Hello! Before buying I have some questions please,
I need a membership area where only members can book the tours, is that possible? To be more clearly, the website would work like this: The person became a member paying directly on the website than he can book the tours during a year without paying anything else.
Thank you verymuch! Igor
Hi, yes you could do that. The theme includes full support for WooCommerce which you can use for payments. Then you can have a password protected area of the site which would be members only where the booking calendar would be, so no one without access would be able to making bookings.
Hi ! Does this template support bookings for 1 week ? For example i would like booking 1 week camp for my children. If not, do you know how to do it ? Does a plugin exist for 1 week booking or more compatible with this theme ? Thanks you !
Hi,
Our Embark theme includes Booked which is a booking system designed for same-day bookings. It works very well for appointments, tours, really any time slots up to one full day. It can be used for longer bookings but in that case it just shows the start date.
For multiple day bookings, you could look at using a different booking system, or we also have another theme that may be better suited: https://themeforest.net/item/bellevue-hotel-bed-breakfast-booking-theme/12482898
Okay thanks, but it is possible to replace the Booked plugin to the plugin WP Booking in Embark ?
Technically speaking, yes as the booking system in Embark is optional and can be disabled easily. But generally if someone wants to use WP Booking we recommend they purchase Bellevue as the theme includes the full version of the plugin (otherwise $34) and some additional widget and and styling support for the plugin.
If you go with Bellevue, we could send over a few Embark layouts to import, and if you go with Embark, we may be able to send some code to copy/paste to add styling for the WP Booking plugin.
Hi! I have installed the theme, choosing “Hop&Wine” as the model preset. But my theme seems to follow “Rafting” style. All the presets for home, tours, etc. are for “rafting”
Can you help me?
Hello, happy to help. Can you please send us a link to your install? We can take a closer look. best regards, Ryan
It’s possible to use the booking feature without the payment? I would like to use only the reservation fuction.
Yes, the payments component is entirely optional and does not need to be included in the booking process.
You can have guest booking where they don’t even need to create an account, or you can have registered booking where after requesting a booking they are taken to their account page which shows an overview of their bookings.
Thanks for the answer.
happy to help
Hi, I have a couple pre-sale questions.
1. Does the theme include the Olark chat widget I see in the demo?
2. I want to offer only free tours. Is there a way to skip the payment page during the booking process?
Hi,
1. Olark is a premium service available on paid subscription: http://bit.ly/getolark however there is this one which is free: https://www.tawk.to/
2. Yes, the payments component is entirely optional and does not need to be included.
Hello! I have a pre-sale question.
I would like to know if it is possible to book a Tour without paying at the moment. And only after we confirm if it is possible to do the Tour, through the Backoffice “Approve the Tour” and the client who made the reservation receive an email to make the payment by paypal, stripe or bank transfer. That is, it is only possible to make payment on the website when we approve the pre-booking of the Tour.
Did I understand? Thank you very much.
Hi, yes the payments component is entirely optional.
You can set it up so that bookings come through as a request and need to be approved by an admin. Once approved an email is sent to the customer, which can be customized, so they could receive a link to make payment. The payments component can be setup through WooCommerce which supports PayPal, Stripe, and bank transfer
Is it possible to see a backoffice demo to see how it works? Thank you
Another question, is it possible to add extra fields to the user registry?
Hi,
1. We currently don’t have the ability to setup a demo account for you to see the backend. We do however have this page that serves as an overview of the page builder including screenshots and video: http://demo.themovation.com/embark/live-page-builder/
It’s based around Elementor which has over 600,000 active installs and a 5 star rating: https://wordpress.org/plugins/elementor/ – we think you’ll really enjoy it
We also have this page with more info on the booking system as well: http://demo.themovation.com/embark/booking/
2. There are two areas to the booking form – the part that is filled out only once to register, and the part that is filled out every time a booking is made. You can customize the second part (every time) but not the first part (one time).
Hi there,
I just found out your theme and seems to be the best solution to what I need.
I’ve got two questions. I’ve read something about a Pro version, as I understood it contains more plugins. How does that work?
I’m creating a kayak tour website. I don’t want to have online payment, I just want the customers to fill the form and calendar and then I receive an e-mail so I can contact them. Can I do that with your theme?
I’m really interested on your product.
Best Regards, Luís Silva
Hi, that’s great to hear.
