im also still having major issues with the theme, im making changes and nothing is updating, when i delete something and update its still remains on the page.

Please note that issues related to the changes that are not applied on the front-end are not theme-related and always refer to the cache settings. Could you please specify can you see the changes applied after clearing the cache on the server? I can recommend you to contact your hosting provider regarding this issue, he should be able to change the cache settings on the server. Besides please make sure to deactivate the Cache plugins as they could also affect editing the site.

The latest theme update includes fix for the new WordPress 4.9 version, it also includes the latest Layer and Revolution sliders version and some other minor fixes.
Changelog will be updated shortly, appreciate your understanding. Yet also please note you can always see a list of updated files in each theme version in a readme.txt file. This file is located in theme root folder and is always updated with theme updates.

There is even not much we can advise, as we do not deal with server configuration, but usually for the correct theme installation and demo content importing we recommend to increase the memory limits by adding the following code to your .htaccess file (it is located in the root folder of WordPress installation – along with /wp-content, /wp-includes, /wp-admin) after # END WordPress line:
php_value post_max_size 64M php_value upload_max_filesize 64M php_value max_file_uploads 128M php_value max_input_vars 5000
and this code to your wp-config.php file after define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false); line:
define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '64M' ); define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '128M' );
You can also ask your hosting provider to increase max_execution_time to 300 on your server.
Also please note that some servers don’t allow to implement any changes in .htaccess, but still the theme can be successfully installed even without edits. In case you’re still experiencing any problems with the installation, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly for personal assistance.

I just downloaded a version of WP and this theme and am unable to get to the colors section. Not sure if there was a new wordpress update
To clarify, I can get to this section, however, nothing shows but a blank grey area
Well, this also occurs with the content tab of the general section.
I also took another look, and the colors section briefly shows and disappears. This is not the same for the content tab I mentioned above

Concerning the countdown – please note that it was created with the help of the Events Calendar Pro plugin: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/ that provides opportunity to add the Events Countdown widget. Please note that Events Calendar Pro plugin is not included in the theme package and should be purchased separately as this plugin is prohibited from third-party distribution. This situation is typical for many other plugins as well, like WooCommerce paid addons, WPML etc. This is a general practice that applies to all theme authors identically. Yes, content elements can be easily changed/edited according to your requirements, all the shortcodes are flexible and can be used for different post types. You can add any shortcode to any place within content area, there are no restrictions.
Please check this video demonstrating how easily shortcodes can be managed. It’s taken for another product from our portfolio, but general idea for My Religion theme is the same. We’d also kindly advise to check other videos under Features menu item to see other composer and overall theme options.

Hi, could you please help me figure out what relationship (if any) is there between “Profiles” and “Sermons”? Are “Profiles” independent custom post types or are they related to standard wordpress authors? If I create a Profile of a given author, is there a way to get a list of Sermons by that author on his Profile? Thanks!

Profiles and Sermons are custom profiles that can be used for different purposes: http://my-religion.cmsmasters.net/MINISTERS/jeremy-thompson/ http://my-religion.cmsmasters.net/sermon/we-do-not-lose-heart/In Sermons post type posts are posted using the username of the one who created the post. To have different Speakers I can recommend you to add different users with needed usernames and post the posts using appropriate user. For example you can create user Jeremy Thompson at your WordPress admin panel and add needed Sermons on his behalf, thus the speaker will be Jeremy Thompson. Another solution is to disable author in the Sermons Shortcode Settings and add the information about the speaker in the Sermon page simply as a content.

In fact Donation button links to the donation page by default, and donation form is generated automatically by the CMSMasters Donations plugin. If you need to change the link to your custom page please open my-religion/framework/function/template-functions.php file and edit 193 line – you need to delete the area that I pasted and entered needed link here.
Please note that after updating the theme there will be a need to move all the changes you made to the new version.
Another solution that I can recommend is to add the code below to Theme Settings – Elements – Custom Codes – Custom JavaScript field:
jQuery('.header_donation_but a').attr('href','http://your-url.net');
Or you can add your own button in the Theme Settings – General – Header – Header Custom HTML.

This answer works for the header donation button only. what I request is for campaign donation buttons. donate buttons for campaign still points to donation page set in the ‘donation’ settings page. please help
