Hello, I would like to make sure I got licencing right. If I have a client who would like to have a new website (let say I sell the website for $100), is it ok if I register a domain, install WP, buy Avada regular licence? Client pays for me and I will either run the website (keep it fresh re content) or will give access to client (as admin, so they can edit it). Both options require a Regulr licence, can you please confirm? When do we need to buy Extended licence? Thanks!

I have a pre sales question. There is a common issue of Theme Options sections going blank, is it only with nulled themes or is it because of compatibility issues with hosting providers. I use nulled themes before purchasing actual ones to test if the theme is capable for creating the desired designs my clients want. Avada is super cool but a few issues that i found seems as if its got something to do with hosting settings like PHP values . The hosting provider said the theme might not be compatible with hostgator’s shared packages, If this is a known issue with nulled versions only and will not happen in a purchased version I can buy the theme. Please explain.

That particular issue which some people get is simply due to cache (browser / plugin / host) and nothing else and if you clear them properly as mentioned in our documentation post here => http://bit.ly/2lc9E2W everything should be all fine and good we can assure you. Also most of the times if you simply open the Theme Options in Incognito Mode of chrome you will see it works all fine and good, secondly a lot of our users are running Avada on shared hosting, I have a personal shared hosting account with BlueHost that is the very cheap and Avada works fine there, if somehow you can not increase those values you can always use our alternate methods to import demos (for which most of the values needs an increament)

Thank you for being so generous and replying to my comment even when i have not purchased the theme yet.This encourages me to move on and purchase the theme now.
I figured out the problem comes when I update wordpress to 4.9+. Avada 5.2.1 is conflicting with the update.
Are you sure the latest releases will work fine the client means lifetime of business to me and i dont want to get into troubles. I you promise the latest versions will not get me into this trouble I am purchasing the theme right away

Avada 5.4.2 is 100% compatible with WordPress 4.9+ and we suggest that you update your theme to the latest version.

Hi,
I have modified my site setting as I load images, css and js from a cookieless subdomain called “static” ( all others from “www”). Most of files are loaded properly, except logo, favicon.ico and Fusion Slider slide images, they are still attemtpted to be loaded from URL using www subdomain.

Hi,
I checked postmeta table and pyre_page_title_bar_bg and pyre_wide_page_bg meta keys are containing surely the wrong URLs (with “www” instead of “static” subdomain); pls. forward this info to your devs.
BTW I use a broader Apache config in htaccess, so that is not the issue… Thanks

Pre-purchase question : My client has purchased Avada and it’s live on his current site. I’d like to try using it for the first time, but will need to install it on the dev site and don’t have the files. Do I need two license codes in order to build, or can I install it on both Wordpress Installs during development with the one code? Thanks!

If your development site is publicly accessible you will need an additional license as per the terms. If the development site is not publicly accessible, for example, requires the person viewing it to log in in order to view it or is on a WAMP/MAMP localhost install then you do not

In regards to the Avada “there was a problem with your action” issue.
What fixed it for me in IIS 10 was removing the http request header called “Referrer-Policy”. If you’re self hosted try removing all your http request headers and see if that is the fix. I believe this will also apply to Apache and NGINX.
Also try this to check your self hosted or shared hosted headers.. Open developer tools in Chrome, clear your browser cache then visit your site. In Chrome press F12, then choose the tab at the top called “Network” then the middle tab called “Headers”. then click your root example.com under the “Name” field to see all the http request headers from your site.

shame shame shame, is this for what we pay. I have updated, look at my site “newventure-consulting.com” is destroyed. I do not have time to rebuild my site every time i update. That is ridiculous. Envato have to protect us from such asset destruction. I am really burning from rage.

We have kept the update process very straightforward and the conversion is actually meant to run automatically (hence it is not highlighted to prevent users from running conversion twice) In some instances, if the conversion doesn’t run, we do provide an option to manually run the conversion by going to WordPress admin panel dashboard > Avada > System status

