The template don’t offer that option “right out of the box”. You will need to modify the media queries required for the navigation to show up all the time.

Also, the template uses the Bootstrap 3 navigation as a base so you can look into that.

Hi, I’ve just checked the MC signup form in the demo, it works perfect, with notifications and everything (main demo big signup input “join our newsletter”).

You are clearly doing something wrong on your end. Also, my previous response was to recreate the MC integration on a newly downloaded template (without any of your changes except MC related by the guide), and not that the help file is different.

P.S. I can’t write and inspect code for you, that is out of the scope of the support.

Ok, redownload the template again, don’t change anything except the instructions to setup the MailChimp, test if MailChimp integration (with your mailchimp account info) will work there.

If it does compare it to your own work and add the changed, if it doesn’t MailChimp changed their API and i can’t do much (in that case use their documentation to follow their new API).

P.P.S File responsible for MailChimp is jquery.ajaxchimp.js make sure is loaded and the class .mc-ajax used in your setup.

You have the HTML template, that has ecom elements but the implementation is left to the user.

The WP version doesn’t have WooCommerce compatability, and is not planed for the future.

With the HTML version’s ecom templates you can easily extend the WP version and add support for WooCommerce, but you need a developer.

Hi there, no sure if I understand the question correctly but to add a background image before the video start, you do that with CSS – bellow is the code:

.fw-video-hero {
    background: url(PATH/TO/YOU/IMAGE);
    background-size: cover;
}

The video background would not autoplay on mobile devices – this is disabled by the device to save battery.

Its the freelancer theme.. im trying to change the link in the CSS and im not sure what im doing wrong

Hi, this is the CSS required to change the hero image for the freelancer template.

    background-position: 40%;
}

Note: In the url( PUT YOUR IMAGE PATH), your problem is probably incorrect image path also, adjust position for your image.

1) Google Map is paid feature now, so they require you to add a credit card (enable billing), create separate API key and use that.

2) Just write media queries for the screen sizes that you want, reference the icon class in there and change the size. To add your own icons, add them via link in the head.

3) Same here, just write additional media queries for your screen size and customize the template in any way you want, create separate CSS file if you are making lots of modifications and load it last.

4) The HTML version doesn’t support that “right of the box”, but the WP version does. It will be implemented in a next update.

On point 2 and 3: Could you explain me with example? I don´t understand to you. In themeforest your design said ADAPTABLE for mobiles, why do I have to add “media queries”. I don´t want making lots of modifications, I only see that In the text of the header, which shows different phrases, it does not adapt to the size of the phones. It is too big on the iphone and the icons are too big in phones.

Hi, this template is intended as a starting point and not an end result. Every user has it own different demands specific to his needs. The template is optimized for mobile but it was created some time ago.

Icons sizes and text sizes are personal choices so if you don’t like it or don’t work exactly well in your project simply adjust it.

Here is an example of a media query for a screen size of width 900px, that will change all line icons that start with class name linea-:

@media (max-width: 900px) {
  span[class*='linea-'] {
    font size: 34px;
  }
}

P.S. you should have basic CSS & JS understanding to use an HTML template, if not I would suggest the WordPress version.

For the video I haven’t notice that before, here is the link to the plugin responsible for the video bg. Try updating the plugin to the last version or disable the preloading screen or simply make longer video combined of the same videos.

Hi there, just don’t use background-size: cover; – almost all hero layouts use this rule so remove it and set something like 100%.
