That’s the type of header you are using right now, it is showing the latest posts, you can change the header types from theme option panel and can play with the settings also from theme option panel, please check our option panel for settings

it’s something related with your wordpress as media library is part of wordpress core , but not with magplus theme, btw did you had reset your wordpress installation ?

I managed to customize it to my liking as the options are so many, but I had a question: today I received the e-mail warning that the theme was updated.
How can I download it and update it without breaking any of the stuff that I already set up (sliders, menus, etc), and I already set up SSL (through Really Simple SSL plugin). What should I do with the new files, so that nothing gets messed up?

We do have auto update feature for MagPlus, please go to theme option > Auto update and put your api key and username, and after that update notification will popup and you can update with one click

Can you clarify me on this? I just updated the Magplus theme as you saw, but the Magplus AMP plugin remained on v.1.1, with no update option for 1.2.
I accessed the plugin site and it says it’s version 0.7.2 (https://wordpress.org/plugins/amp/), so I’m not sure it’s how it should be done.

Please delete that older version of magplus-amp plugin 1.1 and again reinstall the plugin from wordpress dashboard, you will get newer version of plugin automatically

Liked this theme…..please suggest good cache plugin(free) because my site mobile pagespeed benchmark is low (below 40) even though I am using w3 cache. Please add number of followers in stead of join followers in social widgets. Also after activating amp inside theme, do I need to install amp WordPress plugin? You have not provided amp settings apart from logo, footer and basic stuff…...like newspaper magazine. Amp is activated but not validated. Couldn’t find tutorial in YouTube videos which you have made. Theme is nice and it can become best if you do little polishing. I will recommend this theme to my friends and will give a detailed review on YouTube. Thank you for reading this long comment.

You can use https://wordpress.org/plugins/w3-total-cache/ and page speed depends upon various factors, like your image size, server response time etc, there is nothing to do with the theme, and for AMP i think you are using older version of our AMP plugin, please update the version to 1.1, we have fixed all the related validation issues, please check our documentation for all the related videos https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ynateB8D-Bo&list=PLXrHHgyJRjXPWKqWUrIWGbVDcapMmxGh7

i update theme but plugins not updating how to update plugins?
Not all plugins can be updated (example: Visual Composer) by you. As Envato doesn’t allow us to provide license keys. However, we provide updated version of plugin when required along with our theme update.

You can. But few plugins you can’t. Those will be updated with Theme’s update. For those to be updated, you’d need a license key. That key we’re not allowed to deliver to customers due to mass piracy issue.

This is a great theme. I have got similar other themes like Newspaper. I am using all of them for our digital media publishing company.
Only thing that stops this theme from becoming best is the APPROVAL WORKFLOW. This is one feature that is missing from all similar themes, not only this. I know there are plugins available. But all good plugins are paid. And after paying for the theme, paying for plugins is an overkill.
It will be great to have CUSTOMIZABLE MULTIPLE WORKFLOWS feature in the theme. We will be glad to pay little more of course for this feature.

Let me explain the scenario.
In our media platform we have multiple authors. We need a workflow for approving their newly added stories. This is usually done by the site admin.
We also need a separate workflow for approving any changes to an already published story. This can be done by someone in the editor role.
These workflows can have different number of steps. This is a very common scenario in news publishing.
We need something like “Oasis Workflow” plug-in. It is simple to implement and easy to understand. But it is a bit overpriced.
