Bit of a problem with the mobile version. If you tap the menu, and the menu is long, you want to scroll which shows the fixed menu. But with the fixed menu, you can’t scroll.

I see the issue. You also have a plugin that pops an offer up from the bottom and it covers half the screen, making it more difficult to see the drop down menu. However, even without that popup, I can see that if you had a long drop down it might be difficult to view. If you close that menu and use the sticky menu drop down then it works well. I’ll review this issue with our developers to see how we can make this more accommodating with longer menu items. I’ll get back to you asap. Thank you for letting us know.

I’ve purchased your theme and I need to translate it. Is it WPML compatible? Also, about the Booked plugin, the version installed is 2.0.5 but latest version 2.0.8 addresses some major translation bugs. I tried to update it but is says there are no newer versions. Can you check this?

We are a travel agency based in southern Turkeuy and we are renting holiday villas. We are now looking for a new theme for our redesign Project. We liked your theme but we need following questions just to be sure if this theme can provide all the functions we need. Could you please answer following questions to find out?
- Customer should be able to purchase “extra services” with their reservation or aftwerwards like airport transfer, car rental, daily excursions, catering and baby crib etc.
- We need website to work on TR, EN and RU so it should be wpml compatible.
- We definetely need wocommerce as the customer will make purchases. And we need credit card and bank transfer options as payment methods. I believe this is an existing woocommerce function.
- Customers should be able to pay in their currency of choice of Turkish Lira, Euro, Dollar or Pounds. Is this an existing function of woocommerce or do we need an extra plugin?
- We need terms & conditions pages for customers. I believe this is something can be done and set in woocommerce.
- We need deposit payment function too. Customers will pay determined percentages of full price fort he reservations made in 10 weeks and before, 10 to 8 weeks, 8 – 6 weeks adnd etc.
- We need 3 different login roles:
1. Admin login: This role is for us. With this we should be able to manage content, reservations, users and e-commerce. This is substantial function with all the wordpress themes. So, there’s nothing to worry about this role.
2. Service provider login: This role is for the villa owners. We don’t own all the villas. We also rent out others’ villas. So, with this role, villa owners should be able to view check in and check out detail, extra services purchased, payment details and transfer details. This role only need to view these details. They are not to edit anything. All we need is to Show indicated details to this role on their account page.
3. Customer login: This role is for the customers who rent villas for their holidays. They should be able to check availability of the villas, make reservations, make payments and change/edit their reservations on their account page. I believe this is also substantial wih many themes. The booking system in Embark will book up to a full day, whereas we have another theme for nightly bookings:

That’s great, because you need the #3 Customer Login, ability to “change/edit their reservations on their account page.” I’m thinking the WP Booking System might be a bit out of scope but the theme works great with most WordPress plugins, so if you find a booking engine you like, you can use it with Bellevue If you run into any issues, please let us know. The theme includes everything you need to recreate all of the functionality shown in the demo – you can accept bookings, take payments, setup an online shop, and more.
There are Pro versions available for 2 of the plugins (Elementor and Formidable) but they are optional.

i want to keep hourly appointments and have customers pay straight away, do i have to validate them before payment is taken?
also if i have separate calendars lets say i have 3 – with hourly appointments for each. after multiple appointments are made for one day, from each calender – do they show on the same appointments calendar in the admin section?. im referring to the booked plugin admin page ‘Appointments’

Yes, you can book per day or per hour and have the customer pay immediately. You won’t have to validate them unless there is something specific you want to check. If you have 1 time slot per hour, it will only allow 1 booking for that hour.
They should show on the same list for the user / profile page (I believe) but in the admin, I think you may need to toggle between each calendar.

A tour can be led by many tour guides. Can I manage customers and guides if I buy it?

Hello! Thanks for your interest. Yes, you can manage this via timeslots / seats which is built in to the booking system so you never overbook . There is a caveat though, if you are using the payment module with WooCommerce and you want people to be able to pay for multiple guests at once, the seats will only be reduced by 1 per order, but you should be able to use the WooCommerce product inventory to circumvent anyone overbooking. I think we’ve got you covered either way. If you run into any issues, our support team is the best.

Hi, I am very pleased with the theme.
Two things are not going well: The month name and the text on the button of the calendar is very, very small. I can not make it bigger with custom css apparently. I have tried to add code: .booked-calendar-wrap.small .booked-appt-list .timeslot .timeslot-people button .button-timeslot { letter-spacing: 0.01rem; display: block; font-weight: 600; font-size: 1.2rem; }
The orignal size was 0.8rem but this does not seem to work. I don’t find a way to change it and the documentation of the booked plugin does not help nor provides contact details.
The biggest problem is that the processing of the add to chart does not stop even when the items were added to the cart. When I book a tour, the items are added to the cart but the page keeps on being processed (the turning thing keeps on turning): you can try it http://socialme-demo.be/tour/family-tapas-tour-madrid/
A third question: it seems that the tour is booked when they they fill their cart. But that does not mean they will pay. Is there an automatic solution to book only when the payment is done based on a status of the payment or do we keep the booking pending and only approve when we check the payment? This wil mean some manual work for us…

Does it work with beaver builder?
We have not specifically tested Beaver Builder with the Embark theme. The theme was designed to be used with the Elementor builder which includes some custom widgets that we created to include all of the features shown in the live demo. We think you’ll really like Elementor!

Does it work with Woo commerce elements?
Our theme supports WooCommerce and the standard functionality works very well.
There is also Elementor Pro which includes additional WooCommerce features, but that is a separate purchase. Elementor Pro does not have an extended license so no WordPress themes are able to bundle it with purchase.

Our Embark theme includes Booked which is a booking system designed for same-day bookings. It works very well for appointments, tours, really any time slots up to one full day. I am looking for a theme to do the following:
A home page where the user can choose the city and number of persons (or child). Every city have its own main page with a list of diferent tours or experiences (in the chosen city) with the prices. The user pick the tour/experience, pick a date and pay it through paypal or credit card
Can the user pick several tours in an “add to cart”?

1. You can setup as many separate calendars as you like, so you could create pages for each city and have a different calendar on each one. You could also list the tours for each city and have calendars there.
2. Yes users can choose a date and the tour (a couple of options for that) and then pay via PayPal, credit, etc – many payment options can be setup.
3. Generally it is setup so that the user selects one tour and goes to checkout, but techincally it does get added to the cart so at the point the user can go back and add another to the cart before going to the checkout.

(1) Yes the booking form is customizable so you can add text stating that it’s minimum 2 adults, and then in the quantity select field you can have it start at 2 people
(2) There isn’t a specific option built into the Booked plugin for deposits, but it ties into WooCommerce for payments so you could use a WooCommerce add-on for that. Or you could just setup a product at the price of the deposit in WooCommerce.
pre-sales questions: I want to use this theme for a cycling tour company, that sells tours up to 15 days. In the calendar it is still not possible to choose the available range of 15 days? And I think for me it works best to only request a booking instead of actually going to the payment step, is that possible?
And another question, If I buy this theme I first want to use it in a test folder of my website. Is it easy to move it as the main page (which is now a WP site as well) without any issues?

Hello and thanks for your interest. The booking system has all day and timeslots however we also include form templates that runs on the Formidable plugin which is bundled for free. That could potentially work as an alternative. Also we have a plugin that comes with our other theme, Bellevue.
