Y Theme is a theme with ready pages, theme options , demos etc. Instead WPTF is the framework that is used to create the Theme, with it you need to code your theme yourself so is more difficult. I advice you to use Y Theme.

I am working on this theme for a client and when I try to add a new item to a portfolio page the box says “empty” and there is no ability to add any content to the new section. This problem is unique to the portfolio section. You can only update the existing Title box and Text block.
Hi, you need to click the top right button with the red icon of the PAD LOCK to unlock the item, you can also go to Lists > Your list and set the default content for the single portfolio items. Thank you!
Thank you for your reply. It was a padlock problem – the confusing part was that the padlock appears unlocked, but you must toggle it back and forth to unlock the elements on the page.

Your hosting may have some incompatibility, some of the causes can be: insufficient resources, folder permission limitation, modules not installed like the zip one. Please insert the demo.zip at http://themes.framework-y.com/demo-import/y-theme/DEMO-NAME/demo.zip (ex. http://themes.framework-y.com/demo-import/y-theme/construction-architect/demo.zip) as from instructions of Theme options > Demo import > Problems? If still don’t work below the manual installation instructions. If still don’t work I can install it for you with also the original demo images for 20USD, the final result will be exactly like the preview.
============= MANUAL INSTALLATION
DEMO IMPORT
1) Activate the theme.
2) Go to Tools > Import > Wordpress.
3) Install the Wordpress importer and launch it.
4) Select the files demo-all-contents.xml (1-2 …

THEME SETTINGS 1) Go to Apparence > Theme options > Customizations 2) Open the file export.json with a text editor, copy all text and paste it into “Apparence > Theme options > customizations > Import settings” area and click “Import now”.
REVOLUTION SLIDER 1) Install and activate the Slider Revolution plugin. 2) Go to Slider Revolution page and click Import. 3) Select the revolution slider demos you want to use and import it.
ASSIGN THE MENU 1) Go to Apparence > Menu 2) Click on top tab “Manage locations” and assign the following menus: Header Menu: main menu, Footer menu: footer menu, Top mini menu: top menu. Note that footer and top menus can not be inserted in every demo. 3) If you not see CSS Classes field go to top right button SCREEN OPTIONS and select it 4) For icons menu you must select the icon manually 5) For fullpage menu you must reset all the links

Composer no longer appears to be working for me. On the New Post page in Wordpress, when I click click “Templates” under Composer Options, my templates will not open. When I click on the template nothing happens anymore. Also, when I try to open the Wordpress Editor using Composer, it only opens up the plain text editor. It will not allow me to switch to the Visual text editor. Additionally, when I click “SAVE” in the plain text editor, the SAVE button no longer works (nothing happens). Therefore, I cannot create any content for my blog posts. The last time I used composer was around 30 days ago and it worked without issues. I’m using WordPress 4.9.7 running Y Theme theme. Please help!
