In home page first and some sections we used visual shortcode generators to show maxumum usage of visual composer with shortcodes.
Click and open edit “Text Block” shortcode, add right side image url in “swmsc_image” shortcode “src” property. You can edit current button or delete button code and click on “Blue color plus” icon (toolbar right side) and then select “Button” shortcode from “Common Elements” sections. If this looks complex then you can create two column “2/3 + 1/3” and add image on right column and text/button on left from drag and drop elements list.

Hi there. While this may sound like a “Customization” question, it’s kinda not, ok, kinda. 
In the Gallery main page, this is a snapshot of the portfolio. which is great, but is there a way to have the Gallery link go to a “page” and not a portfolio?
I am just unable to get the portfolio page to do what I need it to do, but I can in a regular page. I guess what I am after is the location of the code for the title hyperlink (target=”_self”) to be (target=”https://....)
Would you lend a hand on this?

I have installed the theme and all is looking good, but the menus are a nightmare. Once they have been added they go all buggy and you can’t change any of the features except colour. I have to create a whole new menu. Has anyone else experienced this? What can I do?

You can use “Portfolio” from visual composer elements list to display latest portfolio items.
Go to edit page, click on backend editor,
click on “Plus” icon to add new element,
find “Portfolio” from elements list ( or from top navigation tab “Recent Post” to find it quickly).
Select necessary options in portfolio display popup box
and save changes.

Yes, you can add 3 portfolio items by setting post limit 3 in first option which will display latest 3 portfolio items.
I can not put the last items portfolio because I inserted them, first in chronological order of time :/ and I can not change them because on the site (page packages) must be in order

Please update theme with latest version in which we fixed sub header title color issue. You can edit it from customizer for all pages and for specific pages from page meta options.

I am about to upgrade WP to the latest version but I cannot update WPBakery Visual Composer as it is a third-part premium plugin. On their website, I could find the following:
“How to update and receive support if I do not purchase direct license? In such case you need to wait on your WordPress theme author to update WPBakery Page Builder (formerly Visual Composer) on their side and push it to you. Also support related questions should be addressed to your WordPress theme provider.”
Could you please advice how can I update the plugin also with new theme/wp update?

Hello again, I am now having a problem getting the menu to display properly on an iPad when in horizontal mode. The main menu appears below the top header bar, sat at the top of the slider images. It displays properly in portrait mode as a dropdown list in the top right hand corner. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

You can fix this issue with two way.
1) Go to admin > appearance > customize > top navigation > select “ON” mode for “Main Links with Minimum Width” option
This will help you to add more links
2) In same section set width for responsive menu from “Width At Which Menu Becomes Responsive” option.
This will fix below logo menu display issue.

Thanks for your speedy reply – however the only way it works i.e. the menu becomes a dropdown menu, is when I change the “width at which menu becomes responsive” to 1200.

Hi, I just installed the theme and imported the demo, but is not showing the pages content. The rev slider is ok, because I already imported them. Also I can see the menu and widgets. Please use available tags by wordpress in permalink structure because breadcrumbs code is written as per these tags like category, postname, day, month, author etc. We suggest you to remove “blog” word from structure or name it like ‘our-blog’ because this word could create issue with wordpress default blog structure/breadcrumb-script in the theme.

Many thanks for the quick reply however even with the following common permalink structure we are still getting an unwanted extra > > before the post name
/%category%/%postname%/So with the above it’s now:
Home > Blog Category Name > > Blog Post Title
If we add a value for ‘Header Title Text’ and a value for ‘Blog Page URL for Breadcrumbs’ within Blog Single Customisation options then the unwanted extra > disappears because the Header Title Text value goes between Category Name and Blog Post Title but this should be after Home and BEFORE the Category Name shouldn’t it so people can go back to whatever page we have set to be for Blog Posts in Wordpress e.g. /blog

We are agree with your point. Please replace current theme with just re-uploaded version 2.4.5 to fix this issue. If you don’t want to replace theme file then you can just change breadcrumbs.php file with new version file.
File path : ../wp-content/themes/kids-world/framework/breadcrumbs.php
You can edit it from admin > appearance > editor > right sidebar file name list—> click on “Framework” and find “breadcrumbs.php” file.

Many thanks again for the amazingly quick reply and support however even when using your suggested ‘our-blog’ for the blog permalink and Our Blog as Header Title Text instead of just ‘blog’ the breadcrumbs are now even worse as we now get

Also just realised if we save the blog page in WordPress as /news/ but don’t enter a value for ‘Header Title Text’ then we are now getting the following?

Finally, I have also noticed a new weird bug in this full version I just uploaded when going into Customizing > Sub Header the previous value or any value I now select for SUB HEADER – BACKGROUND and Background Color isn’t now working?
From investigating this further and comparing my site to your demo site it seems the customiser is now broken as no matter what settings I choose in Sub Header – other settings seem to be able to be changeable and saveable though?
On your demo I can see the following is coming from<style id="kidsworld_customizer_css_output" type="text/css">however when I make changes this is now not being updated?

I tested breadcrumbs by adding “ /our-blog/%category%/%postname%/ ” and in Customizer, it is displaying fine in breadcrumb like
Home > Our Blog > Category Name > Post Name
Please “Flush Permalink” by clicking multiple time “Save Changes” button in permalinks page.

Please check you uploaded “kids-world.zip” from admin and not main zip file ( KidsWorld-v2.4.5.zip) because this issue is generally coming with main zip installed.
I am doing a direct FTP over the old files and have also tried renaming the previous kids-world folder to kids-world.bak then uploading fresh files and issue still the same. Have sent export of settings in JSON via your profile link now.
We don’t see both errors on our test server. If we have ftp and admin login details then we can help to fix it.

Hello, I am trying to change the Sub header Title font colour, but when I attempt to do this through the Customiser it does not work – the font remains white and I need to change it. We are very sorry for your inconvenience. We found minor bug because Metabox plugin did some changes in recent version which was affecting metabox sub header title color with customizer sub header title color.
We fixed this bug and uploaded latest version 2.4.5. Please replace current version with new theme version to fix the issue.

Having still a proper webpage we generated a simple page and copied the original pages, which status is Draft:
Home_Kopie Bilder_Kopie Projekte_Kopie These pages had been the original pages which does not work anymore.
The “musical” page is available but not within the main menu anymore, but it should be activated again…;-)
Additionally there is a Backup available via the Plugin BackWPub but we are not that familiar if this will solve the problem.
Can you please give us a recommendation what to do?

I have great respect for Germany for many reasons. Hi Guys, unfortunately we cannot enter the page anymore. Is there a chance via FTP. All emails are not recognized and an error message says: “The password reset code could not be stored in the database.” What to do??? It was working 1 day ago, and I deleted the login immediately after you told me.

It is complex to return password, please ask your hosting company to retrieve login details. If you get/set forgotten password email then you can set new password. ( This is possible from website control panel, database table ).
