I’m going to give up from your theme. I need to upgrade the current website where I’m using Newsmag to a responsive/fullwidth grid. The template is stuck and cannot grow and be more versatile. Love all the other stuff: the modules, the editor, etc. But can’t wait for a supposed upgrade that can bring that up. Sorry.

I’m helping my niece to setup her blog but we are having little challenges on this them she bought from u. She want “Latest Article” bar to be position where “Hot Right Now” is. How do we change the position or the latest article to the top?

Sorry but the Newsmag theme does not allow the latest articles to be moved from their original position. You will have to alter the theme code in order to get them above the post content. Hi,
I’m working for a client who uses your theme, in theme panel, “Custom Ad 1”, I added a dummy code : TEST
but somehow when I want display it in single page, it doesn’t work :

I tried but these codes, but show empty.

Hello,
If you want to display a custom ad spot into a page, you cna simply use an ad box element from the page builder. You don not need to code it in. You add the ad box onto the page and select the ad to display from the ad box settings.

Any tools like visual composer required? Or is this theme indepenedent from any composer or page builder?

Our theme needs a page builder in order for the theme blocks and modules to work properly. The theme comes with our in house built tagdiv composer page builder: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial-2/ You can use WPbakery as an alternative though. Either one or the other is required for the proper functionality of the theme.

Yes it is the newsmag theme used on that website but it also contains custom modifications made in order to achieve that design. Sorry but we cannot offer customization services.

Wordpress will be replacing the default editor with Gutenberg in the next major release. Does Newsmag support Gutenberg?

Hi! I see in the description that both themes NewsMag and Newspaper support buddypress up to 2.5.x. However, current buddypress version is 3.1.0 now. How does this affect the functionality of buddypress ? Have you tested it with actual buddypress version ? Thank you.

Budypress is fully compatible in it’s latest version as well as all other plugins marked as compatible with the theme. The presentation page was not updated in this regard. We will update the compatibility list as soon as possible.

Thank you for your appreciation. The newsmag theme cannot have a width change as the theme width is fixed and not changeable. The icon can be changed if using font awesome but you need a custom css code to change it as there is no option in the theme panel to change this icon.
