Hello guys, I’ve been using Salient from day one and never had a issue. From version 9, however, full width section shortcodes result in some padding issues. You can see a live example here (http://design.thenewsletterplugin.com/). I know my support is expired, but I hope you can give a brief look into this. Thank you so much and kudos for the greatest Themeforest theme out there.

Yeah, sorry, I always forget to deactivate htaccess basic auth Anyway, I just figured it out by myself. Just for you to know: I always used Salient without the page builder, cause the shortcodes and some custom coding were all I needed, so I never installed it. Everything worked flawlessly. Since version 9, however, the only way to get paddings and other minor styling right, is to have the builder active even if I don’t use it. Not a big issue, but I’d prefer to have it inactive to save up some resources.

I’m using woo bundled products extension which has a layout option to display any bundled product items in a list underneath the bundled product summary using the full page width.
Since switching to Salient theme, my bundled products are showing up inside and to right of the product summary. Has anyone else run into this and found a resolution?

Once you add a few items to the cart and then proceed to the view basket page, and select a collection / shipping address – the option of “proceed to checkout” does not appear..
PS: for now, as an override I’ve added the “Proceed to Checkout” button manually at the top of the page.

Hey there. I am still having issues with my site – I just loaded the newest version, and once again things are off with my colors, layout, font, etc. The site address is https://tailoftwocreatives.com Some of the errors include the font in the top menu, the padding of the main menu/logo, the button colors (everything reverted back to a green color when it’s really blue and pink), under What We Do and the bottom CTA you can see everything is pushed to the left.
My Cloudflare was and has been disabled for well over a month.
Also when I try to make any changes to my home page, I still get these errors – which no one was able to give me a conclusion for previously:

Experiencing extremely slow load times on Portfolio items and the Portfolio tab in the wp-admin backend.
Posts & Pages are loading perfectly fine but when accessing any Portfolio Items, things grind to a halt. I thought it may be caused by the WpBakery Editor but the Posts & Pages use a lot of elements and they work fine.
To cut it short: Portfolio Items & Portfolio Backend are extremely slow. Sometimes 20-30 second load times. Rest of site is fine.
Long time users of Salient, first major issue I’ve experienced.
Any advice would be appreciated!

Hi I have a few video questions:
1. I am using the Video Background with a YouTube link for my homepage here http://atmotion.cloudaccess.host/home-new/ (using this video as test). How come the video shows on my desktop, but not on my mobile phone? How do I get it to show on both?
2. Re point 1, Ideally I would prefer to use a VIMEO as a background video on my website, not YouTube. On your backend row options, I only seem to have an option to have YouTube (or to upload videos whoch slows down website)... I really need to use Vimeo, how come there isnt an option for this and s there code to have thid as an option?
3. As a secondary idea I tried using your vimeo element in the VC backend, but even when I select full screen its has white areas above and below the video and doesnt fit the whole screen which doesnt look good at all, how can I make the fit the whole screen? http://atmotion.cloudaccess.host/home-vimeo/4. I really dont wan to use an MP4 because I fnd it slows down my website so much when it loads…. is there a work aroud for any of the above or can you advise how to fix this or what you can advise?
Ideally I just need Vimeo as a full screen (fitting the whole screen) to work on both desktop and responsive.

1. Youtube video BGs are not supported to autoplay on mobile devices, only self hosted (mp4, webm) are capable of doing that
2. The Youtube video BG feature is not something specific to Salient, it’s offered by default in WPBakery page builder and currently there is no Vimeo option
3. There’s no way to scale a vimeo video to function like a BG without custom javascript. The salient video lightbox offers the ability to use Vimeo sources, so you could link to

4. There should not be any significant slowing down from using a self hosted video – video BGs start to play as soon as they can (within a first couple hundred KB) and continue to load
as they play
Hello! I know that my support licence has expired. But I never asked for any major help and been using this theme for a long time, everything was smooth. But couple days ago admin panel stopped working. Tried different browsers. I don’t see page builder anymore and whole visual part appears as a code. Salient panel in WP admin looks broken too. Your server PHP setting for “max_execution_time” likely needs to be increased. The new eCommerce demos contain a lot of images, and it if that setting is anything less than 100 seconds, it’s possible that it could timeout. Also, can you verify that your PHP memory_limit is set to 128MB or greater?
