What changes have been to version 3.8.5? I’d like to know before updating. The changelog under Themes in Wordpress only has up to 3.8.3. Thank you!

Hi, just installed the theme but very disappointed about the lack of customisation options without having to manually add a huge amount of CSS. Not what was advertised with “endless design options”.....!!
Anyway a couple of questions:
1) Does the search support auto complete? (keywords/location?) I would have thought this would be included. 2) The mobile menu looks awful and dated. Is there really no way to customise this other than the colour?! 3) The buttons are not consistent across the site – i.e. different sizes, the job search button has no hover effect etc. Is there a solution for this?

1) Unfortunately an autocomplete Keyword or Location field is not included with our theme as shown in our demo. You can add an auto-complete feature using other 3rd-party plugins, but it is not available out of the box.
2)At this time, in order to customize the mobile menu, you will need to manually customize it with code.
3)If you can submit a support ticket we will be happy to look this over and help you fix this.

Pre-Sales Questions:
1/ Can you customise the candidate fields and candidate search? I want to build a site that allows candidates to select the languages they speak and I want employers to be able to search by languages. And then I would like to add other custom fields.
2/ Can you charge employers to view contact details in the candidate search? Ideally I would like it so that an employer can look through the candidate / CV database and see all details, except the contact details. I would then like for them to have to use a credit to reveal the contact details – name, email, phone number. Thus they would need to be able to buy CV packages.

1)You can add custom fields to both the Job and Candidate submission using the WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin. This will allow you to add a field like Languages, or other custom fields.
As for being able to filter them. At this time there is no built in option to make these fields available for filtering, you will need to customize the theme to create custom search filters for new fields.
2)At this time you can look into using the Packages plugin to charge users to view Jobs or Resumes. If you wish to go a step further and hide specific fields and charge a fee you can combine the Packages plugin with the WP Job Manager Visibility plugin.

Quick Question about Versions / Pricing: On your own Page (https://astoundify.com/products/jobify/) the Theme costs 69$, and here on Themeforest just 59$. But i can’t see a difference. Are there differences, or is the Theme just cheaper here on Themeforest?

This depends on how it was added. If we are talking about the homepage, you can replace the widget with another search widget.
If we are talking about the map on the search page, you can use a different page template to remove the map.

Please, help. After theme installation, I don’t have the “Pricing plan page”. I see some items are set up in WooCommerce plugin but the page is not visible in the navigation menu. 1)Make sure you have the WC Paid Listings plugin installed and have Create a Listing Package.
2)Once your packages have been created you can create a page with the Pricing Plans Template. Allowing you to add a link to the page under Appearance>Menus.

Just noticed that users who submit their resumes on my site are showing up in Google results. A simple Google search reveals their name and a few lines of their bio. This is definitely NOT acceptable. I have my settings for view resume capability set to “has_active_job_package” but names/resumes still appear in Google search results. Please advise

Depending on how you are getting your website index you will need to review your settings. For example, if you are using Yoast, you can exclude them from the sitemap. You can go to the “Post Types”/”Taxonomies” tab in the “XML Sitemaps” settings page.

As Jobify relies on WP Job Manager and WooCommerce to power the site, all Account information if primarily handled by the plugins. Both WP Job Manager and WooCommerce will be addressing these concerns to be Compliant before the deadline.
2)Using the Applications plugins, they can view their Past Applications from a page: https://wpjobmanager.com/document/applications/#section-9
3)Yes, using the Applications plugin they can select the ‘Hired’ Option for Candidates: https://wpjobmanager.com/document/applications/#section-7

At this time, the Companies profiles plugin does not have support for being translated into a different language. We are looking to improve this, but at this time it will only use the letters of the alphabet like in our demo.

Hi again. I want to write you my story. As I knew few hours ago, I can’t get a refund, if I bought a theme and downloaded it, even if it wasn’t me! Hi. My issue is not standard. When I wasn’t at home, my 6 years old daughter play with my computer. I teach her how to use mouse and keyboard, and how to go on different sites. So one day, when I received payment check on my credit card, I didn’t understand what was going on and when I came home, I went to my computer and saw buying and downloaded theme. My daughter didn’t know about that, she just pressed buttons.. So I immediately went to refund request. But today I got “no” from author, because he doesn’t care of my issue and my problem, he doesn’t care of helping people, who really need his help. I don’t need that theme, it was purchased accidentally but nobody cares. It’s a pity. I thought and I knew, that Jobify support is the best one, but was I wrong. Is it so hard to help one person and give his money back? You can block my purchase number that I don’t give that theme anybody. And I wouldn’t do it anyway. My issue is not standard, I didn’t bought this theme, play with it for a month and try to give it back. I didn’t do that! So why can’t you help me?

1)You do not need the Listing Payments plugin if you get the Wp Job Manager Bundle. The theme will work perfectly fine with WC Paid Listings which is included with the WP Job Manager bundle. That is what we use in our demo.
2)This is configured from the settings. You can adjust this and have the same layout as our Classic demo. As for the jobs present in the homepage, that is generated by a widget. You can add it to the homepage. All the content on the Classic demo is present in the Extended demo, we just chose to show variety between the two.
3)You do no need to use the WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin. You can use it if you wish if you want to charge Recurring payments for submissions.
As the WC Paid Listings plugin only charges a one time fee.
Should you want to charge users recurring subscriptions, you can integrate the plugin.

Unfortunately, we have not tested this 3rd-party plugin with Jobify. WC Paid Listings from our experience will only work with Official WooCommerce extensions, not 3rd-party plugins as we guarantee it works.
