Hello!

You guys had an option where a user can apply for a job and submit his resume using his LinkedIn profile. Is that no longer available?

Best regards,

Paul

Hey Paul,

Hope you are doing well today!

Unfortunately, there currently is no option offered for WP Job Manager at this time.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

Kind Regards,

Fernando

Hi Fernando!

Thanks for getting back to me! I thought that it was there before. Even on their site, it seems the option to import from LinkedIn is no longer there…

You guys did have that though or am I mistaken?

There was an official plugin WP Job Manager sold, but they no longer sell it.

Fernando

Hi, do you have a html version. We would pay a lot more than the price of the wordpress version

Hello there,

Hope you are doing well.

Unfortunately, we do not have an HTML version of the theme. We only sell WordPress theme.

Sorry about that.

Kind Regards,

Fernando

i see the second example of using the theme an find a list of jobsearcher in this site. which plugin is used to show and search the candidates in the frontend or is it part of the theme? is it a paid plugin if is it?

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today and thanks for reaching out!

The Candidate feature is provided by the Resume Manager plugin. This plugin will allow you to add Candidates and allow users/employers to search them on our theme.

Hope this helps!

Fernando

Hello,

One of my clients bought this theme and I just set it up for them. However the option to register as candidate/employer not available when user clicked on “Sign Up” button. In the settings have set “Anyone can register”. What other option should I set? I import the demo content and everything else seems to work fine except for this part.

Thank you !

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today.

You will need to go to the Customize settings and add roles to be used by the Registration form. See under Customize> General ▸ Accounts.

If you need additional assistance, let us know through our Support Channel.

Hi does this item can work without plugins ? Or are they necessarily? Thanks!

Hello there.

Hope you are doing well today!

Absolutely! Our Jobify Classic Demo is a perfect example of the theme not using any premium plugins. Only our Extended demo uses Premium plugins.

Hope this helps!

Fernando

Does you theme has Email push notification for subscribers selecting specific job category & location Or Do we need to buy extra plugin for that ?

Hey there!

It is great to hear from you and I hope you are doing well!

Do you mean alerting them when a new job is submitted that matches their search criteria? This is possible when you integrate the Job Alerts Extension. Allows users to be notified when a new job is created that they would be interested in.

Hope this answers your question.

Fernando

Hello

Can someone help with that issue please ? Or maybe its a bug in the version ?

For some reason In the original format its appears that:

https://jobify-demos.astoundify.com/extended/resume/paul-richards/

And in my template its looks like this:

https://www.traveljobs.co.il/resume/igor-vilonski/

Changes the theme to english and still same issue, Can someone help with that ?

Thanks

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today.

Make sure you have set your Widget Location correctly on your Resume page. This will ensure that the page layout is set for your Candidates page. This is set under Apperance>Customize> Jobs (and Resumes) ▸ Resumes

If you need additional assistance, let us know through our Support Channel.

Hope this helps!

Hi there, is it possible to add subscriptions (3 options gold silver platinum i.e.) for employees seeking a job? Our users have to subscribe to our services so they can access the specific job listing. We also want the jobs only displayed once you become a member. However you have a 14 dys trial option to experience the website. Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today!

You can create a Subscription Package for Candidates to submit a Resume profile using the Resume Manager plugin . This will only allow users to Post a Resume Profile like in our Extended demo.

Aside from submission subscriptions, you can create Packages in order to charge a fee for the Jobs they can view using the Packages plugin/

Lastly, Submitting Jobs requires a user to create an account during a submission or can force users to create an account before seeing the submission form.

Let me know if you have additional questions.

There is also a lot of noise about SEO issues with your theme i.e none of the company pages has got “description” tag in them. Is there any plan to address these SEO issues?

Hi again,

As mentioned above, the original purpose of the Companies plugin is to display a list of Companies. This is more to do with the plugin and not the theme.

As mentioned, there is always room for improvement and hope to address these issues.

Kind Regards,

Fernando

I have been looking at your site demo for a while now and very much interested to buy but I have found the following issue;

https://jobify-demos.astoundify.com/extended/company/Dolby%20Laboratories/

The above URL shows ‘%20’ in the company name slug; Is there a way to replace ‘%20’ with a hypen ’-’ in the slug?

