Responsive features are based on browser size which is the otherhand based on screen size. If your laptop has the same window dimension as an iPad then the responsive features will be the same as that. If the laptop has a larger view as that of a desktop then it will display the desktop view.

It means if my ipad doesnt have a screen as big as my laptop, what i see is the mobile view on my ipad. Not too cool. My final question would be if the the fullscreen slider with audio works well with full audio on mobile and tablets. Please a swift response will be appreciated again

Hi, iPad will display responsive layout. What we mean is if the laptops will display the desktop in general unless the screen of the laptop is very small.

Audio will work on mobiles but they will require manual play. Mobiles can’t autoplay audio which is restricted on mobile browser level. This rule is applied to all websites viewed from mobile browsers. It’s not only for this theme.

1. There’s no limit to creating pages and password protecting them. You can have any number of password protected pages as required.

2. The proofing section is designed for photographers to quickly confirm photos from clients before more development on them. This can be retouching, making digital prints, making them available for purchase or download, etc. The comments section below the proofing section can be used to communicate between photographer and client. Adding a comment can also be used as a record when confirming, all of which are notified by email.

3. Purchase feature can be for digital or shippable goods. e-Commerce feature in the theme is powered by woocommerce plugin. You’ll get all the features of woocommerce to manage a shop with the theme.

Yes, password protecting clients will only allow the perticular client to access their portfolios. Others won’t be able to. Just make sure you’re entering different passwords for different clients and WordPress will lock those pages.

1. Portfolios support categories. So if you intend to create galleries with categories then you can do so with portfolios. They can be password protected.

2. You can create albums using the portfolio categories. So if you have categories for children, adults and professionals then you can generate albums which can be linked to the related portfolio set. Here’s a link to Demo Albums

3. You can filter the portfolios. Here’s Filterable Portfolios seen in demo.

5. Portfolios support comments which can be enabled via theme options.

If you could check demo features to see if the theme can generate the functions you require. We have includes all the features of the theme in demo.

We have our own pagebuilder with Kreativa which is supported inhouse and lightweight as it tightly integrated with the theme. External pagebuilders won’t be able to generate the functions and layout seen in demo.

1. You can password protect any page by setting the password in page settings. That’s the default password setting in WordPress pages.

2. Specific to proofing:

a. You can create a new client and set a password to the client page. That’s the same process as setting passwords to pages.

b. Next – Create a proofing gallery post and this time assign the client to it. If the client has a password set then the Proofing gallery post will use that password for access to it.

This way you can have multiple proofing galleries assigned to a particular client. All the proofing galleries under that client will use the password set to that client.

You can check our Help Guide. The proofing section is explained from page 70 onwards.

You can link the portfolio thumbnail with custom links or link them directly to the portfolio details page where you can have a Thumbnail Gallery inside it using the pagebuilder.

Thanks for that. One last question….normally the theme, when purchased, is just for one site. I have two domains but purely because one is for my main language – German and the other for english (kristian-ashton.de / en.kristian-ashton.de). They are connected using MultilingualPress – so the same site. Is that OK then if I just purchase one licence for your theme?

The fullscreen posts including fullscreen photowall doesn’t have the footer like the other pages.

You can create a lightbox photowall as in this link with footer http://kreativa.imaginem.co/galleries/thumbnail-wall-spaced/?menu_type=horizontal . You can also check the Gallery drop down menu links where you can see more layouts with footer.

You might be looking to create an image gallery instead of portfolio gallery in this case.

If you want to bulk upload images then you might be looking to create the Image galleries ( Demo link ). These galleries support bulk upload to populate the galleries where each image displays a lightbox.

Image galleries are easy to build even with large image collection where bulk image drag and drop, tag if necessary and publish to create a gallery.

Here’s Creating an Image Gallery ( video tutorial ) on creating one with filtered tags. You can omit the tag option to simply display the image grid without filters.

Portfolio galleries consisting of project items are for a different purpose. You can use them to display details of projects. A portfolio gallery consists of many projects each representing a post. Each of the thumbnails can be linked to their details page to show more information on the project. For this you’ll need to create a post each. These can’t be created bulk like the image galleries explained above, since each of the thumbnails represent a post.
