Question: 1 job posted by a company and have 10 job opening.
now 30 people apply for job ( show 30 people apply this job )
4 people get this job, left 6 job opening.

How could your theme show this function?

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today.

Unfortunately, Jobify and WP Job Manager do not have an option of displaying the number of available openings for a single job and as well as display the count of how many applications have been submitted.

An Employer can just write the number of positions available in the Job Description manually. That would be the only option, or add a custom field using the WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin.

Hope this answers your question.

Fernando

ok thanks a lot!

Hi Astoundify. I have just bought extended support for your jobify theme, but I can not get acces to your support. I have two accounts on Envato and my Astoundify account continues to connect to the wrong Envato account. Thank you in advance.

Hey there!

At times you need the Envato API does not automatically reflect an extension was purchased. You may need to give it some time.

I would try again now that it has been a few hours since you left your comment. Please visit this page and you should be able to submit a ticket: https://astoundify.com/account/new-ticket/

Hope this helps!

Hi Fernando. Thank you for your reply but it did not solve my problem.

My problem is that I can not get acces to my Astoundify account where my Envato account (denniskyndesen) is connected.

When I am logged in Astoundify and try to link to my Envato account I get the message: “Connection failed. Envato user “denniskyndesen” already connected by another account.”

I do not have a login to another account and I think that this is an account that is set up with an email that I do not use anymore.

Hi again,

Would you be able to email me at fernando[at]astoundify[dot]com. I can assist better this way and take a closer look at your account.

I am pretty sure, that I would bought if I needed it, but know it don’t compare with my business, that’s all. Thank you once more and waiting for your answer. I also can provide my purchase number or refund ID, if you need

Does the latest version compatibility with WP 4.9.x? Kindly advise. Thx

Hello there!

This is Fernando from Astoundify’s customer support! It is great to hear from you today.

Yes, Jobify is compatible with the latest WordPress updates!

Hope this answers your questions. Let me know if you have additional questions!

Fernando

3 questions before I buy:

1. Is it possible to have a multi language site using the WPML plugin for example?

2. Can I hide most of the content, like listings and jobs, so you can only see it when you have paid and registered?

3. How much is the full price with the plugins you are using in the extended version? https://jobify-demos.astoundify.com/extended/

Hey there!

Thanks for reaching out!

1)We recommend Polylang, but you can also use WPML if you prefer.

2)Out of the box, there are no restrictions in place for hiding content until a user has paid. This can be implemented using the WP Job Manager Packages plugin. Where you can charge users to view content.

3)You can see the plugins used in our Extended demo here: https://jobify.astoundify.com/article/734-what-paid-plugins-are-used-on-the-jobify-extended-demo They are not required but help to enhance the functionality of your website.

Hope this helps!

Hi, some locations come up as “Anywhere” on the single job listing page. The Maps API key is not the problem. When I change the location from Eindhoven to Amsterdam it does work. Any thoughts why some locations are not recognized?

Hey there,

Hope you are doing well today.

Just to ensure your API key is correctly configured, see this article: Why Can’t I See Job Listings on the Map It will show you what to look for to ensure your jobs are being properly geocoded.

If everything is correctly configured, it just means that your Jobs were not correctly geocoded when first created. If you simply go to edit a Job and click ‘update’ the system will properly geocode it.

Hope this helps!

Hi, I am trying to log a ticket, but it wont let me submit due to web address apparently. can I email someone please?.

Hey there,

Sorry to hear you were having issues originally but did see your tickets. If you have any additional questions, let me know and I will be happy to assist.

Fernando

Please, could you tell me as what plugins are already packaged with Jobify and what more I need to buy to make it look like your demo. Also, would I be able to create my child theme for Jobify?

Obviously I have to test it on my local machine before I make it go alive; how does the licence key work?

Thanks

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today!

Jobify is not bundled with any plugins. Out of the box, you will be able to create a website like our Classic Demo. As it does not use any premium plugins. If you wish to create a website like our Extended demo, you can use some plugins to further enhance the capabilities of your website. See a list of plugins here.

You can also follow our built-in setup guide which will automatically create a Child theme for you.

