1- The theme has built-in integration for the Login With Ajax plugin and makes it look/work nicely. On the first demo, click on the user icon on the main menu (on the right side) and you’ll see the login/register/lost password functionality in action.

2- If you have Custom Post Types and/or Custom Taxonomies installed, they will appear automatically in the Tipi Builder blocks filter option. So you can easily show them in your homepage blocks too. In the site of the video there weren’t any installed that’s why none appear.

3- Hm, I’m not 100% sure I understand your set up here. Does it all work in TwentySeventeen theme (Default WordPress theme)?

4- Yeah, there are different types of sticky types too. Depending on the header design you select what is sticky. But you can have the standard sticky main menu as seen here:

You can also have a sticky header that appears only when you scroll up:

Or you can have a sticky menu that appears only after you scroll down a bit, as seen here:

5- Pages can also use the different featured image designs, content layout options and unique header designs that you see in posts.

For example, here is a full-screen featured image set to a contact page:

And this is a post using a minimal header option, and a page can also use it:

to simplify my 3rd question: - WPBakery doesn’t display custom fields using taxonomies, only text; - Therefore, as I’m building a library, I’m using Pods plugin and create a Pods template to show the custom fields content (for example: a book with authors, publisher, cover….); - However, Pods hasn’t a design system built-in, so the templates must be input using html which is quite a graphic limitation and time consuming; - So, is possible to insert shortcods on your content blocks, such as Pods shortcodes or rvslider? Oh okay I think I understand it better now.

But are you referring specifically to a page showing the custom taxonomy archive (similar to a category page), or are you referring to the content inside each custom post type (similar to regular posts)?

If you mean custom taxonomy archive, then yes you can use the Tipi Builder to build the layout for that taxonomy archive and you could insert shortcodes using the Tipi Builder custom code block.

If you mean custom post types (actual posts), then I imagine you paste the shortcodes into the post content area, if so, then that will work too, just like it should work in TwentySeventeen theme.

1- Yes I’m afraid that it isn’t possible to have numbered on other blocks. The reason only the Default posts option has numbered pagination is because of the way WordPress works. That block is what WordPress creates by default (list of available posts) on a given location (such as a homepage or category page). WordPress controls the paginated system and it creates a single global one in each location, so it isn’t possible to give other blocks that numbered pagination option.

2- Ah great find! That was a bug, and it’s been fixed now. Patch will be included in v1.0.8 which will be out later today. Thanks for reporting

First, thank you very much for answering so quickly and for taking care of the bug so amazingly fast.

On the other hand, regarding the first question, thanks for the detailed info, now I clearly see how the “default posts” work and I’ll keep using them on posts pagination.

However, sorry if I insist, but I’m not sure why the upper and lower blocks disappear when I click on the page number 2 and the following. Is there any way to keep these blocks visible on all pages?

About the blocks not appearing on paginated pages, the reason is because of user experience, if the theme loaded all the blocks and you have a fairly big homepage with the paginated one at the end, you would be see the same page as the first page and the user would have to scroll to find the block that is now loading Page 2, and that would cause confusion and feel broken – most users would probably leave the site if they don’t find what they clicked for instantly. If a user clicks for page 2, that’s all they should see on the next load really

1- If you build a page/category page/tag page/etc with the Tipi Builder, then you can set blocks to be ordered by “random” as an option. And in ones with the standard archive (list of posts of that current category/tag/etc), for example this one:

You will see a dropdown to order the posts by Latest/Oldest. In the v1.0.7 update due out later today, a Random option has also been added.

2- If you use the Tipi Builder, you could add one block to feature X post, and then another block to show random posts.

3- Yes, the theme is fully PHP 7.2 compatible.

1- The progress bar is the same thickness as the main menu’s bottom bar thickness, do you have it set to 0 by any chance?

2- Oh that looks weird indeed, they are such small thumbnails that you should 100% have a thumbnail that fits nicely there, could you open a ticket at http://codetipi.ticksy.com and include the url where that is visible to check it out?

3- Ah that is because due to changes in Theme requirements and for security, to store a Javascript ad (such as that), you need to use this free plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/shortcoder/ to create a shortcode version of the ad. Then simply paste the shortcode in the relevant places it will work as expected. The other bonus of this method is that if you ever want to change that ad, you simply change it in the shortcode options and it will automatically update in every location where you used that shortcode.

4- A new option to change that easily has been added in v1.0.7 update. In Theme Options > Global Options > Global Colors: Load More Background color option

5- Could you please include more info about this in the ticket to investigate (include url where it’s visible).

6- That one you see in the demo is actually not a widget, it’s a Tipi Builder Block (Slider) To hide dates you need some clever CSS as that’s so specific:

.byline { display: none; }
.category-news .byline { display: inline-block; }

and replace the “news” bit with the slugname of your category,

And those thumbnails are not right, I think something went wrong with your regeneration because that is not normal.

7- Please can you include the link in the ticket too.

8- Those are actually from the .po files in Zeen Engine plugin, are you translating to Portuguese? If something is incomplete, could you please then send the updates ones over to include them in the theme? This way you don’t have to upload them after every update.

Quick question: I have some pages I built with page builder. Now I want to add page headers to them, like the one you have here: https://demos.codetipi.com/zeen/contact/ I put the image I want but for some reason they are not displaying. Do they only work on regular (non-pagebuilder) pages? How can I have an image header with page title if they are build with page builder?

1- You should be able to use any Facebook Comments plugin really, and you should not need to edit any files! Try installing the official Facebook plugin first and see how that works out for you.

2- You should use the “official” one, maintained by the people who are behind WordPress: https://wordpress.org/plugins/amp/

3- No that should be enough! Did you activate the Views option in the theme options for the relevant element? If so, open a ticket at http://codetipi.ticksy.com with all the details and we can take it from there

Ah okay, in that case, do they seem to work okay though? If the WordPress comments aren’t being removed, that is because the plugin isn’t doing it, but they should probably have a setting, do none of them have a setting to do that?

No facebook comment plugin does that, but I know how to do it differently. The problem is that Facebook comments are misplaced.
