Heya….hopefully a couple of simple questions….Is there the ability to “turn off” any of the modules, so they’re not used? and Geolocation..any plans to add an “around me” type mapping page? thanks

Hi!

This template is a raw HTML template. It is just a set of HTML and CSS files for frontend, so you can modify it and remove all the unwanted elements from every page.

We are adding Geolocation option to our ‘Requests list’, will discuss it and maybe implement in one of the future updates.

Best Regards, Crumina

Good luck with the WP Version.I’ll be its first buyer. :-)

Thank you very much :)

Good Day, I would like to know if there are any plans to update the Bootstrap files to the latest version? Also, I would like to know if there are any new UI components such as submenu’s, search dropdowns etc. planned for a future update?. Anyways, I look forward to your response, thank you in advance.

Hi,

Yes, we plan to update Bootstrap files , we will also consider adding new UI components for future updates. But our frontend developer is on a vacation now, and our team is fully busy with Olympus WordPress release, so the next update isn’t expected earlier than in a month.

Best regards, Crumina

Hey Crumina – one last release date question – do you expect Olympus to be ready for purchase (as in – live on TF) – in the next week? We’ve waited a long time to use this on a new BP community (with 25K + members on Facebook) – but we have an August 5th launch date – and can’t wait any longer. (I would love to use Olympus – but the other folks involved want to use another BP “viral” theme here on TF – I’m going to lose the battle if it’s not ready to buy within the week)

Please let us know – if not – no worries – but a firm answer – with claerity of communication – would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi,

At the moment almost all planned features are ready and we are in the process of adding content, testing and fixing bugs. Additionally we have to create promo and write theme documentation before submitting on TF. I’m afraid we won’t finish all this in a week.

Best regards, Crumina

Thanks very much for the clear, specific and actionable information – very helpful – much appreciated (I’m sure by other folks who have been checking the comments as well)

While we’re going to use a different BP theme/framework for the project based on the timeline above – I’m happy to buy Olympus when it’s released – and I’m sure – find a way to put it to good use somewhere else :)

I’m waiting for WP version hope it will release soon. If possible after release please consider to integrate myCRED plugin with buddypress and bbpress.

Hi!

Thank you for the suggestion! We will discuss it and probably will integrate this plugin not in the initial but in next versions of the theme.

Best Regards, Crumina

A version for SNGINE ?

Hi!

Maybe, but not in the nearest future.

First we are finishing WordPress with all the requested extensions and then we will discuss other platforms.

Best Regards, Crumina

Does this have any features that allow you to add paid premium account? Also, is there a dark skin to the website by chance?

Hi,

Unfortunately, the answer on both questions is ‘no’. All available features you can see on our demo version.

Best regards, Crumina

Any updates on the WP version of Olympus? You’ve been on the “finish line” for weeks and weeks – does that mean we can expect it will be for sale really, really soon? ;-)

Hi,

Olympus WP is too close to the release date and we promise it will be on ThemeForest soon:)

Best Regards, Crumina.

Hello there, in your future updates, can you consider two or more of the following suggestions:

  • Expand the Merchandise component to include: * Checkout review * Checkout complete * Invoice page * Merchandise List * User Orders List * User Wishlist * Compare Products * Order Tracking
  • Components: * Steps (for Form wizards) * Countdown widget (for shop deals) * Toast Notification / Alert box
  • Basic Documentation templates
  • Sidebar column to filter search results

Thanks.

Hello!

Thank you for the suggestions! I’ve noted them for future updates and will discuss with the team and designer.

Best Regards, Crumina

Is there a way to search / filter USERS profiles based on location and assigned categories? Like skills?

Hi!

No, there is no such an option.

Want to note that this template is a raw HTML template. It is just a set of HTML and CSS files for frontend. In other words, it is not a ready-to-install theme. It has no database, no user admin interface, no backend functionality as in WordPress themes.

Best Regards, Crumina

Hey all – one of the plugins you may want to test with Olympus for future updates is the geodirectory plugin – (for building a directory based site on Buddypress) – I have a fair amount of subscribers/clients who are building directory sites – and many are incorporating buddypress – (the top BP theme on TF has a demo/example of this you can peek at now :) – the geoplugin is free to test – so you may want to look at that for future compatability with this awesome looking theme – as it will open up a plethora of potential purchases – from the many folks who are buying directory themes here, already.

