Yes it is possible to move the text part above the slider. This can be done by copying the single.php file in child theme and then moving the block which calls the slider.

Thank you for browsing the theme. Yes, it is compatible with Squirrly and other popular SEO plugins.
I do not recommend King Composer over Elementor. King Composer was added to this theme much before I found Elementor. So it was a bit late. Otherwise my first choice would be Elementor.
The theme is fully compatible with Elementor, but the Post Module Generator which comes with this theme is built for King Composer only. It can still be used via shortcodes if you are comfortable in some manual addition of shortcodes. In that case you can use Elementor’s Shortcode module and add the posts shortcode in it. Furthermore, you will need to build the Home page layouts manually and would not be able to import pre built layouts as they are made in King Composer.

One of the great features, for me, was the home page layouts. But I will probably work it out. The main things for me is that I can choose to create different layouts for different pages.
Example; If I would like full width, more full width, sidebar or no sidebar etc (not using css.) Is that possible on the pages and on the homepage?
I would use a homepage with text and images and then, with code show some of my post.
Is that hard to creat without the “pre built layouts”? I know there are some more plugins to fix it but I try to have as few as possible.

Yes you can choose page layouts (full width, no sidebar, or left/right sidebar per page using page options). You can create a Home page with full width and add text and images in it.
Using pre built layouts, the layout is imported in page editor. You can then delete, duplicate or modify layout elements as per equirements. You can also add custom text using the “Text” module of King Composer. If you intend to use Elementor, then you would not be able to import a layout. It will be required to manually create each section using post shortcodes.

Sometimes it is hard to remove codes etc. But I am going to produce my pages like drafts to begin with.

I would suggest creating Home page using KC with post modules in it. If you switch to classic mode of page editor, you shall see post shortcodes inside each KC block. You can copy those shortcodes and paste inside an Elementor page using Elementor’s shortcode module.
When using posts in Home page, it will be actually a dynamic page. As you add new posts, they will get updated on Home page.

Hello! must say I really like this theme and its the one of the best if not the best theme I have used thus far. I have one issue though, I can’t seem to edit the category and blog page of the theme. I want to be able to edit how posts are displayed in category and on blog page. Also, I want to be able to hide post views and display post excrepts on category and blog page. I have check everywhere and I can’t find where I can make these changes.

You can change the style of archive and blog page via WordPress admin’s Appearance > Theme Options > Blog > Archive Settings > Global Archives Template. Choose a desired template and adjust column settings, excerpt length etc. in this section.
In order to hide post views, un-check the “Post Views” option in this same page. Then Save Settings and check the site.

Thank you for purchasing the theme. The Schema properties for LocalBusiness or Corporation shall be added to a page or service relevant to business. Like, a contact page. You can add that by manually pasting the Schema HTML inside text mode of page editor. See reference markup at below links:

The built in Schema of the theme is for Blog or News Site. If this needs to be changed site wide, it will be required to modify core files.

Sorry I didn’t understood your query completely. It uses King Composer Page Builder (Not WP Bakery). With this theme, you get a Recipe Generator Module and the News Posts Editor module too. So, yes, you can generate post modules using the “NewsPlus Posts” or “Posts Slider” modules. If your query is different, please feel free to post again.

Dear Saurabh Sharma. I have two requests for the newsplus theme that I would gladly pay for renewal or update.
1. The site loads very slow and gets poor Page Speed Insight results, even with ads turned off and optimized images. I wonder if you have addressed any page load issues and/or with mobile versions of the theme?
2. The menu (nav) options are great. But when in mobile view there is not much control of what buttons show up. And, there is no way to display child categories/pages in mobile “hamburger bun” mode—only top-level.

1. The site performance results will depend upon the images, content, server queries, and the performance of server too. The live demo of NewsPlus gives fairly good results if you test on GTMetrix or PageSpeed Insights.
2. Submenus also display in the responsive menu. You need to click on the down arrow button to reveal sub menu.

Regarding mobile optimization, I have used large image sizes on desktop. If used intermediate sizes, the mobile version gives good results too.

OK that fixed on desktop (browser window shrunk to mobile size) but on phone (tested on iPhone Safari) the arrows flip but do not display child buttons.

