They are “Post Widget”s and can be linked to a blog post only. But we’d be happy to help you with adding a custom URL field to that widget. By doing so, you can link them anywhere you wish.

Basically I want my front page to only show blog posts from the post widget but I need to know if there is a limit on how many blog posts I can use and if so how many. Thank you.

Yes, you can add more. There’s no limitation. Just think that area like a 2 or 3 columned layout which you can insert “Post Widget”s as many as you wish.

I purchased this theme however I’m unsatisfied. When I asked this question I assumed that I would be able to add my recent posts to look like the posts that you have displayed in the upper widget area but that doesn’t seem to be the case. Can that area only display certain posts?
Hi Yes, it’s a widgetized area and you can add the widgets one by one, manually. And “Post Widget” displays a single, specific post.

- Sidebar
You can remove the ones you wish excepting “Blog Posts”.

Regarding my last comment, if on the post style you linked just the images or certain sections being the complete width of the white box would be better if this is possible in the theme
Hmm, I understand For now, there’s not an option like that. It can be done, but needs some customization which is beyond our support limits. On the other hand, we can consider this and add as a feature in next updates. Thanks for the idea!
HI. Love the theme and it is on the options list for a blog upgrade we are looking to do. However, I have a question. Is there a category filter option for this theme that allows you to pull posts from a specific category to place in a certain section or page. Hope that makes sense. I have a n example of what I am referring to, but wont post the link to the theme here, as it is a competing theme within the market.

Hi, I am really sorry for the amount of questions I have, I really appreciate your time. 1. How do I make the post titles appear in three different fonts at the same time? My site shows them only in one font at the moment and I cant find this option in the settings (it only allows me to pick one of the three fonts but not all at the same time) 2. I am trying to get the upper widget to be the same as on your demo site. Could you advise where do I find the post ID? Also where do I change the lens colour? 3. Lastly how do I need to change my settings so the featured images appear like on your demo? At the moment square and horizontal pictures do not fit and therefore there is plenty of blank space underneath? How can I get a horizontal picture shown as vertical? Thank you!
Hi I did manage to find the solutions to all of the above except how to have the post titles in three different fonts at the same time.

If I may, I still would like to answer your questions just in case.
1) In fact, it’s the same font but just different styles: Italic and Bold. Here’s an example how to use this:
<em>Sven de Vries </em>Becomes <b>The Autumn Face </b>of Brioni
2) You can use a plugin like Reveal IDs to see your post IDs easily.
3) On “Edit Post” screen, you’ll see a checkbox named “Apply Horizontal Thumbnail Size” under “BvH Post Options” panel at the right hand side. Just try to check it and see the results.

Very interested in this theme but need clarification on the four sections in the screenshot below. Can I set them to be anything? I.E a custom banner that links off to another website, a post, a page etc? Please get back to me ASAP as I need to make a purchase today.

It’s the slider at the top and you can create custom slides to link them anywhere or display the chosen blog posts. You can combine them too. I mean, like 2 custom slides + 3 chosen posts.
The bottom part is a widgetized area named “Upper Widgets”. You see 3 independent “Post Widget”s in 3 columns over there. Any other widgets can be used too. And also it’s possible to use that area with 2 columns instead of 3.
Besides, if you need to place leaderboard banners, you can do it via Banner Management, independently.

Right now, even if you use a square or horizontal image, the thumbnails will be vertical. This can be changed but it needs some customization which is beyond our support limits.
