Hello! I was exploring the Discy demo and found the theme to be simply brilliant. I would really love to use it for a project of mine.

Thing is the project currently uses Sabai Discuss and has a large amount of questions/answers.

Do you know if there is a way to migrate all questions and answers from Sabai to Discy? It would be really, really helpful!

First things first… I will start with the most important request:

1. Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee add whats app on the share questions: Questions settings>>Share setting: Facebook, Twitter, G+ What’s App!!!

2. What happens when one user follows another user? Do they get special notifications?

3. What happens when a user follows a question, do they get notifications about answers?

4. Also, how do I replace the follow + sign on a question the words “follow question”?

5. On edit profile >> social media links, users are adding their social media usernames instead of the full url. Can you put a help text that indicates paste url?

6. I realised that links posted in the answers open in the same tab, can these links open in new window to reduce bounce rate and increase time spent on the site?

Also, my users tell me they do not like the private message system due to privacy concerns because it uses their email…

Could you give us a built-in message system that doesn’t use email? the current way seems outdated and strange…

It is a vital feature this theme needs.

Maybe just make your theme support BuddyPress in the future? and we can find a plugin for this ourselves… but I know you rather not which is also ok.

Suggestion, Leave the Verified account Check mark beside the username at all times, same way Twitter does it. It is very important for my users to be able to clearly see who is verified, can you put it with this update?

Hi there – this really is an awesome theme – really well done – BUT – there are a few irksome odd elements that can be quite annoying – we’ve had a recurring issue with “sorry, this is a private question” (404 page) – after using the “anonymous” question feature – i’ve gone back and double checked the settings, and the question is not set to private – (just asked anonymously) yet, doesnt’ show up on the front end for the general public. This can be quite vexing and time consuming to trouble shoot – as well as costly – as we’re promoting the questions with paid media – only to find out our readers can’t see the question. (e.g. – pinterest + FB promotions that lead to a 404 page – even though the question settings are set to “public” (unless there are additional layers of privacy associated with anonymous questions that I can’t quickly see)

I know there are tons and tons of settings for the theme – to accomodate a plethora of unique use cases, etc – but it feels to me like a simple toggle (private/public) should be sufficient to handle this – and yet, it’s happened 4 or 5 times already that a live question is mysteriously not available – even though it’s set to be. (i now make sure we log out after posting anything that’s going to be part of a paid campaign – just to triple check it’s viewable on the front end of the site)

Thanks – and again – it’s a great theme – but this can be quite a time drain – and there are various permutations to the problem above that crop up quite often.

DO you have a demo/ page which shows all the ad locations?

In regards to Kepolo’s question, Cometchat is the perfect plugin for what you are asking, it would be awesome if the 2codeThemes could make the Discy theme more compatible with Cometchat.

I would suggest for you to change Discy get avatar and profile to default functionality for the sake of compatibility with all plugins.

Example: get_avatar_url($user_id);

The notification panel stays open even after clicking away and scrolling on the page. Can it be auto-closed after you click away on the desktop?
