Could you allow us to completely remove the user profile info from questions being asked the same way Quora does it?
No one really cares about the people asking the questions as they aren’t the ones with the knowledge and serves as nothing more than needless clutter, however, people are interested in the people answering the questions because they are the one with the knowledge.
The focus or should I say spotlight (Avatar/Profile details) should be on the people answering the questions. People do not care about who’s asking the question… only the question itself is of value.
Although Quora does keep profile info viewable when posting a link because people may be interested in who posted the link, also be sure that when you add the ability to post links you also allow users to ask questions about the link.

Discy theme wont save any settings. It just shows a green tick (Saved!) but it does not actually save. As a result of this, I can’t customize anything on the theme. I have already increased max varchar to 3000. Help solve.

It’s easier that way cos after writing the details, one will just fill in the captcha and mark the terms button then submit. But With the way it is now, users can easily forget there’s a captcha and terms button up there. Hence, leading to constant error on submission.
But if the user forget them and click on submit button the comment will not add because forget the fields will not load and add the error note.

When you share a quora question on facebook, they know how to add a photo and the text from the first answer.
Here’s an example

In Discy when you share a question on facebook, there is no photo attached and so… no one will click on it or even understand it’s a link.
Any ideas or plans to solve this?

I’ve made option for this point already from here Discy Settings >> General settings >> Facebook share image, But make sure you upload it more than 200×200px.
And in the next update i’ll add new feature to can upload image at the question like Quora.

The add answer will add a points.
And the negative value like the positive value, for example choose the answer as a best answer, will be add 5 points, when choose it will remove the 5 points.

But from where will get the points to can comment?
they can no longer comment because they are a negative influence to the community, better off without them but i guess maybe allow the user to buy more points?
for example, allow us to set how many points a user needs to comment. let’s say they need 10 points to comment if they only have 5 points they cant comment and will have to buy more points if they wish to participate again or else they are banned from the site.
basically a automated moderation/ban system.
I plan also to make a new feature about ban system and buy points.
but let us set how many points a user must have to comment If they don’t have enough give a message “Your comment was removed because your account does not meet our point standards. Accounts must have a minimum of 5 points to comment.
also, allow the user to buy points so they may comment again, but only let them buy a minimum amount (allow us to set amount) or else users will exploit the point system.
