Hi, I am trying to change the help categories on the homepage but I can’t change them because the category settings only shows two of my categories (i have four). It also shows categories that don’t exist that i can’t get rid of “affiliate is an invalid category”, “videos is an invalid category”. How do i fix this? thankyou

- If you have a category without a post, it will not be displayed in shortcode editor.

- I think you have removed “affiliate & videos” category. That is why you got that message. Please check the following video tutorial for details.

I have another question. How do I setup main menu on top. Currently there is no menu on top and it just said “Top Menu Location.”

- Currently there is no option setup custom link on that button. You can only show/hide the button at this moment. However, in future release I’ll consider to add a new field to add custom link on it.

Thank you. Another question. How do I put kb categories in the sub menu of “top menu location”. I have created the menu but when I’d like to add categories as the sub menu, I can’t find the kb categories. Instead, I just found ordinary wordpress post categories in the list.

After deleting the demo KB categories and setting up our own, the VC KB Category module is not finding the new ones. Any ideas?

You need to add minimum 1 KB post on that new category. Then you’ll get that in VC KB category module.

I was just wanting to compare your theme to hosted software. I’m guessing the main benefits of your theme are reduced costs and the ability to update more parts of the design?

I see in the documentation you have Mailchimp for WP as a required plugin. Is that really required if I don’t use mailchimp?

No, it’s a recommended plugin. If you don’t want to use you can simply skip that.

On another note, I found a spelling error on your demo sites in the “Add a Knowledgebase Question” section, the word “answered” is misspelled…

Hi, just purchased the template. However, I can’t change the theme color from blue to other color (my website color scheme is pink and green.) I can only change the background color which does not help much as it still does not go well with the theme blue. Pls advice.
