You can change border layout via Customize / Site Settings / Appearance / Site Border. There is no options to hide border, but you can make it transparent via color settings or hide it via custom css if you have coding skills.
Thanks for your response. Meanwhile I made it transparent. But I would prefer to delete it completely via Custom CSS. But I don’t know what I have to do.

But some theme elements have padings or margins for border and will be look not good. You will also have to adjust the widgets and test the theme. I’m not sure that everything can be adjusted in the widget settings, because the theme was not tested without a boarder. It may be necessary to adjust some elements using CSS also. It is may be not very simple if you not familar with CSS.

I updated WP and downloaded the newest update from my downloads (14699984). Nothing is showing up when I go to customize theme. Is there a new update that I need to get so I can use the theme?
Skrollex is tested with latest version of WordPress and works ok. Try to update Lawers also or try to disable all third-party plugins and see error messages in the server error log.
I upgraded my Wordpress.com account to business so that I would be able to upload this template. However, when I try uploading I get an error that reads “problem uploading theme” I saw that the documentation requires downloading Layers, I downloaded it but I still have this problem. Just to be clear before I continue searching through tons of tutorials, this theme works on Wordpress.com, correct?
Hi, my charging website time is slow. I use W3 Total Cache to optimize. I tried with default settings and i haven’t good performance. Do you have way to optimize minify scripts or any others ways to speed it? Nota : Pictures are compressed.. Thx Sofiane
You can use WordPress plugins to minify files. Also CDN services can minify files, for example CloudFlare, but most important is to optimize images. You can use WordPress plugins to restrict of image resolutions and for compression optimization.

Skrollex is not tested with this plugin. Simplest way to make multilingual site is to use WordPress in the multisite mode. Skrollex tested with this mode and works ok.

I would like to know how to add a custom layers template/ custom footers to my website if you can provide me with some documentation on how to correct way add a custom template/custom footer.
You can change common elements (footer, blog header, sidebars etc) via Customizer in the same way as you change the content.. Open page with element wich you want to change via Custom, then you can change the layout of this element via left panel. Changes of common elements will be applyed to all pages which contain this element.
I’m sorry I should have specified that I am fully aware of how to develop within the layers UI to “create” a footer. My true goal is to have a -unique- footer for my layers template, or if there’s a way to copy the entire template so I can have a “custom” footer within the new template for landing pages.
I’m not sure that I understood your question correctly. Only one footer supported in the Skrollex, but if you want to create your own WordPress template for theme you should read WordPress documentation about theme development.
Simplest way is to copy/paste existing template from Layers to Skrollex and change get_footer(); to something else.
I already update Layers and themes , still I cannot find gear for changing colors, I have try using firefox, chrome,ie, also via my Tab device (for touch screen), any solution for this, thank you

Try to disable all third-party plugins. Errors which I see in the browser console are not related with theme.
I tried that too but I didn’t do the Skrollex Extension since that is what operates the page builder in the customizer? I see a lot of errors only in the backend when I am editing in the customizer, the front-end is fine and fast, I only see just 2 minor errors in the console. I just don’t know why it is being so slow in the customizer, there’s got to be a way to speed it up. Is it slow on your end?

If this does not help you, then post the messages that you see in the administration panel and in the server error logs.
Also your front-end runs slowly on weak devices due to the large number of sections on one page.
In addition, you should optimize the images. Keep it mind that high resolution images not only slow down page loading, but also require more browser resources to process them, which can slow down the browser. Decrease image resolutions and optimize images via compression before uploading to WordPress. Also you can use WordPress plugins for fix already uploaded images or use plugins for decrease image resolution automatically in uploading process.
Keep in mind that if the image is displayed in its full size, not like thumbmail, then WordPress does not optimize it by default and gives it to the browser as it is.

Simplest way is uninstall old version and install new version or just overwrite theme files via FTP.

I purchased the skrollex theme and I have some problems. Maybe you can help me.
- The gear icon not appeared in my customize display. I have looked for the “customize-panel” file in the theme .zip and is not present. I have not errors when i check the navigator console - I installed the 2.1 skrollex update and i have 2 menus when my display is on tablet or mobile. Whereas when i was with the 2.0, all it’s ok. Do you have any ideas to fix it ? (I updated Layers WP) - I check my website with many navigator. Chrome / IE / Firefox all updated o On my laptot (Windows 10 64b, touchscreen DELL inspiron 13-5378) the parallax and animations works on IE and don’t works with Chrome and Firefox o With others Windows 10 laptops, IE, Firefox and Chrome work’s. Do you have heard to talk yet this problem ?

About the menu. Initially, Skrollex had two menus. Main and extended, and they should be displayed on all devices. Unfortionly since some version of Layers it began to work incorrectly. I did not immediately notice that it depends on the version of the Liers. Now, on all versions of Layer, it works the same way. If you need only one menu, just delete the extended menu. The main menu will be shown on mobile devices via gamburger button.
About the animation. So it was always. Animation is disabled on mobile devices due to performance reasons. Unfortunately there is no reliable way to distinguish a mobile device from a device with a touch screen, in Chrome and Fairfox. You can only enable animation on all devices. For this you need to add this code code to Customize / Site Settings / Additional Scripts / Custom Footer Scripts:
jQuery(function(){ Modernizr.touch=false; });
But keep in mind that this is not sufficiently tested.

- I want increase the font size with the “page title” and “header title” in my homepage section however my texte is limited. When i write one word, the text is more big than what i write two words. I checked differents possibilities but nothing works. Example: « EXPERTS “(size big) vs « EXPERTS DATA » (size decreased) . In mine mind, i want a big text in my homepage.

Please check the version of Skrollex. Last version is 2.2. Also update Layers to last version. If it is not help you, please perform next checks. Have you gear icon problem in the Microsoft Edge or IE? Have you this problem if you enable animation in the mobile devices? If yes, then see error messages in the server error log, if no, then most likely you have not last version of Skrollex.
About text size. Please post link to your page.
I found the gear icon problem. I looked with my web hosting (1&1). When i build a new WP, i had 2 WP management types. Managed mode (my provider update my web hosting automatically) or Default mode (i do my own updates with webhosting full rules). I switched on the default mode and done ! The gear icon appeared. About text size. You have Fit Text effect. Change the Header Effect to No on the right toolbar of SX Section.

It is depends on device size. On small devices it will be displayed on one column. Default behavior can be changed only via custom css if you have coding skills.

Simplest way is to ununstal the old version, then instal the new version.

Please see error messages in the browser console. Most likely your Google Map API Key is not specified in the site settings. Check Customize / Site Settings / Additional Scripts.
