Is this theme still under development?

Thanks for your interest in Cedar.
All our themes in our portfolio – including Cedar – are maintained and in active development. Cedar is compatible with the latest version of Ghost at the time of writing, which the live demo is currently running.
OK, thanks for the reply. Has multi language support been added or will it be added in the future?
We’re currently in the process of adding the internationalization to our Ghost themes, and will be updating Cedar in the near future to support this. Until then any translations can be made directly in the template files. If this is a required feature I recommend checking out our Astro theme.

Can i disable post descriptions on the landing-page?

Cedar includes an easy way to add Google Analytics via the theme configuration file.
Alternatively, you can use the Ghosts included method of adding third-party resources (via the dashboard) to add your tracking code – which would be persistent across themes.

This theme is only compatible with the Ghost blogging platform, we don’t offer a Google Blogger or HTML only version of Cedar currently.
Is there a way to dynamically set tags in tag cloud instead of having to set them manually? I attempted to use {{tags}} but this isn’t working.

Hi, I just bought it and realized quite late it’s not ready for latest Ghost 8. Then Are you planing a template update to Ghost 8? and in that case does it have a date? I will probably need to buy a template ready for ghost 8 and not this one.

Hi, I’ve just purchased this and so far it’s mostly great… with two exceptions.
1. No contact page. How do I go about this? It’d be great to include a contact form. 2. The sticky header isn’t always there and seems a little instable. Have you noticed this? Is there a fix?

1. Ghost doesn’t include the functionality to insert native forms at the current time, however you can use a third-party service for this (such as FoxyForm, Kontactr, and many others). The code provided by these services can be entered into the editor for the desired post or custom page.
2. The sticky bar will hide when scrolling down the page, and re-appear when scrolling up the page, similar to a mobile browsers interface. If you want to have this bar visible at all times we can provide the required CSS. Please create a new ticket on our support site and we will be happy to assist with this.

While Cedar doesn’t feature a permanent sidebar, it does offer a slide-out drawer which contains the usual sidebar content. This can be shown by clicking the menu icon within the navigation.
