How do I get this working with PHp8

After the integration of our theme we opted for the left alignment of the menu with icon, but there is a problem of navigation however, when we change the display option of the menu everything works perfectly. Hi 2035Themes, Last update 2nd of Jan 2018, more than a year ago. WP4.9.x ready but WP5.0 running now.

Is it wise to purchase this theme at the moment? I would like to run it in WP5.0 and great if future general technical problems (like the broken autoplay I read about above) will be looked after for at least a year.

The theme is really what I need at the moment, but fear it will not work on WP5 or will be discontinued technically on your side.
