For anyone who wants to use Contact Form 7 and the Houzez theme then you can actually get the theme to send the contact form directly to the agent on the property view page by using the shortcode [_post_author_email] within the ‘To:’ setting of the contact form 7 settings. You will need to ensure that the post/property was created by the agent, or associated to this user and that they have a valid email address in their profile for this method to work of course.

if you wish to display listing using an MLS/IDX plugin there will be limitations due to the IDX system:
- About General Design. IDX integration mean theme work good with those third party IDX plugins but is impossible to have same page look for IDX listings, page search, property detail page and property related pages. IDX providers use iframe or shortcodes which don’t allow us or anybody to change their layouts. It is also impossible to overwrite their HTML to make same page design like Houzez design and look.
- About Searches and Maps. Theme default searches and maps never work with IDX nor it is possible because theme searches get data from WordPress database and it is not possible to search and get data from the third party MLS/IDX provider database
This is how all WordPress themes work and in general each website that host MLS/IDX listings.
We suggest to use iHomeFinder or Realtyna IDX services.

I noticed that there’s a new custom fields option, is there a way to choose which section the field is displayed in?
Seems like it only shows up in the Property Details section, I want to add “Unit / Apt” field in the location section – which makes more sense than having it separated in details section.

Hi there. I have a website on which I had some dummy content but now I have an issue with the favicon. The old favicon won’t change. Matter of fact, the old icon shows up trice in the source code even though I have deleted it from the file manager in the cpanel so it’s not a browser caching issue (any favicon checker gives me the same result). I just want to ask if there is an option to disable the submission of property to users in front and/or back-end. I need that only the owner of the website can do that. Users can register and have their own personal area but only to browse the properties and create/edit their own profile and wishlist. Thank you in advance for your reply.

Hey I was wanting to only show properties for sale. On the listings pages there is a a tabbed format at the top that says all, for sale, and for rent. I would just like it to be for sale and not tabbed. I have looked in the theme options and haven’t found anything. Is there a way to do this and can you set me in the correct direction? Thanks!