The Embark theme itself has just one version which is sold here for $59.
Embark includes and utilizes the Elementor page builder plugin -http://demo.themovation.com/embark/live-page-builder/
Everything shown in the demo can be created with what is included with purchase, however Elementor does have a Pro option as well which can optionally be purchased if you want the extras that come with Pro.
The booking system is called Booked and the full version is included with purchase. The payments component is entirely optional – you can set it up so customers send a request and you can follow up.
Let me know if you have any other questions
theme is compatible with free version of this yith-woocommerce deposits and down payments plugin? https://yithemes.com/themes/plugins/yith-woocommerce-deposits-and-down-payments/ thanks
Hi, technically speaking nearly all WooCommerce plugins should work well since our themes support WooCommerce. That is an example of a deposits plugin, we have not yet personally tested it but I believe it should work. I will make a note to test it when I am next in the office and I will follow up here within 24-48 hours.
Hi, I just tested and it actually seems like the plugin itself doesn’t work unfortunately. I don’t think it’s an incompatibility, I think it’s just not working; there are numerous low ratings that I didn’t previously see: https://wordpress.org/plugins/yith-woocommerce-deposits-and-down-payments/
The premium version may well work, I am not sure as I haven’t yet tested it.
Otherwise, using the booking system it is possible to accept a deposit anyhow in the sense that you can state a price for a Tour or product but then can set the item price to any amount you want.
Hi,
I have a question before buy the theme. Once the customer enters the reservation request, is there any way to set up the invoice details to split the payment (i.e. pay 25% for the reservation and then the rest)?
Hi, that is not built directly into the booking plugin but it ties into WooCommerce for the payments component so you should be able to use an extension for WooCommerce to add that option.
This is one example that should work: https://yithemes.com/themes/plugins/yith-woocommerce-deposits-and-down-payments/
Before purchasing I would like custom the theme. Could you send me a Demo Account? Thanks
Hi, sorry we currently do not have the ability to setup a live demo account for you. We do however have this page that serves as an overview of the page builder: http://demo.themovation.com/embark/live-page-builder/
And I am more than happy to answer any questions you have.
One side note, I tested the free version of the plugin I mentioned in my response above and unfortunately it seems that the developers have not kept it up to date or for some reason it appears to not be in working order. I can’t speak to the premium version as I haven’t yet tried it.
Here is another option that looks to be currently supported: https://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-deposits-partial-payments-plugin/9249233
can pay tour booking with deposit
Hi, that is not built directly into the booking plugin but it ties into WooCommerce for payments so you could use an extension for WooCommerce to add that option. This is one example: https://yithemes.com/themes/plugins/yith-woocommerce-deposits-and-down-payments/
HI, I just bought your theme and the installation failed (through WP or through ftp): wp admin tells (there is no style.css file”.
WORSE : Now i can’t access anymore to my WP admin HTTP ERROR 500
OK. I’ve reinstall via FTP. Seems to work. CAN YOU PROVIDE A CHILDTHEME please ? Thanks
Hi, the stylesheet error is a common issue that comes up if the wrong zip file is uploaded: https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/202821510-Theme-is-missing-the-style-css-stylesheet-error
When you activate the theme you should be directed to the Theme Setup – the first step in the theme setup provides the option to install and activate the child theme which we recommend for all users
If you have any questions, feel free to open a ticket where we can best assist you:
http://themovation.ticksy.comHi,Your theme looks great…. Few pre-sale questions:
1. Is your theme compatible with WPML YOAST premium Contact form Gravity form
2. Is it possible to get a TOP BAR like in your BB Hotel Bellevue Theme but - with a gradient color background - with phone linkable icon + text - with adress linkable icon + text - with emal linlkable icon + text - with a language switcher flag compatible with WPML
3. on mobile and tablet version, can this Top Bar visible but just with these 3 icons contact ABOVE the logo and Hamburger menu AND can i put the FLAG switcher, between the LOGO and Hamburger menu ?
3. Can we set bredcrumbs on Desktop vesrion ?
4. I don’t need payment on line so In order to get a LIGHTER CODE THEME, can i desactivate the AD TO CART options and use Woo commerce just in CATALOG MODE ?
