solution has been provided this is a serious flaw of the theme.
