Hi again ThemeNectar, I hope you are well! Apologies if this comes through twice – tried writing a comment earlier today, but not sure if it posted or not. Anyway… re: my site, https://www.askherb.info/ I’m using the mouse based 3d parallax scene, and if you look at the bottom of the scene (just above the submenu), on page load, when the 3d scene is going from darkened to light, the bottom row of 1 or 2 pixels are unaffected by whatever darkens the rest of the scene on load. If you refresh the page, you’ll notice this row of undarkened pixels kind of stands out in a bad way. Not sure what is causing this, or how to fix. Any ideas would be most appreciated. Thanks much!

i use flipbox directly on homepage with vertical flip effect. on chrome on my mac it looks wonderful, on safari not. even on my iphone (safari and chrome) it is not perfect! it get stuck in the flip-movement… how to solve it to get a smoother effect?
i already opened a ticket (#1624892) – already everything updated, no plugin conflict and so on, please take a look at it!

Just one slight issue i’m trying to solve here: on my page https://www.askherb.info/ I have a mouse-based 3d parallax scene, and below that, a submenu. On page load, when the 3d scene layers are fading in, the lowest row of 1-2 pixels on the bottom of the 3d scene is bright, at the moment where the rest of it is fading in… Have been looking around, but unable as of yet to find a property I can adjust to remedy this. Any ideas?

thanks as always for the quick reply! I’m wondering if there’s any chance I could disable the grey loading screen without updating to the beta. Hoping to avoid the possibility of needing to make more adjustments (in case the beta changes other things too).. I am comfortable editing code. If there is a relatively simple edit(s) I can make, I am game to do so. but if it’s too involved or just not feasible, I understand as well. Please LMK what you think thanks!

I’ve used Salient for several sites (love it) and I’m only having this particular issue on one site. When I switch themes, to a WordPress basic theme, I no longer have the issue that’s described below.
1. I can’t preview changed pages, when you hit preview, it will take you to the preview link like usual, which would be something like http://domain.com/blog/test-page/?preview_id=8455&preview_nonce=5e90aa0e9d once that shows up in the browser bar, it will update the url path to the actual page, example: http://domain.com/blog/test So, the preview result is landing you back on the published page and not showing you the preview page.
2. If I use the search feature then the search string in the url path will update the actual url path. For an example a search query of “bike” results in http://domain.com/blog/?s=bike. Once that url path is displayed in the browser bar it with the redirect to http://domain.com/blog Basically it looks like an string is added to the url path, then it takes it out.
Again, this only happens with the Salient theme. Were using a Windows Server and I banged my head on rewrite rules, thinking it was there. But after trying a couple Wordpress basic themes and everything working as it should. The only common dominator was Salient, when it was on, the results would go back to what I mentioned above.
I’m using Salient 8.5.6 for the site..
Any ideas on why this is happening?

Hi, in your portfoilo options there is a option for a lightbox to open up when you click on the thumbnail…which is great but can we have more than one image assioated to that particar project (thubmail), I could have aboout 3 images?
I would prefer this instead of someone havging to click into a single portfolio page every single time?

Unfortunately there’s no option for that as of now, full galleries would need to be kept on the project pages themselves. I’ve noted your +1 for the idea to make that possible through a lightbox

is it possible to have content expand to the left and right on a boxed layout? When I do negative left/right margins, the content wont expand beyond the container. So basically, I’d like content to overlap the boxed layout background.

For that you would need to remove the hidden overflow when using the boxed container, however it could cause some layout inconsistencies
If you want to try, add this into the custom css box in your Salient options panel:
body #boxed .container-wrap {
overflow: visibile;
}

Yeah, that is a little troublesome to get the responsive nature down in mobile. I think I’ll try a 1/6 + 2/3 + 1/6 layout with full content and make the outside sixths a mock background. Thanks for help! Looking forward to the theme update!

Hi, I am wondering do you have problems with site speed, as some reviews I was reading had that problem and some sites that I found online had site speed over 2 seconds. Theme seems amazing and I will gladly purchase it, if my site speed remains the same as it is now (0.8 sec)
