Hi there, Which croma version you have? Essential Grid 2.1.6.2.2 should be available with croma 3.3.5. If you still cant update Essential Grid to 2.1.6.2.2 with croma 3.3.5, please contact me to alexandre.dubois@irontemplates.mail.intercom.io.

Hello, I have repeating events. Is it possible to simply “copy” an event and use it as template for upcoming dates with exactly the same description?
Yes you can dulplicate a event post. Please be sure you have installed the Duplicate post plugin. If you have not, please go to wp-admin>appearance>install plugin. When the plugin is installed, please go to wp-admin>setting>duplicate post>permission And check Event. And then you will be able to clone your event post.

HI There Has anything changed on mobile view with the last update 3.3.5? My mobile view on iPhone 6 has lost fonts and logos and so on, i know im no longer supported , im just wondering if i missed something major on the last update, ive deactivated my cache plugin w3 total cache , but no change.

Hi Alexandre I turned off “Move Dynamic/Custom CSS Into External Stylesheet?” in Croma > General Settings and that seemed to fix the problem, although it has been switched on since i first bought the theme, im happy to send you login credentials if you wanted to investigate further, let me know either way

Hi Again I think a better solution was to turn off “Enable Continious Audio Player and AJAX ” that seems to have improved site speed, one thing i have noticed however is that the play button on the player at the bottom of the screen has disappeared on mobile as well as desktop, if i change either of the settings ive discussed here its still missing, just in case you fancy a look its here when you click on Stand in Line, ive based the site on The Grid demo

I’m having a weird sudden issue on my videos page, when a video is clicked the lightbox does not fully load and seems to crash before becoming full opaque. I have not been able to isolate the issue to any plugin, leaving me wondering if the theme is at fault. Please go to wp-admin>croma>menu option Here you will find all settings you need to make your menu looks like the mini menu. And then you should select “default” to the “menu effect on scroll” option.

I am a big fan of this theme and use it for my most important project, but there is one severe problem that came up: When installing a effective caching plugin and/or looking on page-speed- it clearly shows that the theme loads A LOT OF JavaScript-Data from Cloudflare – must be the Croma Music plugin (at least seems to be)... This is A SPEED KILLER. Isn´t it possible to get the requested files and upload them locally? I talked to a few very knowlegeable coders and they all came to the same conclusion. Any idea what I can do? Thank you

Sorry for the wait. Cloudflare is more part of the solution then the issue. It cache all our scripts on their proxies servers. When we are using many plugins many call is necessary. We cant merge all of them. Plugins is good wordpress feature but this is not a optimized solution.

Thank you for the detailed reply! I fully understand your point. I have in mind that aspects like speed ranking and overall speed are some of the most important points in seo-work. And most themes today have a lot of function to offer and create a lot of java and ajax conflicts as they are overloaded and not compatible with other plugins etc. I LOVE CROMA and only hope that effectiveness will not be overlooked in future updates

I’ve contacted the support page but no help from Judith. The custom header for WPBakery does not work. When clicking on the link it just loads. The other functions for WPBakery work perfect but not the custom heading with Google Fonts. Any help to get this working would be appreciated.

Hi Alexandre, I was able to install the template separately so that I could compare exact settings to get the slider to function properly, so now it looks great! However, I’m still having problems with the photo gallery. I have all the settings (to the best of my abilities) set the same, but the photos are showing up in perfect rectangles instead of different sizes (fitting together like a puzzle) like the template. Do you have any idea what I could be missing?

Hi There, AWESOME THEME. I’ve read in the comments section that the audio player doesn’t support Soundcloud. Does the music slider support Soundcloud when you click on the images? e.g can a soundcloud player pop up when you click. Or alternativily can an image link to a blog post where I can embed the player. The reason Im asking is that all of my material is on Soundcloud so I’m finding ways to integrate it using your stunning theme.

Sorry, but Croma doesnt have this feature. But wordpress has the option to add class on menu item. With some CSS knowledge you can use these class to show or hide the menu item item on a specific page.

Hello. How can i update the plugins that are included in the theme? Because if I delete them to complete the update, all the settings get deleted. For example, “essential grid” I deleted and uploaded the updated version, but all the information and content got deleted from the plugin and showed a message saying “no essential grid found!” What should I do?

- Updated: Essential Grid to 2.1.6.2.2 which fix the Instagram feed issue. (Instruction: Please BACKUP your grid before updating the plugin—To update Essential Grid, make a backup of your grids first: Go to WP-Admin > Ess. Grid > Import/Export. Click Export then click Export Selected. Save the .json file on your computer. Then go to WP-Admin > plugins > and delete Essential Grid. Now go to WP-Admin > Appearance > Install Plugins and install Essential Grid again. Once its activated, go to WP-Admin > Ess. Grid > Import/Export. Click Import and Import the .json file you previously exported. then click the green READ FILE button.

Hello I your awesome theme and I’m having a strange problem with the logos. I use The Moons demo. I removed the logo on top left in CROMA > Logo > Header logo. It was replaced automatically by “alternative logo I have uploaded” and when I upload my logo for the header logo when I load the page the logo moves up by itself and the top part of the logo gets cut off, it also happens with the CROMA logo that comes with the demo. If I delete all the uploaded logos it is replaced automatically by Vercenzo my domain name. I have found nothing useful to resolve my issue in CROMA> Menu options or Logo options.
What I want to do is have my logo there as a link to the home page which is what it seems to do.

I have another issue with your theme:
I use WPML, and when we select another language, the page refresh well but not the menu! (flag and menu stay) What can I/you do for that? (edit: I tried the WPML option “AJAX cookie” but still not working)
Another one with the menu too: On Ipad, when we have a submenu, we can’t click on the first level menu. example: Home | Biography > gallery |...
I’m not able to go to “Biography” only the dropdown menu open and I can click “gallery” ..

Just one information more: I anticipate that you tell me to disable “Continious Audio Player and AJAX UNDER BETA”, but you sell your theme as “100% compatible with WPML”

About the submenu issue. Here 2 solutions : You can use a empty “custom link” as the parent as we have done with the “extra” menu item here. http://croma.irontemplates.com/lowtempo/You can also duplicate the parent item in the submen as we have done for the news menu item here http://croma.irontemplates.com/lowtempo/

For the submenu, when we designed it, we have think a lot about it. Imagine this: If we make the first menu level clickable on mobile, how people will be able to open the sub-menu and click on the sub items ?
We could make the arrow next to the main items clickable to open the sub menu, but it would not be super ergonomic and userfriendly (we tested it in another of our theme)
So the “trick” here is to label your menu items so they make sense. Its evident that repeating the same menu items is not good.
In your exemple, what about:
- About Me
—- Biography
—- Gallery
or
- Biography
— Discover
— Gallery
