Hello, I’m interested in buying this theme. However, I have a few questions.
A) Does it require to install the BuddyPress plugin ourselves? And, is this difficult to configurate?
B ) Can we use the theme without the pricing table? So it would be free for everyone. If yes, can we easily implement this after a few months?

Hi. When I have the Aardvark Plugin activated my forum shows all my site pages instead of the Forums and Categories. When I disable the plugin everything shows correctly. Suggestions???

Let me explain my question further. For example: User 1 invests $100 and User 2 invests $200. At the end of the month, User 1 has a profit of $4 and User 2 has a profit of $8.
User 1 and User 2 can both see their investments profits when they login to the account.
So, can I update the profit amount for each individual user with this theme?

As I say the theme doesn’t have this functionality. But you could easily display profit information for the user when they login depending on how the investment data is being stored.

I’m not really familiar with any investment management plugins (that would be a very specialised plugin). I suggest Googling this and if one exists you’ll find it fairly easily.
If said plugin stores the investment data as custom fields, then small customizations to the site should allow you to display this data on the site. That said, if such a plugin exists it will probably do this out of the box for you.
Hi, I have a pre-sale question. So, i want a membership site for an investment platform, where members can join using their usernames and passwords (by invitation only), and see their dashboards.
In the dashboard, they will be able to see the amount they invested, and their daily profits. Is there a way for me to update profits for each member individually?
Also, on the home page login area. Can I remove the REGISTER button, because people are not allowed to register. I can only create accounts and give them their usernames and passwords.

The theme does not have any functionality for tracking users investments/profits – do you have a plugin for this already? Otherwise this is likely something you’ll need to integrate into the theme yourself or using a developer.
You can easily remove the Registration button from the header.

1) The theme doesn’t have this functionality but you can use a multi vendor WooCommerce extension to add this.
2)
a) Yes you will need to purchase the Sensei plugin – although you can download it for free here: https://github.com/Automattic/sensei
b) By default this only allows people with access to the backend to post courses. You can use a plugin such as Capability Manager to give users permissions to post courses from the backend.
2 a) this plug in that i can download for free is the same with that at 127$ b) what you mean by backend (i m relative new to this )
a) Yes it is. However you should buy a subscription because it enables access to updates and support for one year from the date of purchase. Every site installation requires a subscription key.
b) Backend is the admin panel as opposed to the frontend which is the site which your visitors see.

Hello, Does the Aardvark theme include a directory and if so why isn’t it working on the demo? Is it possible to integrate a directory with membership, forum, courses and etc. Basically, all of the different themes functionalities within one site?

Hello, considering purchasing this theme. Tested the original demo and have some questions / requests. 1.) I could upload pics and mp3/mp4 into member’s media portfolio (as long as each file is smaller than 2.4 MB); but I would like members to be able to upload other file types such as MS Word, PPT, pdf… is it going to be possible and to shows thumbnails for those projects? Possible to add titles/ mini description to the uploaded media items, below their thumbnail? 2.) Is it possible to add ‘Share’ and ‘Social media’ buttons to each member’s profile? 3.) Is it possible to rename profile categories, such as Media, to Projects? 4.) In member’s profile, in Mobile view, is it possible to remove hamburger Navigation and instead reveal all items (activity, profile, friends, groups, media) without having to click navigation? And then make Media (eventually renamed to Projects) the default item in the Show: drop down menu. Currently it is set to Everything. 5.) Is it possible to ‘Like’ and ‘Comment’ on each individual project? And then keep a tally of number of views and likes (appreciations)?

It is nearly exactly what I want but that theme is very poorly supported.

a) The size limit if handled by your server – you can ask your host to increase this.
b) The theme uses rtMedia plugin to upload content. The premium add-on supports these additional formats: https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/buddypress-media/
c) I’m not sure about this, I suggest asking rtMedia.
2) You can create social media fields and display them in the user profile, but not as buttons. This is something I will implement in the next theme update. As for a share button – what would this share?
3) This is added by the rtMedia plugin, it can be done with a small code edit apparantly as described here: https://community.rtcamp.com/t/change-media-tab-name-and-image/3916/2
4) You can do this with CSS changes.
5) What are you referring to when you say “project”? If you want to use posts or a CPT for your projects the theme supports the WordPress Popular Posts plugin which adds a view counter to each post and has a built in up/down like feature.
I see what you’re trying to achieve and you’re unlikely to get it exactly the same as that theme without a fair bit of customisation which you can choose to do yourself or I could do for you.

1.Forum leads to Error 404 Page not found – but the functionality is built in and will work for me?
2. Are you planning on implementing Newsletter email subscription box (w Captcha if possible) built into the main page or the footer?
3. Does the theme have a FAQ page?
4. Does the theme offer any customization options for the shop, without me needing CSS? Such as product Photo change to another on mouse hover, making changes to grid’s number of columns, adjusting/ removing the side bar, etc.

1) This has now been fixed.
2) There are no plans to integrate this into the theme because plugins do this better. A plugin like MailChimp for WordPress will integrate a subscription box into your website.
3) The theme doesn’t have a preset FAQs page, but you can easily create one with the theme using all the available WPBakery page builder elements e.g. toggle boxes.
4) You can adjust/remove the sidebar on store pages. There are plans to add hover images and column control in a future update.
