I put a recent entries widget on the sidebar and a recent comments widget in the footer (and tried it in the sidebar too) but the text and links are super small – so wondering how to change the font and links in the siderbar and footer. Example can be seen at girlxoxo.com/11-things-this-week-7/

Hi! Right, I will add an option for that in an upcoming update. Until then, you can add the following code into Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and change the font size value to whatever you like:

It’s very strange because I can’t see this issue on my test site when I am adding any shortcodes.

Anyways, I see you are adding images via WP Bakery Page Builder, which is adding those shortcodes. I think a solution for you would be to add the “More Tag” right before the image that is outputting the shortcode.

Any content that you are adding after the “More Tag”, will not be displayed in the excerpt.

Here are the answers to your questions:

1. There is currently no option for a sticky header.

2. Actually you can display the categories horizontally in the home top sidebar (the widget has an option to display 3,4 or 5 categories per row). But I just realised there is a mistake in the CSS code so that’s why they are currently displaying vertically. Thanks for the info, I will fix this in the next theme update! If you need a fix right now, let me know, I’ll send you the CSS code.

3. You mean just an image gallery? I’m not sure exactly how or where you would like to display those images but WordPress itself includes a widget called Gallery and you can add image galleries into any sidebar like for example the Home Top sidebar.

4. You can add buttons by using the button shortcode http://marni.redsun.design/shortcodes/ and adding it into a text widget or to a featured box (see Demo 1 – Featured Box “Sale – Shop Now”)

5. If you are just looking for images with buttons for advertising, you can do that via the button shortcodes (see 4.). If you are looking for a more advanced option to add advertisements, I recommend adding an Ad plugin, like for example https://wordpress.org/plugins/ad-inserter/

Do you have any plugins activated other than the ones recommended by the theme? If yes, try temporarily deactivating them to see if that fixes the problem.

If that doesn’t work, I recommend getting in touch with your Host. They might be able to tell you where the error is exactly coming from.

Thank you for your help and for your work. i’ve a last information to ask. Widget “Marni – Categories” always show 3 same categories on my right bar homepage. Any settings Include or exclude by ID i set, there is the 3 same categories showing up. Any idea?

You can add the Newsletter widget into the top sidebar, which displays right above the posts. At the moment the widget doesn’t display nicely (input field and button are 100% width) but I will add proper styling to the next theme update. And if you wish you can get in touch after your purchase and I’ll give you some CSS code to style the widget nicely right away.

1. The theme does not include an option for tab bars menu.
2. This is just a widget.
3. There is no option for a sticky header.

The social share buttons also display on single post pages, at the bottom right corner of the post.

Yes, you can set the layout for archive pages independently from the home page. So you can for example select standard layout for the home page and the masonry layout for all archive pages (= pages that include all posts from a category, from a tag, from an author, search results page,...).

The theme does not include an option to display the title below the featured image. But this would be a pretty easy customization in the theme files and if you wish I can send you a modified single post file in a “child theme” (what is a child theme: http://www.wpbeginner.com/glossary/child-theme/ ).