In general, this is objectively a great theme that I’ve never had to ask for any support regarding…on the front end or backend. The integration of plugins seems to be pretty fantastic and it is obvious why this is such a popular theme. It takes a while to learn, but generally the documentation is sufficient.
I would, however, caution that I have always had a problems troubleshooting a bug that causes my menus to display differently across browsers. (I never had the time to report this before expiry of the help package.)
For example, and in my case, there is no problem with my menu CSS in Safari, Firefox, or Chrome. However, menu item spacing in Explorer is complete garbage and makes my website look like crap. Considering that most professionals in my industry use Explorer to conduct due diligence (I’m in finance, not a creative industry), this is a big problem and source of frustration given the number of hours I’ve invested in solving it.
Unfortunately, with bug reporting only offered to paying support subscribers (despite whether or not you’ve ever submitted a ticket or required any support whatsoever), it looks like this will continue to fall through the cracks.
Furthermore, closing off all communications with customers in trying to report a developer error is terrible practice in my opinion, and it will be my last purchase from this ecosystem on account of that. So, depending on your anticipated audience (and budget for ongoing support), I might strongly recommend buying from a different marketplace.
I would also add that, in my experience, the responsiveness of this theme is quite terrific compared to other premium themes I have worked with in the past. Mobile displays quite well with very little style configuration required. I’d say that Revolution slider requires the most time and effort, and this is primarily necessary to carry your aesthetic across screen sizes.
Further, you don’t have to have any experience with CSS to effectively customize this theme. I’d say that you should have a baseline understanding on how CSS functions, but that’s easily done by watching some tutorials. I never required a child theme and never overrode any CSS to achieve my desired end state.
My reservations, however, continue to be with the support scheme.

To paint us, ThemeFusion, negatively in this light is unfortunate. You can check through our entire and extensive comments section and you will immediately see that we are here, available and do what we can even for those who have expired support. The unfortunate side of all of this is that there are always some that will abuse an extended hand.
Furthermore, we as ThemeFusion do not close things off. I checked our support channel, all of your email accounts and even social media and there is no communication from this username -> jmreinoso – what you are describing here sounds rather vague. Did you add custom CSS? If it is not working only in IE, what version of IE are you using? What version of the theme are you using/Do you need top update the theme and WordPress? What you are applying is, to give you money via extending support. However, when I purchased this theme lifetime updates were considered.
I am aware that you should be paid for questions “How to” and similar and that’s fine but I am talking about obvious bug with your update and I think I deserve to have an answer!

In regard to what you had mentioned here about your header, this has not been reported as an issue for Avada 5.4.2 and I have just checked this on a test install and it cannot be replicated. If there was a bug in the header Theme Options or header Fusion Options it would not be intermittent or random. A bug would mean it simply would not work at all when it comes to settings. Please clear your caches, disable 3rd party plugins, clear your browser cache as well to check

Hi there, i make changes to the theme options but the website doesn’t assume them at all… If you go to www.anemep.pt/site you can see that the color of the footer in the portuguese version is red, but if you change to the english version the color is grey. But in the theme options the color that i’ve put is red. And the same happens with the backgroudn color of sidebar, i’ve put in grey but it appears white.

Hi Support, ive sent you an email just now but an update to my issue is that its the Fusion Builder plugin which seems to make updating pages really slow, when this plugin is disabled for testing and i make an edit to a page it saves within about 2-3 seconds, with fusion builder plugin enabled, saving takes around 12-15 seconds.
im on PHP 5.6 but have also changed to PHP 7.2 and its the same issue, no red warnings in avada status either.

We do have premade template for our single products but you can definitely use Fusion Builder on them and change the layout as per your own requirement

Would you be able to tell me why in your Science demo why the four gray boxes for RESEARCH, DISCOVERY, ANALYSIS, and TESTING do not display on mobile? Even when the container visibility is set to display on mobile, why would this not show on mobile?
Also, I have a site that utilizes a similar layout – 2 equal half columns, full image on one side, text on the other at 100% width. On mobile, the column with my images barely show while the box with text is fully displaying. Set equal columns height is YES. Container visibility is set to show on mobile. These columns should be stacking vertically on mobile – they do, but the images are not showing the full image, only a small sliver. Why is this?
Ok, so I figured out a solution for images that weren’t displaying right on mobile – I simply added a lot of padding to the image. Still not sure why the four gray boxes don’t even show on mobile in your Science demo tho.

Hi there.
In your demo you show a gallery element with grids (see https://avada.theme-fusion.com/gallery/).
What we want to create is a grid that looks more or less like the gallery element, but then for the use of ie. text, image, blog post, portfolio all mixed. I realize you can create columns and vary the number of columns for each row, but is it also possible to have columns covering multiple rows (like in the gallery element)?

We are happy that you are interested in our theme, that specific layout you mentioned above is only possible via a true Masonry setup, you can create something similar with the columns but it will not be as close and smooth as the Masonry due to the way columns work.
