Pre-sales question: Does the regular license permit us to install the theme on multiple dev environments, i.e. have a dev work locally, even though we’ll just have one end product?

Hey, guys! Thank you for the awesome theme! I was just tweaking it when I discovered no matter what I do, I cannot seem to change the logo. If I remove the default one, only text is shown. If I upload my own, the default renders. I did read the documentation and it seems easy but there must be something else. Looking forward to your answer!

Hi! Great theme! For future updates, can you please be more specific about the changes. For example, include a list of file names that were updated.
We have made certain changes (not possible in a child theme) and it would make it much easier to update if we knew which files were updated.

We thought we had put hook on all our functions to let the users be able to make their own custom theme trough child theme if needed.

Our support team is not always aware of all the changes that has been made.
Changes can be really small tweaks in the css file to big improvement in the theme functions but they are mainly informed on the big changes and not all the detailed small changes.

Hi, I have a problem. I purchased this theme, and after downloaded and activated the theme. It asked me to purchase the license for WPbakery page builder . Isn’t supposed to come already with the theme? Why am i having trouble to activate the page builder now. Thank you.

Congrats for a very nice theme. I’d like to know if we use custom fonts instead of Google’s, do we have to upload them manually and control them only with custom CSS? In that case, is there an option to disable font specs and scripts in the admin?
Is there an interface in the theme admin panel to add custom CSS and javascript?
Is there a frontend login for the general user? If so, can it be integrated in the mobile menu? ( we do not intend to use WooCommerce with this theme )
Can the frontend pagebuilder be totally disabled without affecting other functions of the theme?

1. Regarding the custom fonts, currently you will need to add your own font and custom css to achieve this but next week we have a big update coming and you will be able to upload your custom fonts directly from the theme panel without having to add any custom css.
2. We have an interface to add custom css, for javascript you would need to install our child theme or a plugin.
3. No we didn’t made a login widget since there is already a lot of extended plugin offering this feature.
4. You can remove the Frontend page builder if needed and keep only the backend page builder, this is not a problem.

I am pretty sad that you completely abandoned The Fox. I have 2 sites running the theme and one being an eCommerce site. What am I to do for future updates to wp and woocommerce now in regards to theme compatibility?

Upgraded the theme from Version 1.0.2 to Version 1.1.6 and my theme broke. Developer Tools says cesis_custom.js was throwing errors because this.destroy() doesn’t exist on lines 2159 and 2182. Please fix!

I think a have a small problem with this theme. I Try to install it, but all time i see this error
“Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[’, expecting ‘)’ in /beta/wp-content/themes/cesis/admin/options-init.php on line 55”
I replace the file, and reinstall theme. Also upload theme by TC.

Hi, I have used TheFox for years now, but would like your honest opinion on this. Should I start using Cesis now, will it be faster and more updated than TheFox? Or you will keep up with both themes? If I do start with Cesis, would there be a way to transfer my content to Cesis from TheFox or would I have to start it from zero? Also, when checking the TheFox live preview, I can’t see any template pages anymore.

If you are starting to build new website, then yes, you should try Cesis, it will be faster and you will have more options to customize your website.
But we will keep both theme updated, we are not stopping to work on Thefox, we just needed to release a new theme to include features we couldn’t include in Thefox because of backward compatibility.
If you have a site using Thefox and want to switch to Cesis, you would need to re-create the page content.
What do you mean by TheFox live preview?

Currently we have only from 2 to 5 but it can be done easily, our team will include this in our next update but in the meanwhile, if you purchase the theme and contact our support team they will give you the snippet of code needed to make a 6 columns mega menu.

also a comment on your demo’s , your font variation is not great, makes the demo’s look okay but not brilliant ie: using roboto for everything, Try Merriweather, Hind, Montseratt etc

Hello, congrats for this nice theme.
I have a question/suggestion for it: As the theme is sooo flexible in parameters, sometimes it is sooo time consuming to adjust all the settings that you want to add to a page from another that already has them. I do not mean to update the global options, just copy from another page.
Is there a way to copy the specific Page Options from a page to another? If there is not, I strongly recommend to implement something like that.

Hi again, My main interest is to use it with WPML, so, the duplicate post plugin is not the right solution for that case.
WPML can clone the contents, but not the page theme settings, any idea for that?

Unfortunately there is no way to duplicate custom fields currently.
There is maybe a plugin that allow to copy custom fields post to post or page to page.

Understood. According to that answer, the theme should not be marketed as WPML compatible since the theme itself lacks the ability to transparently integrate with it as other themes actually do.
The amount of time required to re-configure theme related parameters in transalated pages/posts is too much and seems more an unnecessary overhead than a reasonable limitation.

If you want to copy the custom fields via WPML translated content this is an other story.
Copying custom fields between posts is just not something that need to be done from our theme but from WPML :
Therefore please go to the screen “Multilingual Content Setup” > Section “Custom fields” > Select “Copy from original to translation” for the page / posts custom fields.
I really hope you can remove your review since it seems to be unfair.
