I have encountered a problem recently. It always shows that there is no connection established with database. I restarted mysql server, it crashed down within a few days. I wonder whether is my mysql version is below requirement or there is a plugin causing such a serious problem. My Php version is 5.6.36 and mysql version is 5.5.60.

This might be database or server issue, although it doesn’t concern with the theme support because it’s not a part of theme . It may occur because of some plugin or server issue itself. In Saral Theme , we are listing full list of services in other services section to, but if you want to exclude featured service from whole listing of services you can achieve this using custom code. Go inside theme root directory -> page-template -> saral-services.php Add post__not_in argument inside service list query. Check this screen shot for more info, http://nimb.ws/qRPdXf .And add this code at location mentioned in screenshot. Add code:: ‘post__not_in’ => $postid,

For translation you must be using some WordPress translation plugin. For Saral Theme we are providing saral.pot file(theme folder-> languages ->saral.pot) containing all the static strings used inside theme directory. Translate these strings using your translation plugin, it also contain all breadcrumbs static strings. So it will replace home to translated string. Let us know if you need anything else.

Hi! I have 5 items in portfolio, 4 in one category and 1 in another. The problem is that in portfolio page it only shows 4 project. If I add a project it doesn’t show one of the others, but both categories are still there… Why? Thanks!

To add special different page for custom post type archive page, you would have to create a new file. We already set an archive pages with list view design, inherited from WordPress core. WordPress by default uses the archive template of your theme to display the custom post type archive page. However, if you want to create a custom archive page for your custom post type, then you would need to create a new file called archive-{posttype}.php. The best way to start would be to copy the code from your theme’s archive.php file and paste it in your archive-{posttype}.php file. Then start tweaking from there. You can modify this archive file to your heart’s desire.

Hi, I have to use this theme in the company I’m working. Sorry for approx English. I have two main problems. First I want to know how to to make a line breka in the component. For exemple in the widget of contact i need one for the address. The second is that I need ton insert a link into another component so i’d like to know if there is a shortcode to do it. Thanks for showing interest in our theme. Most of the shortcodes are html supported and you can add formatted html in them, some widgets/shortcodes are build with textarea and can be easily modified to support html where you can add html as per your requirement.

Hi, I have the site up and working at HCOlsenConstruction.com. However, I am experiencing a problem with the mobile menu not showing up when I view the site on my phone. The responsive part works on my desktop and collapses the menu to a hamburger, but on the mobile device the hamburger menu is not there. Any help would be appreciated!
