Hi, Looking to get the footer sticky on my full page, right now it does the reveal effect even if I uncheck that on the salient footer section.
Will this code fix it? #footer-outer { position: fixed!important; width: 100%!important; left: 0!important; bottom: 0!important; }

Unfortuantely that CSS wouldn’t work in a FP setup, it would require turning the default footer off and adding a custom section to the footer.php file which you could then style with css to be fixed etc

Hey there, I made a change and now my site isn’t loading any of the text / sections I’ve created with page builder. I tried deleting what I had created in case that caused it but no luck. My site is here. Any help is much appreciated! I can see all of my info when I edit the pages but no longer showing up live anymore.
It seems to be only the pages that are NOT the full screen rows. I have the main page that is and the rest are not. Very bizarre.

Try changing into the “material” theme skin in the Salient options panel > general settings tab and see if that fixes the issues for you

I figured it out. Had to upload install and activate the js_composer_salient.zip file plugin. For some reason it did not appear in the plugin list automatically.

Hey Guys, I seem to be having a problem with uploading images to the galleries (eg. Image Grid). When I go to the Add Images and select the images to add to the gallery, for some reason when I click on the ‘Add Images’ button it stays idle and nothing happens. It loads for a few seconds and nothing. The images I’m trying to upload are small in size, so I am a little confused. Any ideas? Thanks so much

The plugin you’re using “arscode ninja popups” is conflicting with the font awesome loaded by Salient – add this into the custom css box in the Salient options panel to fix it:

I’m using the Image Gallery with Gallery type set to ‘Image Grid Style’ and Masonry Style set to ‘Yes, please’. In The Media Library I can now set the Masonry Sizing for each image in the gallery to ‘regular’, ‘wide’, ‘tall’, etc.
My problem: how can I bulk edit this Masonry Sizing? I have hundreds of images in the Media gallery that I want to use in the Salient Image Gallery with Masonry setting. So ideally I would like to select all images with tall aspect ratio in the media gallery and then set their Masonry Sizing to ‘tall’ in one step, then do the same for all wide images etc. How can I do this?
Otherwise, I need five clicks for each image to adjust the masonry size setting. Together with loading times this takes ages to setup images for a masonry gallery. What am I missing?

The only way to force this would be to modify the nectar/nectar-vc-addons/vc_templates/vc_gallery.php file – look for the line:
$masonry_item_sizing = $attachment_meta['masonry_image_sizing'];

Okay, thx. I found it, but how do I have to modify it? Ideally I would like to select several images in the Media Gallery and then bulk edit the masonry sizing element to either ‘tall’, ‘wide’, ‘regular’. I don’t see how this would be possible by hardcoding something int he php file? Also I am not a programmer sorry, so could you please give detailed instructions. Thank you! Tobias

I really like the style of the centered heading font size and paragraph (and style) and would like to use it elsewhere without the dividing line like on my home page blclandscape.com I can’t figure how to get rid of the divider and still keep the paragraph font size. You need to update your version of the Salient visual composer plugin. 5.2.4 is the current and fixes that issue (which occured when WP4.9 was released) If you don’t have that plugin update showing, you need to update your version of Salient itself: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/updating-salient/

Hey branmak, the midnight script is used when the “Header permanent Transparent” option is enabled in the Salient options panel >
header navigation > transparency tab. However, in the latest “material” theme skin (available to select in the general settings tab). Achieves the same effect without the use of that script.
Try switching to that and see if it solves your problem

Hey, webp isn’t fully supported in IE/Firefox at this time, but you could still use a plugin with WP to allow that format to be used when available – here’s a free one that adds functionality for it: https://wordpress.org/plugins/cache-enabler/

Hi guys,
For the portfolio (using filters), is there a way you could only show 12 projects, but it loads all the projects so when I click a filter, I see the latest 12 projects of that filter. For example, I have 100 projects, and I set it up to show 12, but when I click “Filter A” I see the first 12 projects of that filter.
Right now, if I set it to 12 projects, when I click the filter I only get shown ones from that 12 projects. I tried infinity scrolling but it has the same problem.
I also tried to hide it with CSS using:
:nth-child(n+13) { display: none; }
to hide everything after the 12th project but then it still hides them if you click a filter.
Maybe there’s a way to do this? Rather than loading all 100 projects on one page (or making a user click through multiple pages to see the ones they want) ?

Unforutnately there isn’t a way to accomplish that as of now without custom development as each filter would need to load new items through a request, where as now it is only sorting from what already exists.

If you want to emulate those designs, it’s still possible. The option for the secondary header is located in the Salient options panel > header navigation > layout related tab witht he “Header Secondary Nav ” field. That adds a new menu location in the Appearnce > menues – and the language selector from WPML will get added there Cheers

How would I set a flipbox to be the same on both sides, like with the same icon and everything? Front and back the same (just different backgrounds)? Also, how do I attach a URL to a flipbox, as if I attach it to the text on the back side it hides the text unless hovered over and if I attach it to the column, the flipbox doesn’t flip.

1. There’s no way to add an icon to the back side without custom modding to the element, as it never gets added to to HTML in the back div 2. You would need to use a button shortcode for now as shown in the examples: http://themenectar.com/demo/salient-promo/flip-box/