PS – is July still a reasonable expectation for purchase? Thanks very much!

Hi!

The initial version of the Olympus WordPress will support BuddyPress, bbPress, Woocommece and Events calendar plugins.

There are a lot of requests for other plugins and extensions compatibility and we just cannot implement all of them in the first version. So we’re gathering them and will implement by turn in following theme versions.

Best Regards, Crumina

PS Let’s say we are doing our best to finish it this month ;)

When the WP version?

Coming Soon

Dark-mode please? :)

Hi,

Thank you for your interest!

For the moment there is no dark version in plans.

Best regards, Crumina

Hello, if i require to keep the icon menu orange or colored for the page, how do i do that? meaning if i`m in the NEWSFEED page, i want the icon for the newsfeed in the menu to stay orange as in ative & not only on hover.

tried many possibilities yet nothing worked. Can you assist on this?

On a side note! GREAT JOB!

Hi,

Thanks! :)

Add class current-menu-item to the current menu element. https://d.pr/free/i/mdTfl3

And add the following styles to your stylesheet:

.left-menu .current-menu-item .left-menu-icon {fill:#ff5e3a}

Hi Crumina, I’d like to know when I can buy your buddypress theme.

Hi,

It will be on TF soon, as we are already on the finish line of developing process. But we won`t give any precise ETA, because every time we give it, it gets postponed due to unpredictable reasons, that don’t depend on us.

Best Regards, Crumina.

Will will be able to publish it in July?

Hi!

There is every chance it will, but we do not promise anything.

Best Regards, Yulia

Hi, When is your next update?

Hi!

We’ve just released a major update about a month ago. Now we are gathering new requests and reports about issues and bugs to fix. As soon as we gather enough for update, we will do it.

Best Regards, Crumina

Hi guys, awesome theme, but I noticed there is a difference in implementation of header in 51-OlympusCompanyPageHome.html and 01-LandingPage.html:

https://i.imgur.com/VAH5uBP.jpg

Why does OlympusCompanyPageHome.html use a background image with an overlay color? I don’t like this approach and was wondering how I can use the 01-LandingPage.html approach in OlympusCompanyPageHome.html. I think the right way would be to define the background color in CSS instead of in image.

Would be nice if you guys could make this consistent. Thanks!

Hi!

Yes, you are right, we will improve this in the update. Thank you for the report!

Best Regards, Crumina

Is there a way to fix this myself since I am close to release. I’m not sure when I can expect the update. Any ETA?

Hi!

Please submit a ticket here and we will provide you with the solution.

Best Regards, Crumina

For when Wordpress?

Hi,

We do our best to finalize this theme in the nearest time and we are on the finish line now. Hopefully soon it will be released on TF.

Best Regards, Crumina.

Very nice work. We are curious when this would available for Wordpress. If it was Wordpress we would get it immediately. Could you please let me know if you plan the have the following features?

1. Classifieds/Marketplace. Allows users to post classified items and/or sell their items directly on the website.

2. Places. This would be a wonderful addition. Allow users to post a place (such as Restaurant, Park etc), and let other users post reviews for that place. Fairly simple.

3. Monetization. The ability to somehow monetize through the selling of subscription packages with certain limitations, such as number of friends one can add, and so on.

There is a Social Networking plugin for Wordpress called Peepso that does this (except Places), but it’s not nearly as good looking as yours. We really look forward to your Olympus design with Wordpress. Will buy it for sure.

Hi!

The initial version of the Olympus WordPress will support BuddyPress, bbPress, Woocommece and Events calendar plugins.

After it is finished and released, we will gather customers requests for other plugins and extensions integrations, but for the moment we cannot promise to implement everything from your list, since every point must be investigated independently, and first we need to contact the plugins devs first to agree the terms of integration.

Best Regards, Crumina

Thanks for the info. Ready to fully support the effort. It looks beautiful so far what you guys are doing. Do you have a date around when the first WordPress/Buddypress version will be released?

Thank you! :)

We are finishing it and doing our best to release asap, but we do not want to name the terms – it’s some kind of superstition ;)