5 Or even bettern can i desactivate the plugins that i don’t need - booked - woo commerce - shop and payment on line ?
Thanks
Another question regarding EMBARK / BELLEVUE BB HOTEL ; 6. Except for calendar and booking forms, what are the main difference beetween the 2 themes SEO ? Speed loading ? Code simplest ? multilangugae ? ... Thanks
Hi,
1. WPML – Yes. Yoast – Yes. For custom forms, we include full support for the Formidable Forms plugin
2. Yes you can show a top bar which could be customized. You can have phone, address, and email links as well as text and HTML. The WPML switcher isn’t designed to be shown there but can be shown in the navigation menu or sidebar / footer.
3. Yes you have the top bar like that, except it would be custom to add the switcher there. That would take a bit of customization.
4. Yes
5. Yes you can entirely disable them in which case none of the plugin files would load.
6. The main differences are are the plugin support (Booked vs WP Booking System) and the included demo pages. Otherwise they are both nearly the same.
Hi ! Does this template support conditional booking ? For exemple I want to sell a tour to New York, but only Mondays from Philadelphia and only Fridays from Baltimore. If not, do you know how to do it ? Thanks !
In the booking system you can have as many different calendars as you like, so you could have one calendar for Philadelphia and one for Baltimore, and setup the calendars to only accept bookings for the days you want. You can include a calendar switcher directly above as shown on this sample page: http://demo.themovation.com/embark/walking-tours/elements/booked-calendar/
Or you could put them on the same calendar and title the tours according to the city.
Thank you for you answer ! the calendar switcher looks great, would it work to set departure city instead of destination, as shown on the sample page ? best regards
You can title the calendars however you like, so it could be departure, destination, anything. You can also add custom fields into the booking form if you like.
Hello i have a qustion please before i buy it
Can i customize this theme to be like http://wowvenue.com ?
Hi,
The page builder in Embark is extremely flexible so the options are nearly limitless there.
The booking system operates mainly as shown in our live demo but has some options as well.
Can you tell me specifically what it is you are looking to replicate from the WowVenue site?
Hello,
Is the theme SEO Friendly?
Best Regards
Hi, yes our themes are designed for SEO. We also recommend using the free Yoast SEO plugin which works well with our products and further expands the SEO features
Dear Autor, I have two questions for you: 1- in my Embark theme, how can I change default text in the tour grid widgets? I’d like to replace the words “sort” and “all” in my site with their italian translations. I tried to do it by operating on the text editor of the page containig the widget. Sadly, my updates appear in the preview but disappear when I come back to eElementor editor or its preview. 2- Installing your Embark theme, I’ve chosen “walking Tours” as basic model to start with for building my site. Nevertheless, my child theme seems to follow “River Rafting” model’s style.
Can you help me? Thank you,
Viola
Hello, thanks for the follow up.
1- in my Embark theme, how can I change default text in the tour grid widgets? > Please go under Tours / All Tours / and ‘Edit’ (not ‘Edit with Elementor’) Inside you ill find some meta boxes with the text you wish to edit. Do not click ‘back to wordpress edit’, only scroll down until you see the meta boxes like this.

Best regards, Ryan
Hi, is there any way of testing this before purchasing it? Also would like to know your thoughts on the below points.
1. Multi Dated booking options for tour packages. We may need this option for booking packages that runs for multiple days, is it available or not?
2. Modal Login/Signup pages to login to the site. May i know how is the login/register thing configured in the theme.i do see no login/register options in the demo..
4. Are we able to configure filter options for showing packages that fall under a specific criteria.
3. Also would like to feature destinations & tours at the same in the site. is it possible to do it?. For e.g., for destinations, we have country as the main category, then states as its sub category, and then districts as its sub category. is it possible to create custom category pages for country, so that it can show up all states in it/it can show up the destinations in that country(we are in need of both options – that’s show categorized destinations & also show categorized packages in separate pages).
4. is there any filter options for showing destinations that fall under a specific criteria. For example, filter for waterfalls or beaches etc.
5. is it possible to “add the tour listings” from the front end and manage it from there. Could you please add more lights on it? i do see no reference on how packages are being managed. We are running a tour marketplace where tour partners can add packages and hence manage it from there end. Any such options available or how to manage it with this theme?
Waiting for your reply. Thanks so much
Hello, thank you for your interest.
1. Multi Dated booking options for tour packages. We may need this option for booking packages that runs for multiple days, is it available or not?
