It seems like Fildisi does not serve scaled images in the blog masonry view or any other blog view and instead resizes featured images via CSS? Is this right? This is very bad for website loading times. Maybe this is a feature that you would like to implement in a future release?

I think that you are missing something here. Fildisi provides the functionality to place the proper image sizes on every single element. You can check it by yourself in our live demo – http://euthemians.com/themes/fildisi/

1) Yes, you can copy and use shortcodes in the top bar.
2) There is no built-in option for this. Just to know that in terms of speed it is not recommended to host Google fonts on your own server.

Is there a way to modify /includes/eut-header-functions.php using child theme?
The specific function I would like to modify in that file is fildisi_eutf_print_logo(). In functions.php, the require_once get_template_directory().’/includes/eut-header-functions.php’; does not check if function exists ( if(function_exists(function)) ) therefore getting a function re-declare error when declaring in child theme. Is there another way to do this?

This is literally one of the best themes I have ever used – thank you. I do have to ask however can the white background color be removed from the Responsive Header Menu? I would like for it to be transparent on mobile.

Almost all color options are located under Appearance > Customize. Under Colors – Header/Menu > Colors – Responsive Header you can change the responsive header color.

You should set opacity to 0%. If you want to have header overlapping in responsive mode, you could enable the relevant option under Appearance > Theme Options > Header Options > Responsive Header Options.

I find it strange in your demo when 5 column masonry you use full width but for 4 columns suddenly there is too much space on left & right. Also, there is too much space between columns, limiting the text we can put inside. Can I expect any improvement in the next release or you feel justified? Otherwise an excellent theme I must say!

If you check this article http://docs.euthemians.com/tutorials/how-to-use-the-portfolio-element-in-fildisi/ you will notice that you can specify the number of columns per device. For us, our designer decides on how these pages must look like in the official demo.
If you need to send me a related URL from our demo, please remove the top bar switcher before you copy the link. Otherwise it always redirects to the home page.

Hey so I am ready to buy this theme and looking to incorporate elements of the different homepage styles throughout the website(not just for the homepage). One of the things is being able to use the Full width video on another page and add the ability to shop on that page under the video with the products laid out underneath. Would something like this be possible? Maybe via woocommerce product shortcodes etc.? Also what is the customizability like for someone who knows how to code?

Sure you can combine any of the elements you see in the content of the demo pages on any page you wish. You can easily have a full-width video on the top of your page and via the Product element, your products. The customizability of Fildisi is much more higher than you can imagine even if you do not have any code skills.

Hi there! This is a pre-sale enquiry please. Is your theme 100% compatible with the combination of Wordpress 4.8.2 and Woocommerce 3.2? I mean 100% compatible, straight out of the box, without having to edit/modify Woocomerce templates. COuld you confirm please. ps: I’m only asking beacause I’ve bought two templates who claimed compatibility with Woocommerce 3.2, but their templates were based on 3.0 and on installing 3.2, some elements are broken due to changes in templates within Woocommerce 3.2, requiring the user to manually edit woocommerce template files, which I do not want to do.

Allow me to clarify a couple of things about the outdated WooCommerce templates. Firstly, when a theme overrides the WooCommerce templates does not mean that there are compatibility issues. Once a new WooCommerce version comes in, some issues could appear related to the plugin itself, and authors should work on fixing those details. You (customer) should wait until theme author’s announcement about the compatibility with the latest Woo release – http://euthemians.com/themes/updates/fildisi/. For example, there will be an update for Fildisi in the next hours in which we will also update (after checking) Woo theme templates (for version 3.2). Shortly, it is always recommended to follow theme author’s scheduled updates. In case that you are looking for a theme that just overrides the WooCommerce CSS rules, Fildisi is not.
