Couple of questions before I purchase…
Can groups be private? How customisable are the colours? Can members profiles be private? Can we view an example member? Username/password for a demo?

1) Yes groups can be private.
2) There’s a few options to customize the colours, but these are limited.
3) You’ll need to use a BuddyPress plugin to make profiles private – Google “make BuddyPress profiles private”.
4) Sorry no demo access currently.

Topic: auto-refresh “load newest” not working. When a user posts, I have to refresh the page to see latest updates
i had this theme installed on a site that went live two days ago. I havent slept for two days, shortly after going live, the right side bar disappeared and so did the widget at the bottem of the page. Non of the plugins were to blame, something when wrong with the theme data. Between viewing and updating elements using the theme preview. After 8 hours and intense investigation we had no choice but to quickly seek out and deploy a completely new theme. What a nightmere. I agree the theme is great, but now based on the events of the last few days, its not dependable when it counts. Heres another $55 down the drain. I’ve been a wordpress user for over 10 years and develop plugins, so it was not a plugin issue.

It’s unlikely this is a theme issue, if it were other users would be reporting it and nobody has. I would have looked into your issue if you have opened a support ticket about it, after the Christmas holidays.

Thanks for your answer. Now I have found Socialize theme, that is also your theme. I like the look and feel of its home page and like the simplicity of buddy. Are they both equivalent in term of “features” and customisability ? (in buddy theme you emphase the clean code)
Buddy is a much more minimal theme. You will see from the features list on the item page Socialize has a lot more features and has much more customizability via the theme options.

I’m not legally allowed to offer the theme at a discounted price after just having a sale. Not to mention it’s completely misleading to the users who bought the item on the basis of the sale dates given.

The theme is translation ready meaning you will need to translate the theme text manually into Russian, but you can do it using Loco Translate or PoEdit very easily.

Yes, this is exclusive to the forums. If you allow user registration they will have the same account on the main site and forum.

Sorry I have another question… Is there a way to have a members only forum in addition to general public forums? Ie, can I have a ‘general public’ forum and then ‘private’ forum for approved members only?
1) Yes users can register their own accounts and activate the account via an email link. Note: Users don’t specifically register to the forums, they register to your site and this can give access to the forums.
2) Yes. You can test all this yourself with any WordPress theme using bbPress.
3) Just to be clear the forum functionality if part of the bbPress plugin, not the theme. bbPress does not have this feature by default, but it’s possible using additional plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/bbp-members-only/
Hi, I have tried to install the theme but it is not working properly. I have then tried to delete the theme to start again but I can’t do that – I get a message that says :Deletion failed: undefined
There does not appear to be a shortcode for the forum – once demo data has been imported the forum is an external link. I have tried shortcode from BB press website but it does not look like the demo version on your preview.
I have reinstalled Wordpress and this has not made any difference.

Hi, Theme looks very nice, but there is no social share buttons on posts (share via facebook, twitter, email etc). Can those be added and if yes, do i need plugin to do that? Yes you can add those using a plugin. There are so many out there that will look good and not require any coding knowledge. I’ve used https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/mashsharer/ in the past.

No the latest version does not support this. Also please note theme support does not guarantee support with third party plugins. That said, I just resolved this issue for someone else, so add the following to your child theme’s functions.php file:

Hi, I noticed that the moving menu part the template is quite glitchy. On my Mac using Firefox, when I scroll down, the menu and the entire page jump about the entire height of the menu for no reason. It is quite jarring and while I could probably just get the menu to stay stationary, I do like the idea of having that kind of functionality if it could work. Is it possible to fix this page jump that occurs along with the menu so that just the menu moves with scrolling?
