The theme is working great so far, but I’m struggling with figuring out how to customize the content text in my posts. For example, when I go into the Customize Panel, and add the following custom CSS to increase the weight, the text remains unaffected:
p { font-weight: 500 !important; }
Several people on my team commented that it is difficult to read, and suggested a heavier weight for the font. How can I increase the weight?
Hi,
Thank you for contacting us.
We tested this CSS code on our testing site and it worked.
But please note: not every font supports all the font weight values (100 to 800). In order for the font to use “500” font weight, the font must have built-in faces that match the specified weight. If the font you selected doesn’t support the font weight “500”, then this CSS will not work.
To find out which weights are available for a selected font, please:
1. Go to Google Font website – https://fonts.google.com/ .
2. Search for the font you selected for “Text Font Family”. Then click on the font to go to its details page. Please see this screenshot as reference: https://d.pr/FREE/5YWSRK .
3. Click “Select This Font”. Please see this screenshot as reference: https://d.pr/FREE/0Dj1LU .
4. The “1 Family Selected” box will be displayed. Click on it to expand it. Please see this screenshot as reference: https://d.pr/FREE/9Crh1x .
5. Click on the “Customize” tab, there you will find which font weight of this font are available. Please see this screenshot as reference: https://d.pr/FREE/YczdHI .

If you find that the selected font does support “500” weight but the CSS doesn’t work on your site, please send us the following information so that we can look into this problem for you:
1. Please send us the URL of your website
2. Please create a temporary admin account for us and let us log into your site to check the settings.
Please email these information to general@loftocean.com .
Thank you very much.

Thanks, that helped! For some reason my body text had tons of tags which were defining the weight. Quick follow-on question: is there a way to hide a featured image from displaying at the top of an individual post? I tried using the “hide featured image” plugin but it doesn’t work (the reviews are pretty bad too)
Hi,
Thanks a lot for you reply.
Sorry but currently the theme doesn’t provide an option to hide the featured image on a single post.
Since there are 7 different post templates available in the theme, it’s not easy to hide a featured image from a single post by adding simple custom CSS. For some post templates, we can simply hide the featured image, but other post templates also involve the changes of the post header height and text color (post title and meta).
We will add this new feature in the next update of the theme to make sure that each post template can hide the featured image correctly.
Thank you very much for bringing this up.
Best regards,
The Loft.Ocean Team
Currently the search only search for post_type=’post’, how can I search for other post_type as well?
Hi,
Sorry but currently Fallsky theme doesn’t support this feature. We will add this new feature in the next update of the theme.
Thank you very much for bringing this up.

Hi,
I have my web in two languages.
Where can I change the “close” word of the fullscreen menu for the two languages?
I´ve been looking for this in the “chain translation” but I haven´t found it.
Thank you very much
Hi,
Thank you for contacting us.
To translate the “close” word of the fullscreen menu, please use the .pot file. Please read this How-To article to know more details: http://www.loftocean.com/fallsky/translate/how-to-translate-fallsky-theme/

Hi,
Is possible to set the accordion default close?
Thanks
Hi,
Currently when adding a group of accordions, the first one will be open by default.
We will add more options for the Accordions shortcode in the next update of the theme to allow the users to set all accordions to be closed by default.
Thank you very much for bringing this up!

Hi,
Just want to let you know that Fallsky v1.2.0 has been released. In this update we have added a feature to set all items in a group of accordions to be closed by default.
Please update the theme and the required plugin “Fallsky Extension” to v1.2.0 for this new feature.
And you may like to check this screenshot to know more details about this feature.
Thanks!
Thank you very much!!
Hi.
I’ve got the Fallsky theme installed and running fine so far for our new on-line magazine. I’ve discovered (hopefully minor) issue though that I can’t figure out:
When in the Customizing panel, I’ve ensured that the hamburger menu is turned off i.e. the only thing that should show in our header is the logo top-center and search icon on upper right (header layout #6). However, when I preview it for a tablet, the hamburger icon appears on the left, and when I preview it for phone, the search icon disappears while the hamburger icon stays on.
How can I ensure that the hamburger icon is always hidden and the search icon is always accessible, regardless of device and screen size?
Sorry – disregard. I figured out what I needed to do.
您好!非常喜欢fallsky这个主题,已经通过朋友购买了。在安装完后,发现我我的网站页面打不开,是什么原因呢?现在网站后台和FTP都是正常的。

