Hi There, I bought the Theme late last year and have loved working with it thus far. I would like to use the before and after addon for Slider Revolution, is there a way for me to do this with the default slider installation? Thanks.
Hi first thank you for the purchase. I don’t fully understand what you mean by “before and after addon”.
The theme comes with Slider Revolution included, and you can use it freely with all the items that are included.
If you want to add plugins and more options to it you should purchase them separately because if they are not already available in the theme they are not included.

It is free with an activated version of slider revolution, like the particle effect slider that you use. The version that is bundled with does not have have an activation code included to allow me to make use of the free add-ons.
Hi, the license used by me to provide you the SR plugin for free doesn’t allow to include add-ons. You must get a separate regular license for the SR plugin in order to use the add-ons provided.
I will look into this more for the next update of the theme if something is changed and is possible to include add-ons from that type.

One more thing. Your VIDEO demo, on Themeforest looks to charge slow and at the begining video does not run. Does your video version have problems with speed/download?. Regards

Is it possible to have a full width row with a parallax background, but the content in the grid? If I put a row in a row, the inner row doesn’t let me choose the row type.
Is there maybe a class that I can use to have the content in the grid?

Currently, that is only possible with a background color, but not with parallax and image.
If I use two or more Feature Boxes in one row, they are not aligned because of the float:left; Here’s some CSS I’d recommend to add in order to have Feature Boxes properly aligned:

That’s not possible. A link can’t do two things at once.
For that to work you should have your blog in a separate wp installation with another set of links back to one page setup. For example using a subdomain blog.mydomain
I’m sure this answer is meant for my previous question.
Well, I don’t want a link to do two things, but I expect the theme to be programmed in a way, where the menu links works on both (one pages & static pages)
Definitely not going to change my blog to a subdomain.
Your answer tells me that this is not possible with your theme and I need to find a solution myself. I will look to figure it out myself.
Oh, I’ve missed the second question – for the page title the settings are in Theme Options > Blog > Blog Page TItle, here change the size to large.
P.S. for the first question you can also install separate WP in a subfolder instead of a subdomain – yoursite.com/blog

So you advertise a one page with a blog in your demo, but there’s no way to get back to the front page (one page) via menu. Is that correct?

Good day, when I’m using a onepage, all my menu links are #link. But when I now move to a static page, that is not part of the onepage menu, let’s say website.com/blog then the links in the menu don’t link back to the onepage. The link looks like website.com/blog#link … How can this be fixed?

The links in WordPress work the way you write them to work if you add ID instead of actual links they will do that – try to go to that ID.
Try making the links: website.com#link so they go back and scroll to a certain section.
P.S. This is not really a theme problem and is not even a problem the links do what you told them to do.

Okay, I’ll try to explain it again. Here’s my website link: http://lavieestunart.fr/
- I have a one page (front page) and a blog page (static page).
- The one page menu is working well. All links look like #link1 #link2 and they’re perfectly showing the right section on the front page and linking to the correct sections. All good here.
- When I’m on the blog page (http://lavieestunart.fr/blog) I have the same menu. Links look like http://lavieestunart.fr/blog#link ... which of course, doesn’t result in going back to the front page.
- There’s no option to choose a second menu
- If I change the link in the menu to e.g. http://lavieestunart.fr/#link or http://lavieestunart.fr#link or just /#link then the menu on the one page doesn’t work anymore.
So how can I have a one page and my blog with a working menu?

The theme is not compatible with WooCommerce or other eCom plugins, and it doesn’t say anywhere that it is.

Hi there, make sure you unzip the main folder (the one that you’ve download), then the item that should upload as a theme is called definity.zip and is inside the main folder.

Hi there, first thanks for the purchase and the good words.
There is a way to hide the date for ALL the posts, but for a specific page, there is no simple solution.
More creative solution to this would be to add ID to the row from visual composer (if the page is built with it), then target that ID and target the blog posts inside and hide that date with CSS (display: none;)
This would require small theme editing, so you should activate the child theme and write the edits there.