Our Theme license will allow you to install the theme on multiple installations. You can have a local copy and a live running website without any restrictions.

Hope this answers your questions.

I have a few pre-sale questions:

1.) If using Contact Listing Extension with WP Job Manager is there only 1 option to set a single gravity form as the “contact listing” form for every single listing or does each listing owner or “employer” have the ability to select a different Gravity Form to use as their listing’s contact form?

1)You can have them all working. You just need to allow the settings to display all 3 of the items.

2)Stats will work, but the rest will not. They are only compatible with our Listify theme at this time. You would need to manually customize them to have them integrate and working properly.

Hope this answers your question.

Is there any way to purchase the Listify theme but somehow only utilize the “plugin” aspects? I have a specific real estate based theme that I must use for my website but I am trying to use WP Job Manager in the same fashion that Listify does (as a listing directory) within this theme. Seeing that Listify uses the WP Job Manager plugin as the base of its functionality I was hoping there would be a way to utilize only the “plugin” files of this theme. Is there any way to achieve this so that I can use my own theme + WP Job Manager + Stats, Reviews, Products and Claim Listing, etc…? I would be happy to pay for the full theme obviously, just need to keep my current theme active. Any insight is appreciated!

That would not be recommended. As it would require a lot of modification to have this sort of integration.

Hi, I renewed the support license but if I want to submit a ticket it still says I don’t have a support license and have to renew. Please help!

Hey again,

It might take some time for the Envato API to update and show that you extended your support. Try again as it has been some time. If you still have issues, please email me here: fernando[at]astoundify[dot]com

Hope this helps!

Hi there. I have a question. When applying for a job is it possible to for the message to be sent on employs account on the current site instead of his email. Also I need the admin to be able review these messages. Is that possible?

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today!

You can look into using the Applications extension. Which will allow you to have the user get application within a new Application Dashboard the plugin provides. The Admin can view all applications that are stored in the back-end.

Fernando

Hi, when I updated Wordpress to version 4.9.4 the company logos and testimonials don’t show on my website anymore. Why is that?

Hey there!

Sorry to hear you are experiencing issues.

Can you submit a support ticket and we can take a closer look at the issue. I can only think it might be due to your theme and plugins being outdated.

We hope to hear from you over at our Support Channel!

Fernando

The description says that WooCommerce Listing Payments is free, however when I click on the helpfully provided link to that, turns out it’s actually $29, and won’t function without buying woocommerce subscriptions for another $199. So. Incredibly misleading. What else haven’t I found yet that is touted as “free” but in reality a bundle of money?

whoa, erased that line from the page right quick. ok. how do i get a refund?

I want a refund. You changed the webpage. It said “free woocommerce listing payments” when i bought jobify yesterday.

Hey again,

Yes, we had to make the change since the information was incorrect. Sorry for the confusion and having the wrong information up.

I replied back to your message. Let me know if I can assist with anything else.

Kind Regards,

Fernando

Will your Jobify be GDRP compliant by May 25th?

Hi there,

Jobify follows the WordPress coding standards and will be Compliant. As Jobify relies on WP Job Manager and WooCommerce to power the site, all Account information if primarily handled by the plugins. Both WP Job Manager and WooCommerce will be addressing these concerns to be Compliant before the deadline.

Hope this answers your question.

Dear Editor

I would love to know if in the apply page for it is possible to insert also a paypal option. I want to include job requests and the interested freelancer to post their offers.

Hi there,

Unfortunately, that is not possible.

The Application is just for applying for jobs. There is no PayPal option out of the box. Unless you create a field for users to enter PayPal details.

Kind Regards

Fernando

Hello I have pre puchased question. I would like to create site that in one page I have a list like a reat estate page (with a map of appartment on sale or for rent) and an other page with a list of place where you can find a job. The 2 pages are totaly different so my question is : Can I create 2 diffrent pages on same website and also for the filters, I don’t want on the map the to see the filters of real estate on the page to find a job and same thing in other way.

Can I do that with your theme ?

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today.

Unfortunately, Jobify is not designed to be used to have both Jobs and Real Estate. Jobify is just designed to be a Job Board theme.

Hope this answers your question.

Fernando
