The permalink is based on WordPress. That’s the default one. We can’t change it. We have to follow WordPress permalink structure and it generates from WordPress. If you need to change it, you may need to find a rewrite rule plugin for it.

Hi, Rob! After the last update, apparently the function “switch-map” in listing header is not working: I click to see the map in the listing (it appear, ok) and I can’t go back to image header (remains in map). Could you check it there? P.S. I’ve uninstalled all the plugins to see if it was a problem with them, but it’s not.

That’s not from this update. It’s how it works. The image shows as a default and shows others. I think it works when you click others. That’s how it does.

I think I was not clear: when you click the icon “map”, at the listing’s header, the Map of that listing appears, right? So you click again and you see the featured image (or gallery etc.), I mean, you can go back where you were.
BUT, after the update, when you click the icon map (function switch-map), you can’t go back to featured image (or gallery). I’m just asking if you can check this.
I’m not supported and I really won’t to pay a support to fix some it’s not my fault. I kindly think you should check this, at least. Look: I’m, trying to work with your theme. I like it. But there’s a lot of things to improve in it. Today a find a new problem. And I think support is for user’s problems/questions, not to fix theme’s problems.

1) can add city sub-divisions, eg. “neighborhood” or “east side of city” (east side would contain several neighborhoods). And could visitor filter search based on this selecting desired area from a dropdown?
2) can have different search options for different categories? eg. Category 1: Conference Halls. filter options a) hall capacity – less than 100 – more than 100 b) room height – less than 3mt – more than 3m Category 2: Events planning agency. a) ....b)... of course supplier would have to be able to select this options when posting their profile

I hope I understand clearly.
1. It’s not possible in Javo directory. However, we have another directory theme which has “more taxonomies” addon. Then you can add more taxonomies and make them to be filtered in maps. Admin can setup more taxonomies ( categories or custom categories = neighber.. etc ) and you can set up them in backend for now.
2. You can find amenities can be changed by categories. Please have a look at our demo sites. amenities are different ( changed ) by categories you are choosing.

Hi! How to show in listing block (at home page, for example) and in listing the category “I” choose? After Lava Directory Manager’s update the search is working (thanks!), it is find two categories… ...BUT in listing only appears one category – in the most of cases, the “Parent” category. The problem is I want to chose what category have to appear (eventually, a “Child” category). I’m not understanding what is the pattern the plugin use to do the hierarch. Could you explain to me? Thanks in advance.
Obs. Apparently, it order and shows by Alphabetical Order. If yes, how to change to “my choose” order? (Or make one of them “primary”?)

I have talked to our developers. It’s basically supported only 1 category. not multiple. That’s why it shows a category.
Unfortunately, there is no option to choose “primary”. You have seen it from the 3rd part plugin which called yoast SEO plugin.
Please also check an update notice whenever we have an update or anytime, you can see the notice from WordPress or lava code.

Thanks for the kind reply. I’m really looking for a theme with this functionality. Javo would be perfect if the listings allowed that (shows 2 or more categories / or shows Parent and Child). Could you tell me if there are plans for this, or even for the Listopia theme?
P.S. I think this is a basic function to display in listings (at listing pages or even blocks), for both, Categories and Locations. Cause a listing can be a “Bar” AND a “Restaurant”, and can be in “USA” AND “Washington”. It must show everything…

Please deactivate all of the 3rd part plugins first to find if any plugins have conflict. If you have customized code, you also need to use the original theme. if the problem is from your customized code (if you did), then we can’t assist.

Today I am faced with another issue. I am using your booking and vendor addons and woo commerce plugins aswell. I have 7 bookeble product in the inventory however when I go for edit any listing It only shows 5 booking produck as alphebetical. I am not able to assign last booking product to related listing.
Can you please fix this problem urgently.

Hi, where is the doc for adding woocommerce product to a listing and moving the booking placement to the top of the page as a call to action? vids on youtube are out of date and ive installed the suggested woocomm plugins but I dont see the option in the listing to show or configure the product to display the calendar.
I’ve purchased and installed the required suggested wc addon plugins and still I’m unable to select the drop down product, previously created or newly created. why is that?

Hello! I really like the theme, but I’m having serious problems with the SEARCH (for “keyword” and “primary category”).
I have already seen several buyers of the theme complain about it here in the Forum.
What happens is:
1) The “keyword search” simply does not work! In nothing!
2) The option “make primary category” (in listing pages) also does not. When you “choose” one as “primary”, the plugin does not recognize and places the categories in alphabetical order. That is, it does not work.
I believe that offering these two options and not delivering to the buyer is a very serious matter … As a buyer I feel impaired.
I would like you to solve this in an future theme/plugin update.
See, this is not a question of “support”, ok? I do not want or asking for “support”. This is a key bug issue in the Lava Directory Manager plugin (yours), built into the theme. I do not like to misclassify the theme and the plugin, or complain to Envato. I need a common sense answer cause I am not able to use the theme as it was sold to me.

P.S. The same category problem occurs with “Locations”: I choose two places (like parent and child) and the theme recognize only one, in alphabetical order. If you click on the “parent” page, the “child” page does not appear, and vice versa.

It’s glad to hear that you like our product.
1. Keyword works fine. We haven’t heard any problems. if you have a problem, you need to provide your site information to our support team to have a look at your site.
2. You misunderstood this part. I think you have seen a comment about this in this forum. The answer is that “make primary category” is not our feature. That’s from the 3rd part plugin ( Yoast SEO plugin ). That means it’s for another propose which is for SEO. So it’s not a bug from our theme. Please deactivate the plugin and you will find it.
However, you should contact our support team for no1 and the better answers. You should not consider that all of comments in this forum are still problems or even was problems. Most of them are setting mistake or another issues.
Multiple category filter option will be updated in near future. but not locations. it doesn’t support multiple locations. Lava team ( not our tema) has worked on multiple category search options.

I have a few pre-sales questions about your theme:
1. Adding a list:
1.a. If adding a business is it possible to type the business name and have google to auto suggest business name and address? Then these two (business name and address can be stored in one or two differente fields.(google places API)
1.b. If adding a product, 1.a. applies but a field to store the product name should be required as well.
1.c. Is it possible to create custom fields, for instance, price (number) field or dropdown fields?
1.d Is it possible to create extra taxonomies in addition to “categories”?
2. Searching lists:
2.1 Is it possible to filter searches by inputting a street, city, state or country and get matches either: a. Within this Street, city, state or country? OR b. In a user defined radius from what the point google considers as this street, city, state or country?
2.2 Does the actual search field searches over custom fields, categories, other taxonomies (if the y exist), tags, etc.?
2.3 Can search fields be set to search over a specific customer field (e.g. price range over the price field)
2.4 Can searches be filtered based on specific values of dropdown custom fields (previously created and added with the listin)
3. Is there any events functionality. Can a date field be set in a listing and searches be performed based on a date range? If so, can the event be automatically deleted when the date passes.
4. Is there any multiple reviews system and can it be used as basis for searches, filtering or sorting?

1-a. Google map API, our data are different. It’s not possible. 1-b. Does product mean a listing? if so, you need to add a name. 1-c. Please have a look at addon link on this comment. you can find a custom field addon. 1-d. Not possible at this moment.
2-1. You need to use google map search. please test on our demo site with street name, zip code.. etc. 2-2, 3, 4. Searches are not working with custom fields. Please have a look at our test site or demo site.
3. Unfortunately, our event section is for just simple promotion part. it’s not working with date search or more.