Thank you [again] for your help… I will give that a try.
One odd thing we’re noticing… If you use the SEARCH feature in the top nav, it returns CODE text in the excerpts of the pages it finds [but not the posts].
For instance, if you search for “surgery” you’ll get several results… both pages and posts… But for the pages listed in the results, there is [mostly] CSS code where there should be an excerpt from the page’s text. The pages are built using WPBakery so I’m thinking that’s putting CSS code somewhere that the Wordpress search engine is picking it up… thoughts?

Yes, this is because of the Visual Composer. Unfortunately, this is not an easy fix and it requires more time to be fixed, hopefully by the next update (should be out soon).
In the meantime, I would advise to disable the search field or install a plugin with search functionality.

Your link is from the HTML version, currently, the WordPress version of Definity doesn’t have WooCommerce, but is planned for future updates.

Hi, I need help with my website. I tried to l edit a page built with Visual Composer, and it froze. None of my media grids in VC are displaying, and when I try to update VC it says I don’t have a valid license. Do I need to buy a license for VC? Will it work out of the box? I see other commenters asking similar questions. Please help!
Actually, deactivating and reactivating the plugin and updating it in a batch with other plugins seems to have done the trick somehow, and I’m back in business. Hope this helps somebody else!

Hello, a great year 2018 and thank you for this wonderful theme. My problem is this: when I want to manage the homepage on the wordpress interface, I see in the “page attributes”options, on the right side, 3 propositions that are: “default template”, “slider revolution blank template” and “visual composer”.
When I choose “default template”, the slider appears as an article and therefore does not display in full screen. when I choose the mode “slider revolution blank template”, the display is correct but my top menu disappears as well as the footer … I said that I started designing the site without downloading the page templates you offer … so I need your help. I hope I have been clear in my explanations. thx Titok

You should select Visual Composer for every page that you build with Visual Composer (Page Builder).
For full-screen width elements – in row settings select full width.
Also, be sure to check the Help file that comes with the theme (in the main folder).

Hi first, good job on the website, it looks great.
That is implemented in the update that should come out but, is a big update v2.0 and the menu system is completely rewritten.
For now, there is no option for that from the theme, but you can write custom JS that makes your links instead of working as links to add a class that triggers the menu to close. Use chrome inspector when you press the hamburger menu to see how it works.

Hello Victor. I recently purchased your theme, installed it and also the demo content. Now i have the the problem, that no matter what i do, the MEGA MENU does not work correctly. I read the documention, did everything correctly i think. The problem is, that HOVER does not work. The only thing that is working is the colour change when i set to Mega Menu Dark. Also it seems there are some problems with the new Mozilla browser in the Backend. f.i. when I try to set a link on a portfolio item, I land in the BLOG section. I also got the SAVE problem when i edit something. It saves, but the save button is not “visually pressed”. Other browsers seem to work correctly. I have sent you and email.

There is a small bug with the menu that shows when certain settings are applied, this is already fixed, but the update is not released yet.

Yes, SR does that sometimes, just login via FTP, navigate wp-content >plugins>reslider, and delete the folder revslider.
Then via WP admin panel install the SR plugin again.

HI there, first read the guide in the help file about importing sliders. Then re-download the theme, find the desired slider in the assets folder and try importing it again.

Hi there, to enable mega menu to show on hover, navigate > WP dashboard > Appearance > Menus > Max Mega Menu Settings > Event > select Hover.

This sounds like a problem with your installation and the WP database but first, make sure you have the latest version of the theme installed and all recommended plugins.
I would recommend to delete the theme and the plugins that come with it, re-download the theme again from ThemeFoerst, install it and activate it, and install all the plugins that come with it – then check again for the problem.
If the problem still persists, please share the WP admin credentials and FTP access so I can inspect the problem in more detail (via email).
