My widgets.php page is not working. It’s throwing a js error from admin.js “wpColorPicker is not a function” and none of the widget collapsible sections will open up. Any idea what’s going on here or how to fix it? I am stumped.

SPAM EMAIL ATTACK from contact forms. I’m getting 10+ spam emails per day from my contact forms. How can I prevent bots from filling out these forms and filling my inbox with spam?

There are a couple of steps you can take to prevent spam, but as soon as spam bots have your email address it’s really hard to eliminate it.
Please take a look at these steps or these steps to install spam preventions which are for the Contact Form 7 plugin.

Yes this is possible. Please select the “Front Page Alternative Slider” in the Page Attributes metabox on the right side of the screen. A new metabox will appear above the page builder grid where you can add the Revolution Slider ID to display on the page.
Hi, I’m really happy with your theme and I already finished my website. I’ve got a really good speed quote at gtmetrix and pingdom. 93% and load time under one second! But now I installed for testing purposes woocommerce, deleted it later, ‘cause at the end don’t need it. Now I’ve a lot of new shit in the header slowing down my site. I could vomite…... Please give me only a hint in which file the header scripts are called so I can delete what I don’t need… Thank you.

Can you provide me a url to your website? I will take a closer look to the scripts in the head section of your website.
Simply cut out some scripts you don’t need is not going to work that easily with software. All our theme scripts are defined inside the functions.php and are required to run the theme, cutting out scripts here will break the theme.
The rest of the scripts are coming from plugins, so my advice is to de-activate plugins you don’t need and you will see the amount of script in the header will reduce.

Please navigate to the “Punch Fonts” tab in your admin menu and delete the font displayed there on the page. That will remove 2 or 3 scripts from the header.
The scripts with these ID’s (https://cl.ly/2U3l411L072Y) are coming from our theme and the plugins we’re using and can’t be removed, or you need to throw out all the plugins.
All other scripts you will find in the head section are coming from WordPress itself and not from the theme and most of it can’t be removed. The WP emoji scripts can easily be removed by this plugin. But I think it will not drastically increase the score on Gmetrix etc.
Please note that the percentage score in Gtmetrix and Pingdom is not only about the scripts in a website. The score is a sum of sever connection speed, amount of styles & scripts and image & content you’re using.

I have tried to download the wordpress file for installation and chrome says the zip is not good and blocked it. So I downloaded through safari but it’s not a zip file when I got to my download files. When I’m in the themes area of the development site, and I click to add new theme, there is not zip file available for me to upload – just a folder marked the landscaper – what did I do wrong? thanks!

This seems to be a Chrome issue only and Envato is currently working on it, hopefully this will be fixed very soon.
To still download the zip package in Chrome please navigate to the download page and download the “Installable WordPress files only”. When you see the blocking notice follow these steps.
This is the zip file you can upload in the WordPress area.

How do I add multi locations, is there a way to do conditional things in the forms so if they pick one location they get the email, etc…?

Is the initial issue of this message fixed?
Did you have updated the theme from a much older version to the latest version? In that case probably the maps API key field is now empty. Google Maps requires an API key to display the map on your website (since 2016), and our theme need to adapt these changes. If the API key input field under Appearance -> Customize -> Theme Options -> Custom -> Google Maps API key is empty the maps don’t work.
Please follow these steps closely to create a Google Maps API key for your website. You can add the key in the above described path.
Multiple locations is not possible with the default Google Maps widget. If you want this I recommend to install the “SiteOrigin Widget Bundle” and use the “SiteOrigin Google Maps”. With this widget you can create a map with multiple markers and set content for each market such as address, phone number and email address.

Can you check the following things:
- Navigate to Settings -> Reading and check if the frontpage is selected for the static page option
- Navigate to Settings -> Permalink and click the “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the page.

Settings > permalink “Save changes” and I’ve done many variations of it. Although I’d like to keep the post name and category, and changing to plain somewhat works, no error 404 but it does not update properly.

Did you recently moved the WordPress installation folder on your server or installed any extra plugin? It’s strange because the theme doesn’t update or change the link structure of WordPress, which could end up with a 404 error.

Hi I like to thank the Qreative Themes for their prompt response despite my support ending months ago. They invested all their time into helping my problem as if I just purchased the theme from day 1.
Long story short it was my server’s problem! In cpanel there is an ModSecurity setting you can set for your domains. Go figure ~~ now I can update the theme again Happy customer!!

Since one day I try to translate the opening days from English to German, but no success. It’s a little bit annyoing. Tried with Loco plugin. No success. Translated directly in thelandscaper.pot file. No success. Is this hardcoded anywhere?
Finally found it. It’s hardcoded in the responsable widget php.

The weekdays are defined inside the widget file with translatable text strings. We recommend to translate the weekdays by using the .pot file (export as .po and .mo files) or with the Loco Translate plugin, and not by changing the widget file.
Please note that your translation will only display if also the WordPress site language has been changed under Settings -> General -> Site Language.

My client like very your theme, but he has one major request!
He wants to have on his homepage a full-screen picture/slider or video with the logo and menu bar at the bottom of the screen. Is that doable with your theme? I know that the picture/slider or video can be done with Slider Revolution or Layer Slider, but what about the menu bar?

Unfortunately these changes are not possible by default theme options, but a fullscreen picture or video will be possible.
If you’re looking for a fullscreen slider those plugin you mention are a good choice. Changing the menubar position is only possible with custom coding.

Hi! this is an awesome theme but a little complicated, I’m frustrated with the gallery, I have tried a many different ways to add the pagination in the gallery. In the Front page, where the section of Project Galleries it doesn’t appear. any help will be appreciated.

The pagination can be added to the grid via Ess. Grid -> Settings (button of the specific grid) -> Nav-Filter-Sort (horizontal tab).

The service links on page are not showing up. There is no custom menu widget. Also it was a bad idea to import the essential grid demo data. Completely different like on your demo. How can I setup the gallery like in your demo?

The Essential Grid has 2 import buttons (import full data and import 2.1.0 data) please do not use one of these. You have to upload the file and click the ‘read more’ button. Please follow the steps in our theme documentation closely to successfully import the file.
The custom menu widget is a default WordPress widget which has recently been renamed to ‘Navigation Menu’ widget.
If you have added this widget to the Page Sidebar widget area and the links still not show up please navigate to Appearance > Menu’s select the Services Menu from the select field and make sure the ‘Services Menu’ checkbox at the Display Location setting is checked.

I installed Loco and tried to translate it. Loco found thelandscaper.pot and I found weekdays, translated it and save. But it didnt translate weekdays on site.
