Ok but how long will it take ? Instead of having a new question section, we need 3 section : hot (most commented for the last 7 days) / trending (most commented for the last 24h) and the new questions. When in hot, it doesnt have to appear in the trending section or new question

I saw on the left menu « trending », and when we click it sends to most voted. But is there a timing set ? Because if not, why do you call it « trending »?

We named it only trending but no date.

Well, that depend what trending means. It can be the following : HOT = with at least 5 answers. TRENDING = with at least 1 answer. FRESH = All new questions without answers

About the hot and trending by x days do you need?

Yes you are right about the fresh, i saw it. Is it possible to manage the menu and put the link in first position for instance ? Regarding Hot and trending, forget the date selection, just select by number of answers. For example, hot = more than 5 answers. Trending = more than 1 answer. But it will not be order by number of answer like in the most answered section but will be order by date. HOT = You will see the answers with more than 5 answers ordered by date, so the first one will be the last question published with more than 5 answer. Is that clear ?

Yes you can drag and drop the tabs like you need.

Select only questions with minimum x answers (5 for hot, 1 for trending) then order them by date. the number of answer is just an example, it can be more or less.

You need to up the max input vars value to 3000, you can do that from php.ini file or contact with your host support to do that for you.