I believe this is a bad SEO practice, your comments please?

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today!

We are aware of this. Currently, the Companies plugin is just a way to output a list of all companies that have listed Jobs on your website.

We are aware that it can be improved and we hope to improve it and better incorporate it with WP Job Manager.

Right now the only way to hyphenate the name of the company on the slug is to hyphenate the Company name. This is something we are aware of also.

Kind Regards,

Fernando

Hi on full width page templates jetpack comments don’t show up. On page with sidebar jetpack comments show up. On both layouts share buttons don’t show. Is this normal for the template?

Mh, frustrating. All the maps are not working again: https://ecourbanhubjobs.com/job-map/

I cannot find the causing problem.

Comment: Api from google of course entered. It was working before for a certain time.

Hello there,

Thanks for reaching out.

It looks to be working when I view the page: https://cloudup.com/ckSmt00cPb0 If you need assistance with this let me know and we can take a look through our support channel.

Job Manager-Company Profiles- company index page lists the jobs by company A-Z, but does not list companies whose names begin with numbers. How do I include company names beginning with numbers in the company index?

Hello there,

Thanks for reaching out!

At this time, it will only display Companies that start with a Letter and not a number, unfortunately. This is something we can look into, though.

Kind Regards,

Fernando

Hi,

On the following screenshot: https://prnt.sc/hq4wgy can the “apply for job” button can be changed by “buy”. Meaning, does your theme support payment and can I easily add a payment button here? As I want to sell each job opportunity.

Thanks in advance, this is an urgent project.

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today.

Unfortunately, there is no built-in feature to sell your jobs. Users can only apply for jobs as there is no Buy a job feature. You can charge to post jobs using the WC Paid Listings plugin.

Hope this answers your question.

Kind Regards,

Fernando

Hi guys, I’ve requested a refund as the theme isn’t viable for the project I had in mind, I messaged you quite some time ago now, please can you respond? Many thanks, Ben

Guys, still nothing on this? I’d really appreciate a quick resolution on this. Thank you, Ben

Very disappointed, being completely ignored here.

Hi again,

Sorry for the delay. We have been off for the holidays. I followed up with Adam and he will be looking into this.

Sorry once again,

Kind Regards,

Fernando

Hi Where can I Find the listify_comment callback for the wp_list_comments function?

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today.

Sounds like your question is regarding our Listify theme. This is our Jobify Pre-sales area. If you have questions regarding Listify, please submit a support ticket over at our Support Channel.

Kind Regards,

Fernando

pre sale question

1. what is the region means when creating a resume? what is the region means when creating a job?

2. if i buy this theme and use the extended demo template. do I also need to buy the other wp job manager addons for the other functions to work or its not necessary buying the addons? if yes what specifically the addons name i need to buy in wp job manager to use the extended demo template?

Also, I created an employer account in the demo. is it right that the candidate account, as well as the employer account, can post a job as well as can submit a resume right? and can manage both resume and job posting right?

Hello there,

Thanks for reaching out today!

1)Think of Regions as a way to organize your Jobs and Resumes By a Region. Similar to Categories. Regions will allow you to Categorize Jobs/Resumes by a Location.

2)Our Extended demo does use additional plugins. They are not required but do add additional features. You can see the list of plugins here.

3)There are not built in Restrictions and if a user wishes they can submit a Job and Resume. You can also manage them both. You can by default hide menus based on user role. Allowing you to hide one of the forms based on the user’s role.

Hope this helps!

Fernando

Hi,
Can I split commissions with companies through the plugin mentioned on Marketify?
Thanks,

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today.

With our Marketify theme you can use the Commissions plugin for commissions. Unfortunately, it will not work with Jobify.

Kind Regards,

Fernando

Hello,

I need to know how this listing map markers are mapped on google map? What I have to do if want to mark other post_types on maps?

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today.

Unfortunately, only Jobs and Resumes appear on their respective maps. It is not possible to integrate additional post types into the map. This will require Advanced modifications to be done to the theme to display additional map markers for these post types.

Sorry for any inconvinience,

Fernando
