I have used this theme for about a year and i am very happy with it overall. I have just enabled SSL for my domain though and i get a mix content error. After several tries and using various WP plugins to fix the specific error i have pinpointed what is wrong, using the Google Console.
“Mixed Content: The page at ‘https://www.la-villa-theia.com/' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure image ‘http://themes.goodlayers2.com/hotelmaster/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/bg-pattern.png'. This content should also be served over HTTPS.”
The thing is that although i have been searching in the settings to change this image, i cannot find it anywhere and i believe it is somewhat of a bug. I am pretty sure i am not using this image anywhere.
I understand that my support has expired, but concerning the specific issue i believe it should be resolved in order to fix future issues for other clients.Thank you in advance

1. In Setting > General , make sure that you put ‘https’ in front of your WordPress Address and Site Address.
2. Use this plugin : https://wordpress.org/plugins/ssl-insecure-content-fixer/
3. Make sure that all your images that called via html code ( img tag ) in footer, sidebar, widget areas and in wp editor are called with https
I have already tried solutions 1 and 2. I also used other ssl fix plugins also to fix the issue without any result. I have also tried this https://wordpress.org/plugins/better-search-replace/ in order to change “http” with “https” The issue is that specific image only. Which i am not using anywhere in my website. That’s why i asked for your assistance. Is there anything else i should edit?

1. Nope, it won’t connect with third party system. However, the theme support iCal so if your systems support iCal, you may link them via this method. However, there’s a restriction for this, please read about it here : http://demo.goodlayers.com/document/hotelmaster (Hotel system > iCal section.)
2. via Respository manually, or you may also install Envato Market toolkit as well
3. You may use third party plugin for this.

However, about the detail that your site is following GDPR, you can create static pages with those content and you may put it in your main menu for footer directly to let customers read about those infos.
To ensure that the data will be securely transferred, you can use https in this case.

I have a pre-sale question. We are using the channel-management software of Hostaway for our B&B with seven rooms. Can this booking module integrate with Hostaway? do you have customers that have done this and is it working. Hostaway support iCal I believe. Now Hostaway syncs all calendars between Airbnb, booking.com, expedia etc. Pleased to hear.

The whole channel management can’t be integrated with the theme. It’s not possible to do so.
However, this theme supports iCal so you may use iCal feature to sync rooms. BTW, there’re some limitations to iCal, please read this first > http://demo.goodlayers.com/document/hotelmaster (In Hotel System > iCal section.)
