can i see user types in all user tab? can i change it hire to candidate?

yes, “to hire” is a employer, and “for a job” is registered as candidate

if i will not buy Resume Manager plugin, workscout dont have ability for saving resume. Is it true? and also candidate dashboard,

It’s true, all resumes related functionality is provided by that add-on, it’s explained in item description

Hi! My question refers to typography. When I create lists in text – line height is very narrow and it looks not nice. You can see what I mean on this page of my site: https://mobitalents.com/2018/05/25/how-to-find-a-job-in-germany-for-a-foreigner/ How to increase line height within lists, especially numberes lists? I’ve tried to find something in Cutomize section of Dashboard but haven’t found anything….

Hi

try to add to Additional CSS in Customize

.type-page ol li, .type-page ul li, .post-content ol li, .post-content ul li, .resume_description ol li, .job_description ol li, .resume_description ul li, .job_description ul li {
    line-height: 24px;
}

I’ll need this theme translated to another language – pt_BR. Also in other currency. Will these changes be possible to set up using PoEdit? Will I need to have anything else other than the Core Add-on Bundle? Thanks!

Hi

you can change currency in option, and all strings are translatable in PoEdit (you can also use LocoTranslate) http://www.docs.purethemes.net/workscout/knowledge-base/theme-translation/ . You don’t need anything else except Core Bundle

I purchased the theme and Core Bundle, installed all and tried the translation with Loco Translate. Seems that the theme is not recognizing the new language. Could you help me please?

Sure, send me please access to your admin in Dashboard via Support Tab, I’ll check it

I have noticed a bug. If you forget to input a field. Say, Rate/h (maximum): then go and publish the ad, the ad shows as it should. However if you then go back into Edit job, input a value in that field and then update, in the job overview box the value does not show.

Does it show for other jobs where you put that value initially? Are you sure it’s just not hidden in options (Customize -> Jobs Options -> Single Job Options)?

Hi. I have sent you a mail.

Hello, I need to present the website in Chinese. Will all of the content be converted to Chinese?

Hi

it’s possible but you need to translate it yourself http://www.docs.purethemes.net/workscout/knowledge-base/theme-translation/

I am getting this google maps error. I am thinking google are looking to start charging. It’s asking to setup a billing account

Could you please send me the demo data?

Hi

There’s a Setup Wizard in theme (you can run it in Appearance -> Setup Wizard) that installs demo content.

Hi,

The website ( google maps ) was working perfect. But now i got an error that the maps is not working oeps! Someting went wrong. In the console i see:

Google Maps API error: InvalidKeyMapError https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#invalid-key-

Ive checked the api settings and everyting is the same.

But for no reason the google maps stopt woring.

Thanx

Have you added any other plugin recently that might be also using Google Maps? The Flamingo for CF7 might cause that issue, I’ve seen it already couple times

Pre-sales question: I am unclear what in the demo is included in the theme and what is added via plugins that may have to be purchased. I saw the information about some plugins being optional (and paid) but what in the demo is a result of theme and what is plugins that need to be added??? I need a jobs board for the entertainment industry and obviously resumes (or CV), headshots, etc. are important. Can I assume that Workscout will allow me to do this without then also having to purchase extra plugins. I’m specifically looking at the CV functions. Can my users (producers and execs) download a potential hire’s CV and/or resume? Thank you, Mark

Hi,

If you want the same content as the demo page, you need to buy also some additional plugins, WorkScout is based on WP Job Manager and it’s add-ons. The free version of WP Job Manager allows for listing jobs and job submissions, If you want to have resumes, application, bookmarks, job alerts and other features you can see on a demo, the best way would be to buy the Core Add-on Bundle for 125$ https://wpjobmanager.com/add-ons/bundle/ – it’s all clearly explained in WorkScout description.

WP Job Manager is owned by Automattic so the company that ‘owns’ WordPress, I don’t think there’s a better guarantee that that plugin will work and will be maintained, can’t say that about other solution from developers who might abandon their project if they will stop selling. Using WPJM you are always sure you can change the theme any moment and all your data and jobs and everything else will still work. With other solution you might be stuck or have a lot of work to migrate your data.

Thank you. That’s all a bit too pricey for a non-profit. Appreciate the quick reply. Congratulations on your success – awesome.

Thanks!

Hello, is it possible to filter the search results by location radius…like “2 miles around new york”?

Yes we have option for that

i install the theme. But tthere is no background picture? http://rxkariyer.com/

Hi

Run the Setup Wizard (Appearance -> Setup Wizard) but the images from demo are not included as those are copyrighted stock photos and license doesn’t allow for redistribution, blurred placeholders are used instead

Can you confirm what the “Dashboard page” template is used for? Is it the WooCommerce shortcode dashboard without content? Many thanks

It’s page template to set for any page that you want to have the user menu navigation on

Hi, I’m trying to sort job listings on both home page and browse job page following date posted and ignore the featured job listings? How can i do that? Tks!

You can change the order in Customize -> Job Options -> Jobs List

Hi, I have some presale questions.

1. Is there a feature for me to add/manage ads? 2. Does the theme allow for “Featured” jobs? 3. Under “Job Page”, is it possible to remove the “Apply with Facebook” button without custom code? 4. Under “Job Page”, is it possible to remove the Job location section without custom code? 5. Are there alternatives to paid listing feature other than buying from wp job manager plugin?

Thanks!

Check now, I’ve featured one of the listing

Oh awesome thanks for that. Looks great. One last question: can I make the “Browse Jobs No Map” page as the home page (without custom code)?

That won’t be a problem.

For all the functionality that we see in your demo(s), have you used wp job manager plugins, which are sold separately?

Are those plugins required for the site to function? What are you offering to make the site work, without purchasing those premium annually charged plugins?

Hi, there is a list of compatible add-ons: https://wpjobmanager.com/add-ons/

You don’t have to purchase all. WorkScout will works without them but with limited functionality e.g. there won’t be email alerts on jobs for job seekers.

Hello, i see there is a new role to choose from, Headhunter.

Whats the difference between headhunter and recruiter in the theme ?

Why isnt headhunter giving any role ?

What to do if i want to keep only recruiter/candidat in the sign up menu ?

Thanks

I’m sorry, it’s added there by mistake, I modified the file for someone else and totally forget about it.

You can remove it from workscout/inc/wp-job-manager.php:834 and workscout/inc/registration.php:129

I’ll post quick updated that removes it, sorry about that
