Why demo data dont have sliders?

Please note that the sliders are imported separately, so you need to install the slider plugin and import the slider sample file. The theme comes with a demo slider content import file. You can find it in the Demo Content – Sliders folder. After you import it, you will have the same slider as we have on our demo, except that the background images will be absent and you will need to add your own instead. Our license does not allow us add background images to the download package, but all the other slider elements and settings, including timings will be imported.
In a case you experience difficulties with the demo content importing, please submit us a personal request here with relevant WordPress credentials and our support agents will be happy to help you with the theme set up.

Quick presale question: I love the theme as it is – except for two things in the mobile view:
1) Is it possible to move the “menu” icon from the top left to below the logo? My potential customer would prefer for the logo to be centered – and that is obviously only possible when the menu icon is below or above it.
2) Is it possible to remove the search bar in the mobile view? It is not needed for my purposes?

Please note that we can guarantee theme compatibility with the following third-party plugins: Contact Form 7 by Takayuki Miyoshi, Instagram Feed by Smash Balloon, PayPal Donations by Tips and Tricks HQ, Johan Steen, LayerSlider WP by Kreatura Media, Slider Revolution by ThemePunch, The Events Calendar and The Events Calendar PRO by Modern Tribe, Inc., Timetable Responsive Schedule For WordPress by QuanticaLabs, and WooCommerce plugin by Automattic. So I can recommend you to add your classes as WooCommerce products if you need to sell them. As for the other third-party plugins – the matter is that we haven’t tested their compatibility with the theme, that’s why can’t guarantee it. We do our best to make the theme compatible with the most popular plugins, but can’t ensure absolutely proper functioning with all the variety of existing plugins. The theme uses Woocommerce plugin for the shop feature, so basically the theme’s e-commerce functionality is 100% powered by the plugin. You can read about coupons functionality here.
At the moment users can only post content if they have one of the appropriate WordPress user roles: https://codex.wordpress.org/Roles_and_Capabilities. Some third party plugins might provide wider functionality for this purpose, but we can’t advise such plugins at the moment as we haven’t implemented tests. So you can assign different roles and capabilities to users according to WordPress standard roles, no additional managing functionality is available.

Adding this line or choosing this option when creating radio buttons or checkboxes should solve the issue.

We cannot guarantee Booked plugin compatibility with Dance Studio theme as we haven’t implemented tests with it. Though we can’t deny that it might work properly with our theme (sometimes plugins work fine just out of the box). Appreciate your understanding.

Dance Studio is a WordPress theme, so before installing the theme, you need to install WordPress (please see details here).
Elementor page builder isn’t included in the theme package and we can’t guarantee its compatibility with the theme, as we haven’t implemented such compatibility tests. Though we can’t deny mentioned plugin will work properly with our theme.
For the demo we used our own Visual Content Composer with a huge custom shortcode collection. Please check this video demonstrating how easily shortcodes can be managed. It’s taken for another product from our portfolio, but general idea for Dance Studio is the same. We’d also kindly advise to check other videos under Features menu item to see other composer and overall theme options. Our customers usually use exactly Cmsmasters’ Content Composer, as they are absolutely satisfied with it.
There is only one version of Dance Studio theme and it can be purchase here. For the demo we use the Events Calendar Pro plugin, you can see its functionality here, and it is also used for the Map, Photo and Week events view. Basic Events functionality is available with free The Events Calendar plugin, for more advanced options there’s a need to purchase its PRO add-on. Sure, you can easily set the one page site adding the id to the section with content and creating one-page menu with links to the sections.
Timetable functionality is delivered with a premium Timetable Responsive Schedule For WordPress plugin included to the theme package for free, and integrated into the theme Visual Content Composer with a great number of adjustable options.
All the settings for the plugin could be found in the Timetable shortcode, so you can make different tables with different settings: 1; 2; 3.

Our events view is achieved with the help of Events Pro plugin that comes with the Events list widget with extended options. But please note that it should be purchased separately as this plugin is prohibited from third-party distribution. This situation is typical for many other plugins as well, like WooCommerce paid addons, WPML etc. This is a general practice that applies to all theme authors identically.
In the basic Events Calendar plugin you can use Events List widget. More information about Events Calendar PRO plugin can be found here.

Okay, since you’re not answering on my ticket, will have to ask here. I got 2 sliders in this pack and both of which are asking for an activation code. I’ve followed the instruction and used the code from documentation provided with the purchase and this code has failed on both of them. Also i got troubles on both of them to import data so i was making it all from scratch.

As for the messages concerning purchase code – as developers we are the owner of proper purchase code exactly for Revolution and Layer Sliders. Slider licenses prohibit us from distributing sliders purchase codes, that’s why we cannot provide it. Theme purchase code won’t be accepted in slider as it refers to a completely another product. But please note that purchase code isn’t required for slider functioning, it allows to get plugin updates via dashboard, it’s not necessary as updates will be provided in theme updates on the Themeforest. Or you can always contact us to get the latest slider version via email.

Yes, thank you very much for your response. I’ve found few bugs now. Your form plugin doesn’t recognize other languages but English. So if i need to make a translation the attributive looks like ИМЯ and is not recognized in the e-mail. There’s a schedule drop down bug and with the blog. I’ve written also the details in a response of a ticket with print screens. Could you please check it as well?

As we can see from the error, you tried to install the whole archive downloaded from Themeforest, with all the documentation, demo content, etc. and that’s not the proper way for theme installation. Please unpack the archive, find How-To in Docs folder (that’s index file, open it with your browser) and follow the instructions carefully. You’ll need to upload exactly “dance-studio” archive, if you’re installing theme via dashboard.

The only Theme Settings I find is a .txt file, while the Wordpress Importer asks me for a .xml.

You need to copy all the code in the Theme Settings file, proceed to Theme Settings – Import/Export – Import tab and paste the code you have copied into the field provided, then click “Import Settings” button.

Hello, how can I change the size of the featured image on the events calendar single events page? Right now it’s assigning the image a class of attachment-cmsmasters-event-thumb and size-cmsmasters-event-thumb and cropping to a 560×400. I would like the image to be the full/original size, no cropping.

The matter is that the desired result requires theme files modification and is beyond our support policy. To have the events featured image in its original size there will be a need to edit the single-event.php file. Please note that we don’t provide assistance on such serious modifications and don’t recommend implementing them. Appreciate your understanding.

How do i install demo data?

In fact the easiest way to make your site look like our demo one is to import demo content. The theme comes with a .xml file that allows you to import all the pages and posts like they are on the demo site. You can find this file in the Demo content folder you downloaded from the Themeforest.
Please note, that all the images are not included and are substituted with placeholders, as according to our license we can’t redistribute them. Please install the WordPress importer plugin, then proceed to the Tools-Import-WordPress, upload file and import. You’ll need to import the Content itself and the theme settings.
The sliders are imported separately, so you need to install the slider plugin and import the slider sample file. The theme comes with a demo slider content import file. After you import it, you will have the same slider as we have on our demo, except that the background images will be absent and you will need to add your own instead. How can I change the format of the Event hours on the single events page? Right now I have to use 24hr time for the timetable plugin but I don’t want my event page to say 18:30-20:00. Also, the am and pm are not included.

To change the date format on a single event page, please proceed to /dance-studio/event-template.php, and change the date format on the lines #77 and #79. The Timetable plugin does not support child theme functionality, so you will have to edit the main theme file. Appreciate your understanding.
