Sorry but the cloud library plugin is exclusively for the newspaper theme at the moment. The Newsmag theme does not support it.

Like others have asked, is there still no way to track how many times an ad get’s clicked? Not google ad sense ads, just regular local ads. Many advertisers want to know before they commit to advertising.

Our theme does not provide any ad tracking. The tracking is done by the ad provider. For custom ads you will have to use plugins in this regard.

Hi, After the theme updated a few days back, all the images on the home page that are built with the element blocks (specifically 3 and 4) do not show. The alt tag appears but not the images.

I updated the plugins (specifically wp bakery), I also disable my cache etc.. and still no luck.

I also tried rebuilding the blocks, and re-uploading the same images.

Pre-purchase question

I see that you regularly update the theme. Let’s say that I install the theme and you release a new update, how can I install the new version of the theme? Can I get it directly through wp-admin dashboard or I have to do it manually?

If I do it manually, the process will be deactivating the current theme > delete > install the new version theme. Now, what will happen to my old theme style and other settings? Will it be retained and everything will be back to normal after I installed the updated version of the theme? Thank you!

Hello,

if you alter the theme files, an update will remove the custom modifications as the theme files are replaced when updating. Unfortunately there is no update proof method of altering the theme files.

Sorry but the social counter plugin does not allow Vkontakte or Instagram. Instagram has a separate widget in our theme, but Vkontacte has no specific implementation apart from the sharing options. The theme view counter can be set manually for each post using the post views field in post edit: https://www.screencast.com/t/3c1Uv8Ag

Since we updated to the latest Newsmag version yesterday we have noticed that images don’t always load up, it seems to be intermittent, but refreshing the page doesn’t always work straight away. We have purged the cache on our website and the cache in our browser.

There was an issue with the images not loading in the mega-menu, the rest should load as before however. Please re-download the theme package and install the theme again. Then check if there still are problems.

One question: I’m using the Polylang multilingual plugin and I want their language picker to show in the mobile menu as well, but can’t figure out how to add it there. The language picker already is in my top header menu, but that menu doesn’t show on mobile devices. Is it possible to customize the top bar of the mobile menu and add (fe.) the language picker there without having to add it to the main menu? Or add it to the main menu without showing it on desktop (since it is already there in the top header menu).

Please read this guide that covers about all of the “expected” problems when changing Wp themes: https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/checklist-15-things-you-must-do-before-changing-wordpress-themes/ The themes are different and the implementation is different . Plugins are not compatible with all thees so you will possibly have to replace a few plugins that could not work with our theme, The pages could need to be re-created as the page builder elements are different from one theme to another.

Seo should not be affected overall as our theme also has the proper markup required just as the theme you use now. It will have a drop at first when changing themes until the new code is detected and indexed but it will level out afterwards.

Hi, Very good and handy theme. I have one minor issue. After I created a new post, it doesn’t appear on the website. Link is active, but not appear on the website. Some of the post appears on the home screen but not in categorized page. Could you please guide me?
