1. You’ll need to change your theme skin from “Material” to “ascend” in the Salient options panel > General settings tab

2. add this into the custom css box in your Salient options panel:

Thanks! #2 worked great. As for the first one, I changed it to ascend and the top bar was too small for the text since I made a large phone number at the top. In addition, on mobile, there was a gap between the nav and the first page block and the secondary nav didn’t scroll with the user. I just basically need a way (on mobile) for the phone number to stay at the top.

Hey michellecmurphy17, in order to have the phone number stuck to the top of the screen on mobile devices would require some custom modding as unfortunately there’s no built in theme option as of now. You could probably find a free plugin to add a top bar and stop using the Salient secondary header. A line of css would then only be needed to position the third party bar correctly which I could provide

Where are you trying to add them? There’s regular social links available to insert in the header navigation/footer and in the page content you can simply use the page builder icon element

I’m trying to add them in the centre of a webpage. I’ve got the social links working in the header nav which links to the profile pages of social media, this is what I want but how do I insert the same header nav social links into a row halfway down a page?

Whenever I add social buttons in a row, it adds sharing links in the page rather than linking to social profile pages.

there’s an element inside of the page builder just called “icon” http://themenectar.com/demo/salient-promo/icons/ you can use that to select any social network via the font awesome library, and then simply set a link on that icon.

Hey sam1994, there is no longer a cart.php file in the latest version of Salient – if you’re on 8.5.5 you still have one than the method you used to update the theme didn’t remove it correctly

A fresh extraction of salient.zip shows /salient/woocommerce/cart/cart.php. I’m using the latest available version.

Hey sam1994, that file was removed with the release of 8.5.4 and I just downloaded Salient from ThemeForest to verify it’s still not there in 8.5.5 https://imgur.com/a/8Z62w I’m not sure why or how your download could have it, but it needs to be deleted in order to work correctly with the new WooCommerce update. When you check the style.css file in the version you downloaded does it also say 8.5.5?

Nectar I appreciate you looking into it. For some reason every time I add the contact form and try to use this code it doesn’t affect it or it forces it scroll to the bottom of the screen collapsing the entire home page.

I see it says wpcf7 but what should the name of the contact form be if I want to make sure it calls the right one?

Its only when I try to add the contact form 7 into it. I can’t add it live because it looks horrendous on the home page and completely collapses it. I submitted a ticket inside of Ticksy with my login. Please give it a look when you get the chance. Its something I’ve never seen before.

The biggest thing I am trying to accomplish is making the contact form look similar to the old in terms of it stacking in 3 columns horizontally instead of vertical because it creates a huge for vertical space.

4-1. Twitter stopped allowing the share count data to the public a couple years ago, the share count now it populated only from the sites that allow access to that data. There’s also other sharing styles available that don’t show the count at all because of this

Hey mrlucas87, the option I was referring to back then did indeed get added in 8.5.4: https://imgur.com/a/Rrcw1 and in the last comment I was mentioning that the option has no known issues when you set it to dark. Do you currently have that option set to dark on your page?

Only the off canvas menu styles “slide out from right” and “slide out from right hover” can vertically center the submenu items – but they require the material skin to work like that. Unfortunately the fullscreen off canvas menu can’t vertically center the items within a submenu without some custom modding as of now

Actually, I was able to fix it! But now the same problem exists on my “blog” page, seen here:

I know if I’m able to input the css to be ‘padding-top: 0px’ this will stop it, but I’m not sure the exact css code to enter, or where!

Hi, That option does exist, but it’s very limited. Ideally, I’d like to show a square, jumbo button with see-through-extra-color-gradient-1 so that it looks consistent with the rest of the page. This one looks round and in 1 color. Thoughts?
