Hello, I just purchased the Artday for Wordpress theme. I need that for functionality, but I prefer the style/font choices that are in the ArtDay stand alone theme. Is there a way I can get the stylesheet for that – so I can make mine look similar? Thanks.

Well all the styles are included with the theme. You can find them in your theme in style.css file. But fonts and colors you can manage from your dashboard in theme options page. When you are logged in at the bottom you’ll see ARTDAY tab. Let me know if you find it.

I too am having a problem with Slider Revolution. Buttons on the slider revolution settings are not working such as Media Library, Save Settings, Preview. So I can’t edit any slides. Also it tells me i need to activate the plugin, i am not able to do that even manually. However it says if it came under a theme bundle i shouldn’t have to experience this.

this issue come from some outdated libraries used in Revolution Slider. Well we a re waiting for plugin update now. But if you want you can send an email to us and we’ll update it manually directly on your website.
And about activation, you do not need to worry about license keys or activation plugins ask you for. They are bundled plugins and we try to keep them up to date with each theme update.

I have a question: how I can increase product image quality in Featured collection category and in the shop (front first product image). It was compressed by system when downloaded with not high quality and first look on the art is not good. https://modernartpaintings.us/shop/ When open product in the shop – inside images have high quality (not compressed) and look very good. Its Ok. https://modernartpaintings.us/product/abstract-acrylic-painting-on-canvas-16x20/So, how can we keep image quality good when download (Product image), change the code, settings…?

Thanks – I tried this but it didn’t work. The ‘UNCATEGORIZED’ category can’t be deleted, so it’s always displayed on the ‘PURCHASE’ page. For now, I just renamed this category to ’.’, so it’s less visible on the page.

Do you have and email I can contact you directly on? I have purchased and installed Artday but it is saying that the revolution slider is not activated. How do I activate it? There is an option to register it but this on applies to direct purchases.
I am also wanting to use the main contact page but it looks different and doesn’t show the three pictures.

Simplest way to update this plugin (if you have already installed latest version of the theme) is to delete it and then to install again, in this case the theme will install automatically latest version.

Remember 2 months back when I was quite suprise by the quality of the PSD templates provided, or the shortcuts using CSS?
Well turns out I was 100% right. The person in charge of the CSS made huge mistakes dealing with Bootstrap @media queries. There are ”@media only screen and (max-width : 992px)” everywhere in your code, while Bootstrap uses the usual (max-width : 991px) and (min-width : 992px). Same happens with @media only screen and (max-width : 768px) { ... It’s just awful. It’s everywhere.
I’m not sure you fully understand the implications, but basically you serve media queries that “drop” one pixel short of Bootstrap’s.
I, again, ask you to sort out your CSS in the upcoming release or I’ll have to review your theme as it is right now.

The “ws-big-product” class prints 2 products per row on anything bigger than 768px. But the picture the PHP pushes is the regular “-300×300.png 300w”, therefore displaying a blurry picture in my front end (on 1024+, the picture is 551 px wide, not 300px).
Also, the Artday Child Theme 1.1.1 options seem to bypass the customize options provided by woocommerce under the Customize theme options. “Products per row How many products should be shown per row?” setting is bypassed by the CSS columns rules, so there are no way to bring clean 2 columns with quality pics. It’s even the case on http://wossthemes.com/artday/shop/ . “BLUE MOUNTAINS” & “CREATIVE GEOMETRY” are blurry, cause having 300×300 pics displayed as 551×551.
What are my options to provide my client with clean two column artworks?

Until the newest version of woocommerce. There was an option where was possible to change the dimensions of the images and to crop them exactly as you wanted. But in woocommerce 3 this option was deleted. Now they are cropped somehow automatically. But also can be cropped from customizer. Well I think you should simply increase the cropped size of the thumbnails from customizer and this will solve the issue.

How do you explain that the Artday Child Theme 1.1.1 options overide the customize options available under Themes, preventing columns options ? And more important, how do you fix it? It’s such a basic given in WooCommerce, why remove it?

We puchased the template but it has issues with Font’s display in Chrome. Fonts are not appearing right and we are unable to adjust WooCommerce Image resolution for thumbnail etc.

We used PT Serif and Montserrat font in our theme, both of them from Google Fonts, so from there you can download them. But you can simply use them with the theme because they are connected by default with theme installation.
