I am having trouble with the transparent it won’t switch to the dark version even though I have specified under page header section that the dark header be used. Any ideas. Thanks

I’m having a tough time translating Salient to my own language.
I know the strings I need to translate are in the nectar_salient_strings.pot, but Loco Translate picks redux-framework.pot instead.
I tried to translate it with Poedit and then uploaded it to salient/lang/, first used nectar_salient_strings-pt-PT.po name, but as it didn’t work out I changed it to pt-PT.po… however it still doesn’t work 
I’m trying to use Loco Translate again by adding the lang path to the language bundle, and although I am now able to translate the strings, it doesn’t show on frontend 
What should I do?

In Loco Translate > Themes > Salient > Advanced you can set the path to the .pot file. For the Template file field use “lang/nectar_salient_strings.pot” – you can then generate a new .po based on the translations you do

Hi, I would like to add rounded corners on the flip boxes. How would I do it so that both instances – the normal and the flip have rounded corners as well as the color overlay?
Also – I’d like to add a 1px white border to both sides of the flip.

1. It can be accomplished with the following css but you’ll lose the “3d” text effect:

Only 8.5.2+ is compatible with WP 4.9+ – there’s no need to repurchase the theme, if you already have a licsense you get free updates for life

After i upgrade WordPress to 4.9+, the VC shows nothing in the Page. The VC doesn’t upgrade itself !

Hi. I have a problem with the “Visual Composer”. Not show up on pages anymore. I cant edit the pages and the “Salient option” is blank too. I´m using WP 4.9.4, Salient 8.5.4 and 5.2.4 plugin. I tried deleting the old themes, deactivate every plugin,reinstall the theme… What can I try now? Thanks

I had commented here (https://themeforest.net/comments/18712470) re form submit button styling on a popup and you asked me to share the link, so I added it to that ticket about 3 weeks ago… then I thought I hadn’t added it so I added it again 2 weeks ago, but looks like I had done it correctly the first time lol, sorry. So I’ve been waiting about 3 weeks total if you could please have a look that would be great. thank you! Each post has a different link but both links have the same popup.

that’s how I’m currently seeing it display on my end – have you already figured this item out? Also, when you updated did you ensure that the old theme was deleted before you uploaded the new if you used FTP so ensure no old files that were removed in the current version could still be there?

Hi Recently our portfolio pages stopped loading. I have tried disabling all plugins and everything loads ok – except, of course, the format is broken because Visual Composer is disabled – If I enable only that plugin, the portfolio pages stop loading again. It only affects Portfolio items. All other pages load no problem. I have just updated to the latest version of Salient and still them same problem. Thanks

Hey roye209, WooCommerce hides the thumbnails on mobile by default in the cart – to add them back in you could add this into the custom css box in your Salient options panel:

I’ve been searching here but I haven’t found an answer. Is there a way to make the magnifying glass search icon in header navigation larger? Not the font of the search functionality once you click on it, just the search icon itself.

There’s three included as of current version, if you’re referring to the WooCommerce product styles it would be a matter of custom css depending on what you’re trying to achieve

Hi, I’ve a problem with bredcrumbs. In PAGE without sidebar they works, but if I activate the sidebar they disappears. This doesn’t happen with the Article, where they works even if there is the sidebar. How can I fix this problem? Thanks a lot, Fabio

i’d like to add membership functionality. I’m building a website with free and paid tutorials so it would be great for users to have their own profile with settings. For example in the menu there will be icon/avatar with a pop-up = Settings, View Purchases, Help Center, Log Out,...) is it possible? Also, which membership plugin do you recommend for using with your theme?