> We ship with the booked plugin from Boxy Studio for free but we didn’t develop the plugin so some features are not available. Multi day is one of those. However, you should be able to use any WP plugin that you would like. We’ve made the theme flexible like that.
2. Modal Login/Signup pages to login to the site. May i know how is the login/register thing configured in the theme.i do see no login/register options in the demo..
> Booked comes with a profile page that can be setup with a simple shortcode.
4. Are we able to configure filter options for showing packages that fall under a specific criteria.
> We have a filter text link on our tour grid that will be helpful to you, you may be able to use a search plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/relevanssi/ or try test others =here: https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/plugins-supercharge-search/
> We have a grouping system for tours, called tour types, you may be able to make this works. You can also use pages and sub pages to group in addition to the tour type.
4. is there any filter options for showing destinations that fall under a specific criteria. For example, filter for waterfalls or beaches etc.
> We do have a filter text link option that can be enabled above the tour grid, this can filter by specific tour types that you can create.
5. is it possible to “add the tour listings” from the front end and manage it from there. Could you please add more lights on it? i do see no reference on how packages are being managed. We are running a tour marketplace where tour partners can add packages and hence manage it from there end. Any such options available or how to manage it with this theme?
> We have a frontend add on for booked that provides agents to managed their own booking calendar. Currently, we do not have a way for agents to create their own tour pages, there might be a plugin for this. I’m not sure.
I hope this was helpful. If you have any questions for us, please contact us on our ticket system.
Happy to help.

Hi, just a presale question. does the theme support woocommerce product vendor or multivendor?
Hi, Embark includes support for WooCommerce so just about all WooCommerce extensions should work well with the theme. I believe the Product Vendors extension is all or mainly backend, in which case there’s no problem at all.
Hi! I have some questions before purchasing.
1- Is it posible to use the booking calendar just for some tours only and using a form for other tours?
2- Regarding forms. Is it posible to personalize a form for each individual tour?
3- Is it posible to include tours without a fixed price? Some of our tours are tailor-made, so don’t have a fixed price. The perfect option would be to include “on request” instead of a fixed price
4- Is it posible to include the text “from” before price? For example “from 85$/ per person?
5- is the pricing chart customizable? We would prefer to include just one chart with all different prices depending on how many people is on the tour. I mean, for a day tour, there is only one option, just the price changes depending on how many people is on the tour.
6- Is it posible to set sub-categories for the tours? For example, 2 main categories: private and public tours. And subcategories for each category: cultural, walking, etc.
7- Whcih is the difference between tours and specials? Do specials also use categories?
Sorry for so many questions, but we have used many themes that have not worked well for us and we want to be sure before changing again.
Thanks in advance!
Hi,
1. Yes
2. Yes
3. Yes, you could just show On Request
4. Yes, you can do that
5. Yes, very customizable: http://demo.themovation.com/embark/walking-tours/elements/pricing-table/
6. You can create groups which are sort of like tags or categories, but they do not support nesting so you can’t have parent/child groups. You could however have them displayed as parent/child in the main menu.
7. Tours are a WP custom post type in the theme and can be displayed on any page using the Tour Grid widget that links to the individual pages: http://demo.themovation.com/embark/walking-tours/elements/tour-grid/
Specials (Packages) is a widget where you can input any freeform info and optionally link it to any page you want: http://demo.themovation.com/embark/walking-tours/elements/package/
Thank you so much!
Last question. We plan to use a plugin like Theme Switcha to work on the new theme while the actual theme is running. Is it posible to use the plugin with this theme and the automated installer?
No problem. We haven’t personally tested that plugin but if it works with other themes, I don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t work.
Thank you!
Happy to help
Dear author, I’m not a travel agency but a tour guide. Most of the tours I’d like to offer are always available (on reservation) and they don’t have a fixed price because they are customizable in terms of duration and additional services; in my case, customers should simply select the tour they want to do and write me asking for information and agreeing with me date, time and other details about the tour. Is there in this theme the possibility to remove the booking calendar from the single item and to substitute it with a classic contact form? Thank you, Viola
Hello! Thank you. Yes. You don’t have to use the booking component, you can use our forms instead. We ship with Formidable Lite, and we include several beautiful forms, Inline and stacked with nice styling options
Sounds like a good fit.