Hello, Does the Fallsky theme comes with a child theme in the download after purchasing? Thanks, Masha
Hi Masha,
Thank you for your interest in our theme. Yes, the child theme is included in the download package after purchasing.

Hello! I think the theme is really great! I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now, and for just over a week the instagram pictures are not updating anymore. All plugins are up to date. What can this be? And one more question I have: would it be possible to add social media icons to the header at the next update? Best regards
Hi,
Thank you for contacting us and thank you for your kind feedback! And please see below:
1. Instagram pictures stop updating
This issue may occur if recent published posts in your Instagram account are all videos. Because the Fallsky theme couldn’t get Instagram video posts before version 1.1.6.
We just released Fallsky v1.1.6, and in this version, the Instagram video posts can be displayed on users’ websites.
If the problem on your site is not caused by this reason, could you please send us your website address (URL) so that we can look into this problem for you?
You can leave your site URL on this comment page, or email it to: general@loftocean.com
2. Display Social Media Icons in site header
No problem. This new feature has been included in the version 1.1.6. Please update the theme and the required plugin “Fallsky Extension” to the latest version to get this feature.
How to update the theme: http://www.loftocean.com/fallsky-doc/documentation.html#theme-update
How to update the required plugin: http://www.loftocean.com/fallsky-doc/documentation.html#required-plugin-update
After updating the theme and the required plugin, please open your WordPress customizer, then go to Site Header > Header Layout, you will find the new option “Display Social Menu” before “Search” options.
Best regards,
The Loft.Ocean Team
Hello. Please tell me why the posts are not displayed with social media buttons in your demos ? Is it possible ?
Hello,
The theme doesn’t provide the feature to display social media sharing buttons for posts lists on an index/archive page. Social sharing buttons can be shown on every single post.
You may need to use some third-party plugin to add social sharing buttons to posts lists on an index/archive page.
Thanks for your interest in our theme.

Hi there, I’m using your theme and I’m very happy with it. It’s clean, beautiful and easy to customize. I’m wondering about adjusting the image size for the images on the front page (full-width-featured & home widgets), as my watermark gets cropped weirdly. Can you let me know how I can fix this? Many thanks for your help in advance.
Hi,
Thank you for contacting us and thank you for your kind feedback!
In order to create some special effects and keep the posts look consistent and neat, the post featured image is used as the background image of many areas on the front/home page. This may be the reason.
Could you please provide the following information, so that we can look into it for you and see what we can do for your situation?
1. Please send us your website address (URL).
2. In which home widgets you’d like to adjust the image size?
3. If we can also have some screenshots, that would be helpful.
Please send these information via email to general@loftocean.com .
Thank you very much.