Thank you for purchasing the theme.
When you insert a pre built template, or use XML import, it will be required to assign categories to show posts from. If it shows “No posts found matching your criteria” text on front end, means the categories are not assign to that post module.
In order to choose categories, edit the “NewsPlus Posts” module in King Composer mode and assign appropriate categories tags, etc. inside the “Query” tab. Then save changes and check the site. It shall work.

That section can be created using the “Posts Slider” module in King Composer. I can create one such example in your Home page. For that, kindly send me your site URL and login details at xconsau[at]gmail[dot]com.
If you want to try it yourself, you can use a Posts Slider module and then choose number of slides as “3”. It will be required to hide post excerpt, date, category and author link in module settings to get the same result.

Thank you for purchasing the theme. Yes this is a known issue in latest versions of King Composer. Instead of using pre built template, try importing the XML file located inside your main_download/dummy_data/ folder. I will raise a ticket on King Composer forum and will update here as soon as I hear from the developer. I regret the inconvenience caused.

the food xml file doesnt include food demo found in your dummy data folder. After importing the food xml and realized it didnt include any of the food demo, I’ve went ahead and imported the default in case they may be just named incorrectly. The default demo states its already imported. Can you send me the dummy data xml file(s) for your food demo? Also, we want to use the recipe generator. Is this included or do we need to purchase add’l plugins for Recipe Generator and WP bakery? Please advise.

Thank you for purchasing the theme. The Food demo was wrong in previous version 3.2.1. This has been corrected in latest 3.2.2 version. Make sure to update the theme to latest one, or take the XML data from latest download archive.

In which post module style you want the square shape? If it is the tile layout, then you will need to set aspect ratio as 1. If it is other module styles, you can set image width and height as same value and enable the hard crop mode. For post modules you will do this setting in King Composer mode of the page. For archives, you will do this setting in Appearance > Theme Options > Image Sizes.

Well i thought because the site has the option to accept users to login, then their personal info do get stored on the some server through site. Do users submit their info when they log in?
It seems that every theme is adapting to the rules. I see them all being updated. Most of the new themes have displayed as an extra feature to let the buyers know that the theme is adaptable to GDPR.

Your concern is obvious after these recent changes in rules. The login feature of the site is a part of WordPress core (not theme feature). The theme doesn’t have any option for logging in or storing user data. WordPress itself is updated as per these new rules, so you need not worry regarding the user login. The user data is stored in your site’s database which can be erased when required. WordPress has option to erase all personal data.
Regarding themes which are updating for this new rule, this is because they might be collecting user data in some way like forms, custom login feature, subscription, forum logins, activation, etc. With this theme, I can assure you that not such data is stored or collected. If you can send me the details of notice which you got regarding the theme, it will help me in tracing out which information is getting stored. If found any such issue, I will fix that at my earliest.

The theme contains appropriate entries for hatom. It seems you have hidden the post date, author, etc. These contain microformat entries which are supported under hatom. You can also remove these errors by using this plugin. Or enable the date and author meta in theme.

It seems you have already solved the problem. If not, the solution is to Save all settings inside Appearance > Theme Options. If you do not have many custom settings, a “Reset all settings” will be much better.

in this section, class=”attachment-post-thumbnail wp-post-image” alt=”copenhagen-1721511_1280.jpg”> this section was reported incorrectly in terms of seo. Normally, should not the title be added automatically?

Hello Gokhan,
Generally post images are wrapped in an anchor tag which points to the permanent post. The anchor has title tag, and the inner image tag has alt tag. This together provides appropriate content for SEO. If you want to add title tags to images, it will be required to edit core files of theme and the NewsPlus shortcodes plugin. I will try and add these in next updates.

Thank you for purchasing the theme. The logo URL is used in Schema microdata and it shall be replaced with the one on your site. This logo URL is used in places — in all archives/categories, and in post modules generated in Home pages. I will mention how to change the logo URL in both cases:
1. For archives and categories, navigate to WordPress admin’s Appearance > Theme Options > Header. Then provide a logo image inside “Custom logo URL” option. Then save these settings.
2. For post modules used in Home page (or in any page) using King Composer, edit the module in King Composer mode. Then click on the “Schema” tab. Inside that panel you will see an option for choosing publisher logo image. Browse the image and save changes. Then update the page.
