I have two questions
1. Override default FB icon and message?

When I copy and paste the URL into Facebook it keeps displaying the default Music Pro Theme icon and the default message “Welcome to the music pro theme”
How do we change this? I’ve already tried uploading a new icon and adding metadata.
2. Multiple Blog pages?
Can I setup a page, with a Blog and sidebar template but have it only display a certain category of posts?
What I am trying to do is have two pages, one for news and one for the blog.
Please help!

You can change the default facebook image by upload a “share” image in the theme options panel. Also when you publish the URL on your wall, you can change the text and page title directly in facebook, by just clicking on it and edit it.
To set up two different blog pages, duplicate the blog.php file, rename it news.php, and change the template name at the top of the file (e.g Template Name: News Page), then create an new empty page with this template.
Then you will have to customize the wordpress loop at row 30 to display only the news category… I didn’t test it but you can replace this line (row 30) by the followin
$loop = new WP_Query("post_type=post&category_name=news&paged=$paged");It should work.. I hope it will help

I’m trying to edit the code in the editor, because I want to delete the ‘logo’ section entirely so that way the header will be directly under the ‘top menu’ bar. For some reason, when I edit the code, nothing happens. What can I do to remove the logo section and bring the header closer to the top menu bar? Thanks!

Do you want to add CD baby in the music logos at the bottom of the page?
So, first add your own logo in images/music-logos/
Then add your hard link in core/music_logos.php at row 93, just before the div closing tag:

Hi Brutal, This is the third time I’ve asked for your help in this regard. Please help me. I’ve even gave you my url to see what I was talking about but you never addressed it. On your ‘live preview’ your pages have drop downs. Such as under HOME , you have drop downs that display the different types of sliders available. Under PICTURES you have a drop down that displays the amount of columns a person can choose from. My concern is how to create those sub level drop downs under the pages. If someone knows what I’m talking about may you please help me.:mad:
Hey, the drop menu is not related to parent page.
To set up a sub level menu, go in apparence -> menu, drag a menu item to the menu area, shift it a little bit on the left, below the parent item. I hope it will help.

Hi, I have a question about the skins. I’m using the wrapped option, but I’m wondering if I can change the page color from black to something else. Can this be done by creating a new jpeg in photoshop and placing it in the right folder? Thanks for your assistance.
Hey, the background for the “wrapped” skin is not an image but a color set in style.css at the bottom of the page in the “skin” section. Do you want the “wrapped” skin with a light color skin?

Been trying to Add Google Ads to it and it keeps displaying an error? I switched it from this template to the regular wordpress template and the Ads work…???

I have added it in the side bar widget and I have also include the code in pages and posts, still shows a 404 error

By default it is the default avatar that is used as facebook share image when ther is no image in the post or page.
You can upload a default avatar and a default share image in the theme options -> general settings

Brutal, Im not understanding your directives for setting up menus. I would like to set up “drop menus like you have. I set some pages as ‘parents’ but the sub menu is not hidden it’s exposed. When you share a post with the like button, the title of the page will be used. Do you really want all your page have the same title? It is not very good for SEO
Note that if you post a link directly on facebook, you can edit the title by double clicking on it

When I share my site link on facebook it still shows the musicpro thumbnail image even though I have changed my favicon…how do I change the thumbnail image? also, it still has the tag line ‘just another wordpress site’ but I have removed this tag line in the general settings. Could you help?

About the tagline, are you sure you did save your changes? Does it still display ‘just another wordpress site’ in your admin panel?