Hello. For single posts I would like to add the_title(); above the post content. In my child theme, I tried adding this to single-post.php just above fallsky_main_content(‘fallsky_single_post_main_content’);
The problem is that the post content appears to have some left padding or something, because the title is not in line with the rest of the content (See: http://www.new.preachingfriars.org/wp-content/uploads/left.png).
Could you advise where would be a better place to put the title block so that it will fall in line with the rest of the post content?
Hi,
Thank you for contacting us.
We recommend using filters and actions to add custom PHP code in the child theme.
Please add the following PHP code into the functions.php file in the child theme folder:
add_action( 'fallsky_ads', 'fallsky_child_single_post_title', 1 );
function fallsky_child_single_post_title( $position ) {
if ( is_singular( 'post' ) && is_main_query() && ( 'before_single_post_content' == $position ) ) {
printf( '<p style="font-size:28px;">%s</p>', get_the_title() );
}
}
Please see this screenshot as reference: https://d.pr/FREE/WgQM2X
Then the extra post title will be added before the “post-entry” div, like shown in this screenshot: https://d.pr/FREE/xNb6pb
Hope this helps. Thank you very much.
Best regards,
The Loft.Ocean Team
Well that certainly didn’t work. It bricked my child theme. I had to go into the MySQL database and manually change it over to another theme. Are you sure I can’t just add the_title() somewhere in the child theme files?
Yeah.. I don’t know what the heck your code did to my child theme, but it is toast. I removed the above code completely from my functions.php file but I can’t re-activate the child theme. I’m a bit pissed at the moment.
Hi,
This is strange, because before we sent this PHP code to you, we have added the PHP code to the child theme and tested it on our test site to ensure that it works properly. As you can see from the screenshots we provided, it works fine on our test site (the screenshot: https://d.pr/FREE/xNb6pb ).
Could you please create a temporary admin account for us and let us log into your site so that we can take a look into the problem for you? Because every user might have a different site environment, that would be the best method to find out the exact cause of the problem.
Please send your login credentials to us via email to: general@loftocean.com
Looking forward to your reply. Thank you very much.
Best regards, The Loft.Ocean Team
Hi,
We just visited your website and found that your website is working properly and the extra post title has been added to the correct place (please see this screenshot of your website: https://d.pr/FREE/2hzOLc ).
If you have any problems or questions when using the Fallsky theme, please always feel free to let us know.
Thank you very much.
Best regards,
The Loft.Ocean Team
Yeah, after about three hours worth of debugging and manually rebuilding the child theme modifications I made it work. I’m still unclear about what in your code bricked my site, but it’s a moot point now. Thanks.
Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
One possibility we guessed is that when you copy and paste the PHP we provided, you may accidentally also copied the < pre > tag that wraps the PHP code.
When writing the PHP code in our response, we added a < pre > tag to ensure that the code displayed correctly in the browser. The < pre > tag is not visible on ThemeForest’s comment page. Please see this screenshot: https://d.pr/FREE/8infUo
However, if you read our reply in an email instead of on ThemeForest’s comment page, the < pre > tag is visible in the email content.
We tried to add < pre > tag to the functions.php file in the child theme (screenshot: https://d.pr/FREE/VzKhmK ), and yes, it has broken our test site. After we added the < pre > tag, the test site was inaccessible and we received this error message (screenshot: https://d.pr/FREE/u69W5t ):
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ’<’ in /...../demotest/wp-content/themes/fallsky-child/functions.php
If you saw a similar error message after adding the PHP code, then it may be caused by that.
Thank you very much.

demo content import is not working, some posts and media have been imported, then: “Error 404”. Please advise….
I am trying to import the travel2 demo
I think I can mange to create the demo myself, can you tell me which font you used for the 3 main page headlines, and where to adjust size and font for those headlines…
Hi,
Thank you for contacting us.
1. For the demo import issue:
This is the first time we have received a problem report that there is the “Error 404” message when importing the demo. Could you please create a temporary admin account for us and let us log in to your site so that we can check this problem and import the demo data for you?
2. The fonts used in Travel2 demo:
The heading font is “Poppin” and the text font is “Roboto”.
To adjust your site typography, please go to the WordPress customizer > Typography. You might like to read the online documentation for more details: http://www.loftocean.com/fallsky-doc/documentation.html#typography
Thank you very much.

Hi,
I´ve updated the plugin and blurred images are correct now.
But the banner in the home page is still invisible. But is the same in your oficial theme preview, i can´t see the banner in this preview neither.
I´ve seen in your code:
@media screen and (min-width: 1025px) .home-widget.ad-banner.large-banner-special .section-content img { opacity: 0; visibility: hidden;}
Maybe is because of this?
Thank you
Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
We just checked our demo site and the ad banner is visible on our side.
The CSS code is for “Large banner special effect” and it works as it should be when enabling the “Large banner special effect”. You can disable this effect for your banner. Please see this screenshot: https://d.pr/FREE/wX2dUW
And please see below:
1. Which browser do you use when visiting your website and our demo site? Have you tried another browser?
2. Because it is a banner ad, some browsers’ “Ad blocker” feature may block this type of content. We think this may be the reason because the banner on our demo site is visible for us but is invisible for you.
For FireFox, please read this article from FireFox/Mozilla official support forum: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1198516#answer-1060904
And you can also check that if your browsers installed any “Ad Blocker” extensions.
Thank you very much.
Best regards,
The Loft.Ocean Team
But I want the “Large banner special effect” option enabled. So this code makes it invisible… (in smaller sizes I can see the banner good)
I´ve tried to change this code with “opacity 1.0 and visible” and I can see the banner. but not correctly.
But one week ago I could see the banner correctly, I don´t know why now no.
Thank you
Hi,
Please see below:
1. The CSS code is a must-have for creating the “Large banner special effect”. There is nothing wrong with it. The code was there since the first day when the theme was released.
As you can see in this screenshot ( https://d.pr/FREE/wX2dUW ), there is a description for the “Large banner special effect”: “Only works when screen width is larger than 1024px”.
The CSS code you mentioned:
”@media screen and (min-width: 1025px)” – the CSS code will work when screen width is larger than 1024px, as mentioned in the description for this effect.
”.home-widget.ad-banner.large-banner-special .section-content img { opacity: 0; visibility: hidden;} ” – the CSS code will hide the original image. This is the first step to create the “Large banner special effect”.
Then JS code will add some inline style to complete the “Large banner special effect”.
If your browser does not enable the Ad Blocker feature, there may be JS conflicts/errors that prevent JS from working properly.
2. However, we cannot solve problems by guessing. We need to see and reproduce the problem first.
As we mentioned in the previous reply, please provide the following information so that we can look into it for you.
1). Please send us your site address (URL).
2). Please create a temporary admin account for us and let us log into your site. Because every user might have a different site environment (using different plugins, and different settings for the same plugin/theme), that would be the best method to find out the exact cause of the problem.
3). Please send these information via email to: general@loftocean.com
3. By the way, it’s mid-night in our timezone, please send those information to us, our developer will help to look into this problem for you during our working hours tomorrow.
Thank you very much.
Best regards,
The Loft.Ocean Team
Okk, I´m still working in local, so I can´t send you any URL.
No problem. I´ll try another solution.
Thank you very much for all.
You are welcome.
When your site go live, if this problem still exists, please feel free to let us know. At that time we can see your site and check the problem. Thanks!
Hi,
We finally saw the similar issue on our demo site in Chrome browser version 67.x. We have released an update of the theme to resolve it.
Please update the Fallsky theme to version 1.1.5 and check if it fixes the problem on your local site (you may need to clear the site cache and browser cache after updating the theme).
You can also check out our demo site http://demo.loftocean.com/fallsky/ to see if you can see the banner on the homepage.
If the problem still exists on your local site, please don’t worry, we will keep an eye on this. When your website is online, you can notify us at any time to check this issue for you.
Thanks.

The Loft.Ocean Team
Hi,
I can see the banner correctly now with your last update.
Thank you for your effectiveness!
Glad to hear it worked for you. Thank you for your reply!
And other thing!
All the new photos I add they look blurred¿?
Hi,
Please update the required plugin “Fallsky Extension” and make sure it is activated.
Please read this how-to aritlce “Having some problems after updating the theme?”: http://www.loftocean.com/fallsky/start/having-some-problems-after-updating-the-theme/
And after updating and reactivating the required plugin, you may need to clear your site cache (if you are using any cache/performance optimization plugin on your site) and browser cache first, then refresh your site pages to check the results.
If the problem still exists, please feel free to let us know and provide us with the details we mentioned in the reply to your other comment so that we can look into it for you.
Thank you very much.

Hi! l’m currently working on my website and in the section Import Demo Data, I don’t have the demo travel style 1 & 2… where I can get them ?
Hi Roxanne,
Thank you for contacting us.
Have you updated the Fallsky theme to the latest version (1.1.3)?
The demos “Travel & Style – 1 & 2” are 2 new demos added since version 1.1.0 (released on May 16, 2018). Therefore, if the version of Fallsky theme you are using is earlier than version 1.1.0, you need to update the theme to get these 2 new demos.
(Here is the changelog of the theme: https://themeforest.net/item/fallsky-lifestyle-magazine-theme-with-shop/21713842#item-description__changelog )
1. You might like to read our documentation about how to update the theme: http://www.loftocean.com/fallsky-doc/documentation.html#theme-update
2. Please also update the required plugin “Fallsky Extension”: http://www.loftocean.com/fallsky-doc/documentation.html#required-plugin-update
Hope this can help. Thank you very much.

Hello. I just purchased this theme and imported Demo #1. I noticed that in the primary menu, when I mouseover one of the category menu items, it drops down and shows you all of the sub-categories, as well as posts within the category.
In this screen shot I am hovering over the design menu item
I’m attempting to duplicate this without any luck. I’ve created a new category and published some posts within that category, but it won’t populate a sub-menu. I’d appreciate any guidance you could provide on how to do this. Thanks!
Ah. Never mind. I figured it out. For anyone experiencing this issue, check the documentation under “Mega Menu.”
For the developer: I have never heard of Mega Menu before. In your next update, perhaps provide a bit of a description of what exactly it is.
Hi,
Thanks for contacting us. And glad to hear that you have sorted it out.
We will add some screenshots of the mega menus and more description in the documentation. Thank you very much for pointing this out.
Have a nice day!

Hi I just bought the theme but can’t download it. It’s only 10MB but keeps stopping at 6 with an error, I also just tried to download the theme without the other files – 2MB, same problem get to 1.8 and it cuts out – very strange. Its not my internet connection as I can download other larger files at the same time with no problems. I’ve been trying for 2 hours – switched on and off again etc etc…... I think there is a problem with the file itself.
Hi,
Thanks for your message and emails.
The download is controlled by Envato. It happens rarely but sometimes there may be a temporary issue on the Envato servers.
We are glad to know that you have downloaded the theme successfully. And we have replied to your email.

Can I edit the Post Template (1-7)? where can I find the template files?
Hi,
Thanks for contacting us. Please see below:
1. There is no separate file for each post template. To find the file that controls all single post templates, please go to: theme folder > “inc” folder > “customize” folder > “frontend-render” folder > “class-single-post.php” file.
2. We do not recommend editing the theme files for customization because all code changes will be lost after updating the theme. You can use child theme for code customization.
3. Could you please let us know what changes you’d like to make? Maybe the theme has provided options for that, or maybe we can add new features for that.
Thank you very much.

Hi,
In the main slider of the homepage, when you mouseover, the slider stops. I prefer the slider moves all the time, changing the photo, although you mouseover.
How can i change this option in the styles?
Thanks
Hi,
Thank you for contacting us.
Sorry but currently the theme doesn’t provide this feature. We are working for the next update of Fallsky theme, and this new feature will be included in this update. Thanks for bringing this up!

Hi,
Fallsky v1.1.3 just released, and the option to disable homepage featured slider “Pause on Hover” effect has been included in this version.
After updating Fallsky theme on your site to the latest version, in the customizer > Home Page > Fullwidth Featured Area, you will find the option “Pause on Hover”. Please uncheck this option.
Please see this screenshot as reference: https://d.pr/FREE/P03YZp
Thank you very much.
